Driver’s English is good, and he was always polite, puncture and attentive to our queries. The car arranged was very spacious for the three of us, including our laggages. Our expectations were exceeded.

Itinerary
Pick up you at your hotel in Phnom Penh City center from our driver and transfer to Siem Reap City.
On your way to Siem Reap, your first stop is Skun, a small town famous for its unique food market. Here, you can witness something truly extraordinary - the Spider and Insect Food Market. Brace yourself as you encounter a variety of insects and arachnids, including fried tarantulas and crunchy scorpions. Don't worry, though, if you're not feeling adventurous, there are plenty of other local delicacies to try.
Next, you'll visit the Kampong Kdei Bridge, a marvel of engineering that spans the Siem Reap River. This ancient bridge, built during the Khmer Empire, showcases the ingenuity of the Khmer people. Take a stroll along the bridge and soak in the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
No trip to Cambodia is complete without indulging in the local cuisine. As you make your way to Siem Reap, you'll have the opportunity to try Bamboo Sticky Rice, a traditional Cambodian dish. This delicious treat is made by stuffing sticky rice, beans, and coconut milk into bamboo tubes and roasting them over an open fire. The result is a mouthwatering combination of flavors and textures.
After a day filled with adventure and exploration, your tour will conclude in Siem Reap. Whether you choose to continue your journey or return to Phnom Penh, you'll be left with unforgettable memories of the vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes of Cambodia.

Our guide Polan arrived 20 minutes early with the air conditioner on and cold water ready to go. We felt safe the entire trip despite heavy rain as we arrived in Siem Reap. The commentary and stops were great, we enjoyed the insect village, bridge, bamboo rice and black bean stops.. The highnight was lunch in timber huts above the lake…
The car was comfortable and the driver was pleasant but it is just not a very interesting 7 hour drive. Our car broke down so we were delayed an hour but we were at the Spider Market so it wasn't so bad. I would prefer to fly if I had to travel between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh again.
Our driver was on time and friendly. The vehicle was wonderful. He made a couple of stops and provided information along the way.
This was a great way to break up the drive between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh with a few fun stops that didn't add too much time to a route that will otherwise take the better part of a day. Thon is a friendly conversationalist who kept it interesting throughout by sharing insight into life in Cambodia that I wouldn't have gained if I'd just booked someone to transport me from point A to point B. I'm grateful for it. Do yourself a favor and schedule this one to get more out of the trip than you would otherwise. I promise you won't regret it.
This was the perfect way to get from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. The car was very nice. After flying 30+ hours it was great to have plenty of space, comfy seats, and control of the air conditioning. The driver offered us a variety of stops. We liked getting to try some local snacks, but it was also OK to decline. I would definitely recommend this trip to other first-time visitors.
Mr Thon was great - the drive was very smooth & we felt very safe being driven by him. He answered all of our questions & pointed out interesting sights along the way too. Thanks for making a long journey so enjoyable!
Sam was an excellent, very, very good driver!! And communicator about everything we sas on our journey!! Fantastic!!!! Saskia and Wil
Our driver Mr Sopheak was ready waiting for us ar our hotel this morning, very friendly shared stories, stopped for coffee, a picture at kampong bridge and got us to try local bamboo rice and crickets along the way too which was cool! Simon who organised the trip was very responsive and helpful on whatsapp providing all information for pick up the evening before - would recomend if you need to travel Siem Reap to Phnom Penh or vice versa
Absolutely fantastic! Our driver went above and beyond - adding the floating village to our itinerary - which we really enjoyed. Spider Market was really interesting!
Great day trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with friendly and helpful driver. Scenic view and old bridge, and spider insect are good places to visit and make fun. Thanks
Our driver picked us up from our Hotel on time and our trip was comfortable, safe, and not rushed. We spent more than enough time at the booked stops, the highlight of course being the insect/spider market where apart from the spiders and scorpions, there is also a good selection of fresh and dried fruits.
Pick up and drop off as expected. Car was roomy and driver friendly. Limited english. Stop at the Spider Sanctuary?? Nope. Insect market was a rest stop with locals bringing spiders to us.. expecting us to pay for photo. Good basic transfer. Dont expect to be excited by the " hightlights" mentioned
It was a pleasant trip to Siem reap but really not worth the price . You would have seen the same sights on a bus . Would not recommend this as value for money
The best way for travelling in comfort and style from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. A very comfortable people mover style of vehicle, but more importantly, driven expertly by a very good driver. The journey was punctuated by some interesting stopovers, and a very pleasant lunch stop. Highly recommend this service. Pick up from our hotel in Phnom Penh, on time, as arranged at 9:00am. Arrival in Siem Reap at 4:00pm. A special mention for our excellent driver, Daro, his driving had us feeling safe and comfortable and he was able to provide handy tips and advice as we went.
Comfortable, clean vehicle. Safe driver. Got to eat a tarantula. Visit local markets. Driver happy to stop to show me what the road side vendors were making in the sugar cane pieces.
Friendly driver - but not too chatty - made it an easy journey. Was waiting for us at pick up time, comfortable minivan, good driving. Whol journey was quicker than getting a flight with airport transfers and waiting time, and with the flexibility of us setting the time. We were given the option of stopping at various attractions, but just asked for a coffee stop, which driver arranged.
An unforgettable tour that exceeded our expectations! Traveling by road with Mr. @Sim Somal was a truly pleasant and safe experience. His expertise as a driver and his warm personality made our journey effortless and enjoyable. We deeply appreciate his professionalism and friendly attitude, which turned our trip into a remarkable experience.
Our driver was very good - he pushed on when safe (it is a long way!), but we never felt that he drove dangerously- he had good anticipation. He was keen to make us comfortable from the start and the seats were adjustable - we even had footrests. When we stopped there was no pressure from him to buy anything. Altogether an enjoyable experience with plenty look at as we drove through various villages and small towns, and an opportunity to sleep if we felt like it.
Really good experience, our driver was safe and considerate, good commentary on the journey. Very comfortable vehicle to travel in, very pleased we chose this instead of the bus. Some good stops, sampling food, spider market etc
Absolutely recommend taking this drive rather than flying from PP to SR as we got to see the beautiful countryside. We had quite a few stops as the tour mentions and our driver Sok Heang was super accommodating and stopped for an impromptu 7/11 trip too. The vehicle was a minivan and was extremely comfortable and spacious for my family of 4. Overall a great tour - would recommend.
Great trip from Phnom Penh to seim Reap. very relaxed. Ken is a Safe driver, speaks good English and is an interesting conversationalist. Very pleasant way to make the trip
Great trip stopping at places of interest along the way Richee ( not sure of spelling) was very polite helpful and full of information. We were able to stop as many times as we wished to see places of interest along the way. We highly recommend this trip between the two cities, thank you
Travelled today, from Phnomh Penh to Siem Reap. (07/04/2025. Our driver Rich, I am sorry if I have mis written your name, was brilliant! Very courteous, communicative and interesting. We had numerous interesting stops along the way, Riche was very knowledgable about his Countries history and made each place, so interesting. Thank you so much for a great journey, you are a major credit to your Company
Our guide and driver took good care of us, and educated us well on the long drive through the Cambodian countryside. The scenery was interesting and enlightening. I loved visiting the ancient Khmer bridge, which was our first introduction to Naga and Nagini balustrades and finials in Cambodian architecture. And I intellectually appreciated the Skun Spider Sanctuary, although I really would have to be starving to eat roasted bugs. And the bamboo sticky rice was to die for!
Some of the stops were very interesting but .....Trip booked by agent was not the trip we asked for including the driver not speaking any English and two of listed stops on the itinerary were omitted. We were given a hand written payment receipt with no detail about which trip, and we didn't receive the itinerary which was promised later after payment. Although we had booked a private van as part of the trip package, we were hurried along at every spot, but the agent had told us we could take our time. The problem was not the driver but the agent who booked the tour. When contacted via What's app she was argumentative and deleted some of our conversations. My review is not entirely about the trip but about the agent. Advice, book with a reputable agent. This is not a review from a cranky traveler. There were 5 of us in the office who can verify the review content is accurate.
Long trip on busy roads, but worth the experience. Driver was great and the built-in stops were interesting and broke up the ride.
Great private day drive between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Our driver was on time, had a nice clean car, spoke excellent English, was engaging and entertaining the whole 6 hours. Answered all our questions about Cambodia and also just let us enjoy the drive when we wished. We stopped at so many places and he showed us his favorite places for bamboo sticky rice, corn sellers, palm hears, edible lotus, even the spider market where he picked up some interesting snacks for his children. It's a long drive between the cities and this made it a tour of its own. Very fun, great way to travel between the 2 cities. Highly recommend this company and their drivers.
Mr Tha was very friendly and informative. Told us lots of local information and a very good driver. Nice clean car and had fresh cold water for us. Made 3 stops on the way that broke up the journey.
Enjoyable trip. Driver showed up on time and was happy to provide information along the way. In addition to planned stops we made some additional stops for roadside vendors.
Great driver, good car. We took the trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Raep. It became a private tour because there was not enough participation for a bus ride. Many nice stops along the way! Total duration about 6,5 hours. From hotel to hotel!
So glad we took this way to travel to siem reap...stopping to see local delicas es and other stops breaks the journey up and before you know it your there..Mr Han was very knowledgeable...
Fantastic driver, knowledgeable stopped bought us fruit en route very pleasant chap ,explained all sights and history of areas we drove threw lovely highly recommend worth the money as other wise sitting around in airport's
Driver arrived on time, spoke good English and the car was clean and comfortable. The three stops were well placed, we didn’t stay long at each and made excellent progress towards Phnom Penh. Would definitely recommend company and Mr Ka in particular.
On the way from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap we made 4 stops. The first was a spider village where they boiled all kinds of small animals like tarantulas, frogs, grasshoppers, crickets, scorpions and silkworms and sold them. I dared to try everything because everything tasted delicious. The lunch break was on a stilt house stuck in the sea. We passed an old bridge Spean Praptos or Kampong Kdei Bridge, which was once the longest corbel arch bridge in the world, with more than twenty narrow arches spanning 285 ft (87 m). The bridge was built in the 12th century during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is one of the few bridges from the Khmer Empire that has survived to this day. Finally, at the edge of the street we were allowed to eat Krolan, a Cambodian street food consisting of sticky rice, black beans, coconut, jackfruit steamed in bamboo on a charcoal fire. The stick is bought whole and then peeled open to eat. The dish is a popular street food in Cambodia. It was a very nice experience. I can recommend this driver Kuor Polan.
The driver spoke good english and also took us to a nice place on the lake side for lunch. He stopped at a few places for the tour and a few extra
Really interesting visits en route to Siem Reap. The spider market at Skun was fascinating but I preferred the fruit there. Lovely driver and his very nice wife. I struggled a bit with the meat flavoured peas they were eating in the car, because the smell was quite strong.
We had a lovely "memorable" journey. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaged with us throughout our tour. It certainly was an experience we will never forget, especially the tarantulas at the market in Skun. We would recommend this tour....
Driver was very kind and arrived on time. He carefully navigated us through the busy streets and offered to stop for breaks. He showed us some sites from the vehicle. Would highly recommend.
A great way to see a bit more of Cambodia while travelling between PP and SR. Our driver was very warm and friendly, even holding a massive live tarantula for us to see at the Skuon insect market (beyond the call of duty!). He also came back to our hotel that evening to return a jacket I had accidentally left in the car. This was extremely kind of him, he must have been tired after the journey. We also very much enjoyed the stop at the ancient bridge, and trying some of the local warm coconut cakes there on his recommendation. The trip took about 6 hours but we were comfortable and well looked after. The airconditioned SUV was spacious and fitted 4 of us (all adults) plus a suitcase each. There were plenty of opportunities for restroom stops on the way (though be aware that you need to pay 500 riel, about 12c, to use some of them, so bring some small notes and your own tissue paper). With airport transfers, check-in waits etc, the trip was probably not much longer than if we had flown, and a lot more fun and interesting.
Excellent service, punctual knowledgeable driver. Driver friendly and helpful Clean well looked after transport. Would recommend
This transfer option from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap was a great way to see the country side and we made several stops on the way, which broke the trip up and gave us interesting things to see. Our driver, Senglay, was fantastic. He was a good driver, super friendly, very knowledgeable about everything we saw and his English was excellent. We ended up organising him through the company to take us around Angkor Wat later in our trip and for other transfers. This made everything really simple and we learnt so much. For every scheduled pick up, he was there half to one hour early in case we decided to get going but would otherwise wait till we were ready. We also ended up at some places only locals eat and go to, that we never would have tried without his knowledge and local language skills. Whatever we wanted, he delivered. Highly recommended
It was a nice way to do the transfer between phnom penh amd siem reap. We did 4 stops, a market with insects, lunch, a stopp for a cambodian cake to eat, a stop at a old bridge and a stop to eat sticky rice in a bamboo. The driver simon spoke well in english an explained the diffrent stops and how the bridge was built. He gave us answers to out questions.
Our driver was fantastic and very accommodating for stops, would highly reccommend if you need a private driver to travel to Siem Reap
Good trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with stop 3 places. We enjoyed the countryside with beautiful landscapes along the road. The driver was very nice and had good English speaking. Thanks
LESSON LEARNT :( We got a transfer ! Learnt nothing and spent the whole time confused about where we were, when we were stopping. What a Huge misrepresentation This is no reflection on the driver who was safe and tried his best This is on your company I feel totally ripped off, sad for my kids and extremely disappointed with your false advertising I am also understanding of the holidays - but then sell it cheaper as just a transfer NOT as a escorted tour Contacted company and got a 12% refund however still double the price if we got a private higher end SUV
A very pleasant rip up the highway. Unfortunately, we happened to go on a major public holiday so added a few hours in traffic. was all good though and we had a good look at the countryside and outer city limit of Phnom Phen. Couple of interesting stops.
Mr Han was very friendly and accommodating. The trip took less time than expected which was great. The stops along the way were interesting and well spaced out. He had some good information to share where we stopped and the local foods were well worth trying. Be sure to try the bugs along the way, they are pretty tasty! Thank you for the trip, a much better way to travel than by bus!
This is a very convenient, affordable, and scenic way to travel from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. We had a nice time at the different stops, and we had a very safe driver. The price is very affordable. This is a good way to see the country if you do not mind the extra time!
I considered flying from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, but after experiencing a cancelled flight and flight delays, I thought this would be a great way to see the countryside and experience some local villages along the way. I’m so glad I did! The drive was very relaxing and getting to spend time with Saheu and get a better understanding of daily life in Cambodia was priceless. If you have a few extra hours to spare, I recommend this! It only took 5.5, which once you factor in getting to the airport early and dealing with flight delays, it could be around the same amount of time.
