Itinerary
Phnom Penh’s early morning buzz around you as you wait in your hotel lobby, your name on a cheerful “welcome” sign held by your driver. Fifteen minutes before departure, you're ushered into a comfortable, air‑conditioned vehicle bound for Siem Reap. Over the next 5–6 hours, you’ll glide through Cambodia’s changing landscapes—rice paddies, villages, and open skies—with relaxing toilet and coffee breaks sprinkled along the way.
Angkor Wat, built c.1150 by King Suryavarman II, is a monumental Hindu-Buddhist temple complex near Siem Reap. Covering around 160 ha, it's famed for its five-tower silhouette, vast moat, and intricate bas-reliefs depicting gods and epic tales
The South Gate of Angkor Thom (late 12th–early 13th c.) is the best-preserved entrance to the walled city. Flanked by devas and asuras holding naga balustrades, it features 23 m towers with serene faces carved in the Bayon style
Bayon, the state temple at Angkor Thom built by Jayavarman VII (late 12th–early 13th c.), is famous for its ~37 stone towers, each adorned with immense serene faces. Its galleries brim with bas-reliefs depicting myth, history, and Khmer daily life
Enjoy Khmer Traditional Lunch
Ta Prohm (late 12th c., by Jayavarman VII) is a jungle-clad Buddhist temple near Angkor Thom, famed for its massive trees and roots entwined with mossy ruins. Left largely unrestored, it evokes an “ancient, overgrown” atmosphere and featured in Tomb Raider
Pub Street comes alive with color, music, and irresistible energy. Located in the heart of Siem Reap, this iconic street is the city’s nightlife epicenter—buzzing with life, laughter, and unforgettable experiences.
Step into the vibrant soul of Siem Reap at the Old Market (Phsar Chas), where the charm of Cambodia comes alive in a colorful, chaotic, and captivating atmosphere. Nestled near the riverside and just minutes from the iconic Pub Street, this historic market is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the real Cambodia.
As afternoon fades, you settle into the your ride back to Phnom Penh. The ride takes around 5 hours, arriving at your hotel as dusk sets in. (Note: weekends and Cambodian holidays can extend the journey.)

A long day, but absolutely worthwhile. Our trip from Phnom Penh gave us the opportunity to experience Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm, together with the impressive Angkor Thom area, all in one day. Mr Randy helped make the experience very enjoyable. We appreciated his guidance and the opportunity to learn more about the history and significance of these remarkable sites. Seeing Angkor Wat in person was unforgettable, and Ta Prohm, with its extraordinary trees and ancient ruins, was another highlight. For travellers based in Phnom Penh who are short on time but want to experience Angkor, this is a very worthwhile and memorable day trip. Yick, Leen & Soon
A very long day but so worth it. Someone told me I must do this trip and they weren’t wrong!! The temples are something to behold and if you don’t go you will miss out. Our driver and guide did brilliant jobs
I highly recommend this activity to tourists who spend just several days in Cambodia and want to know more about this hidden gem. Our tour guide Kim is a top professional, who made our day so interesting and memorable! He told us so many interesting facts about these holy places, the region, country, people and inspired to learn more about the culture and history of this amazing place. You’re the best! Can’t wait to come back and spend in more days in Siem Reap♥️
Kim is the best thank you very much for the amazing tour and photos! 😊
Kim was very knowledgeable and explained in detail each temple and the history behind it. Super friendly. Temples were absolutely beautiful.
An awesome way to see the temples. Would highly recommend this tour. Good mix of information and sight seeing. We had Kim and he was great.
We had a great day with Kim. The tour was excellent. Kim made our day very enjoyable and had so much knowledge. Great memories from this trip!
Be prepared for a long day but it is worth it. The total travel time is circa 5.5 hours each way, but there were 2 comfort break and when we arrived we had lunch. The scale of the site takes your breath away and our guide, AJ was really good and very knowledgeable
AJ was a wonderful guide and we had a great day. Fun to be a part of his family for the day.
We had an amazing day exploring all three temples. Rady was very informative and a fantastic guide. Would highly recommend 😊
This day was the most amazing day topping off a great week. Kim our tour guide was so knowledgeable and made the experience the best. Very accommodating and his happy welcoming disposition made the day. Shout out to our driver who made it a wonderful trip.
Wonderful experience, thabk you. Kim is a fantastic guide.
Fantastic tour and Kim was an excellent guide. A beautiful, significant historic tour which was very informative. A delicious lunch was also included. A very special day, thank you.
I had a fantastic experience visiting Angkor Wat with my guide, Mr. T. He was incredibly knowledgeable, punctual, patient, and made the entire day feel relaxed and well organized. The itinerary was excellent and allowed us to see so much without ever feeling rushed. I really appreciated that Mr. T let me spend as much time as I wanted at each location and never made me feel like we had to hurry to the next stop. He also knew all the best photo spots and angles, which made for some amazing pictures! Breakfast was very good as well, and overall everything was thoughtfully planned from start to finish. Mr. T’s knowledge of the temples and their history added so much to the experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour and Mr. T to anyone visiting Angkor Wat with a short amount of time!
Amazing tour and we learned a lot of history regarding the temple. Big Thanks to our tour guide Mr T
What a fabulous way to visit Angkor Wat. Yes it is a long drive but totally worth the effort. My driver was great with a seamless pickup and drop off and stopped along the way when requested. My guide at Angkor Wat, Mr T was very knowledgeable and also a great photographer. For those travellers based in Phonm Penh I would highly recommend doing this tour.
Kim the tour guide absolutely phenomenal. I learned so much about the temples, history, religion and culture. Kim was also incredibly informative and patient and helpful. he always asked and made sure if I was okay and if I needed water. I highly recommend this tour for people visiting Cambodia. they are incredible to the people coming to visit and they are such beautiful people. such beautiful tour guides. highly recommend this tour
Great experience with Tola, he was very helpful and recommended all the photo spots for us. Highly recommended tour!
Enjoyed our tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very helpful with taking pictures. The tour was quite a bit of money with the temple pass not included.
Nice experience.. guide very well explained
Our guide was wonderful. Very personable and knowledgeable.
Kim is an exceptional guide who provided an outstanding tour of Cambodia’s most prominent historical and cultural sites. The program was well organized and Kim left no question unanswered. Easier Travel is fortunate to have Kim as part of its team. I also want to give high marks to Maya for his excellent driving and customer service. I highly recommend this tour, particularly for first time visitors to Cambodia. A
Sin was a great guide, he was a great storyteller with all kinds of different stories! He also took us to places of the temple with interesting stories!! I would book him again, thank you so much!!
Wonderful trip in Cambodia and a nice tour guide as well:)
I wanted to visit Siem Reap and Angkor Wat but didn’t have enough time in Cambodia for an overnight stay, so I booked this day tour from Phnom Penh. The day was long — it started with a tuk-tuk pickup at my hotel at 4:30 am and ended when I finally got back to Phnom Penh around 9:30–10 pm. Unfortunately, the morning didn’t go smoothly. The minivan I was supposed to take at 5 am was out of service, so I had to wait for the next one at 6 am and lost an hour. Thankfully, the driver made up good time and got us to Siem Reap at 11:30 am, 30 minutes earlier than planned. My guide, Tola (aka Mr. T), met me shortly after arrival and sincerely apologized, explaining it was the partner company’s fault, not his. Once we met, we dove into the tour: 2 hours at Angkor Wat, lunch, 1 hour at Ta Prohm, and 1 hour at Bayon Temple before I had to catch the return bus. Even though the day felt a bit rushed because of the lost morning time, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Tola more than made up for everything with his excellent guiding, great photo and video captures, covering my beer expense during lunch, and a wonderful surprise at the end — he upgraded my return bus to a first-class luxury coach at his own expense. All in all, it was a wonderful day. A big thank you to Tola and his driver for going above and beyond to make my experience great! If you’re short on time in Cambodia but still want to see Siem Reap and Angkor Wat in one day from Phnom Penh, I highly recommend this tour. The van issue I had was apparently rare, so you can expect smooth round-trip transportation and an outstanding guide who takes fantastic photos and videos while knowing how to show you the must-see sites.
The actual Angkor Wat experience was wonderful. Getting there not so much. It said we would get back to our hotel at 9pm. It’s now 9pm and we still have over 3 hours left to drive along with a transfer to our hotel. We are not going to be back until well after midnight. Our guide was amazing today and all other parts of the trip were great. The drive was horrible though and not because the actual drive. We expected a long drive. Just not the extra 3 hours combined sitting at the gas station.
The Angkor wat trip was wonderful. It started out a little rocky…we were picked up by tuk tuk waiting outside our hotel with no sign or anything. Just a prewritten text saying that he was here to pick us up. He took us to the bus stop area where we boarded our actually bus. We weren’t 100% sure we were in the right place until we got on the bus and he confirmed. After that though. The rest of the trip was wonderful. It’s a long drive, 5 hours or so one way, but Angkor wat is worth is. We had Mr T as a guide and he was wonderful. He was friendly, he took great photos for us and even took us the places we needed to go for the souvenirs we wanted!
So much fun! Highly recommend, wonderful one of a kind experience!!
The day’s journey, which began early in the morning, turned out to be a wonderful experience. My tour guide, Rady, kindly explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, even for someone like me who is not very confident in English. He was highly knowledgeable about the ruins, nature, and history, making our stay in Siem Reap truly enriching. The lunch was also excellent—everything was delicious, and I left feeling completely full and satisfied. I also had a very comfortable trip thanks to our driver, Maya. I am deeply grateful for the warm smiles of both of them.
The guide was very enthusiastic , and willing to help in every way possible He even took pictures and and explained the reasons why it was hot in April. Well informed about the ancient history of Camb
Awesome Angkok Wat experience highly recommended when you visit Siem Reap Cambodia 🇰🇭 Hotel pick-up and drop-off friendly English speaking guide Lunch included Check it out 👀
It all began unexpectedly wrong, we got a call at 355am from Mr.T the tour guide saying that he had a problem with the Van driver and that we were not being picked up at the hotel in Phnom Penh, we didn't know what to do and at that moment we thought we were going to waste our day in Cambodia, we were pick up at the hotel by a tuk tuk and it took us to the bus terminal were we had to rush not to have missed the 5am bus to Angkor Wat. It was a long journey about 6 hours. We we got to Angkor Wat Mr. T the tour guide was waiting for us and rushed to show us Angkor Wat, we barely had time to admire its beauty, Lunch was amazing, around 4pm we were transferred to another van and headed back to Phnom Penh where we arrived around 10pm exhausted. My advise would be to spend a few days in Angkor Wat and enjoy the place, keep in mind you are going to spend the day on a van for about twelve hours and you are going ti be rushed trying to enjoy Angkor Wat's beauty, Mr. T is a good guide but should have handled things differently for us that day.
Great experience my tour guide and driver are experienced and accomodating awesome highly recommended thanks 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We had a great driver and a great tour guide. I recommend the company travel asia and the tour guide kimhak.
Kemhak was a great tour guide. Me and the Group i was with are happy with his service.
I had a wonderful and informative visit to Angkor Wat. I must say that this was due to the excellent guidance of Kimhak. He could not have been more helpful and this made my experience so enjoyable. The lunch was superb and enough time was given to enjoy the and finish the meal. If I were ever to return to this site I think that I would ask for Kimhak to be the guide for me etc again. Excellent service.
Super interesting place, 100% worth visiting. Quite far from capital, but the pick up is very early, so you can basically finish your sleeping and won’t even notice how you arrived ) Tour included 3 must visit temples of Angkor, super great, beautiful and just incredible. My guide was Kim Hak, super positive person, told a lot of information about each place, answered all the questions at all of the times, helped with taking picture in the scenic spots. Driver Maya was also super friendly, was giving water and fresh towels after each stop since it was very very hot. Lunch with local khmer cuisine was included, very tasty food 🍱 Totally enjoyed the tour, definitely recommended)
Kimhak is the best tour guide! He is funny, energetic and knowledgeable. Maya was a great driver and very funny! Highly recommended tour!
Kim Hak was a blessing of your guide, very Knowledgeable and kind hearted. Maya, the driver, was great and made sure we were well hydrated throughout the trip.
Kimhak is very knowledgeable about the Angkor Wat temples we visited. He took us to many great spots for photos taking. He is very friendly and humble. We would definitely recommend him to anyone. Miya is a safe driver.
With Sin is extra, we have a pertfect visit un différents temples. Enjoy it. Th meal até Khmers Kitchen is wobderful....
Great day spent, the itinerary is efficient. my guide was well skilled and provided great and insightful information during the visits. Lunch was also good and gave a great taste of the Cambodian cuisine.
The temples and other sites we visited today were absolutely stunning. Our tour guide, Mr. T was the best. His knowledge of the temples’ history and architecture truly brought everything to life. And he's a great photographer! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend 👍🏿👍🏿.
Very efficient trip! Leave Phnom Penh in the morning, see the best of Angkor wat and back in the night.
I went on tour to Angkor with an amazing guide Rady. Everything was perfect: timing, places and Rady’s guidance. He gave us lots of essential information on Cambodian history, showed interesting places, helped make beautiful photos , etc. Thanks for the great day and thanks Rady for it!
Mr. T is a great guide! He is knowledgeable, flexible, and very attentive. He quickly adapted to our touring style and gave us suggestions for places we hadn’t originally planned to visit. He also took us to sites when they were quieter, which made the experience even better. We were traveling as a family with picky eaters, and Mr. T made sure every place we ate had options that worked for us. His thoughtfulness, local insight, and adaptability made the whole experience stress-free and memorable.
Transfer from Phnom Penh is organized by regular buses. So no guide on the way. But otherwise it's a very efficient tour which allows you to see Angkor Wat and two more temples. Tampels pass is not included. Which 37 usd for one day
Excellent tour with Kimhak today, very informative. The tour was full of interesting facts and we managed to get some magazine quality shots with our guide, Phanit the driver was smooth!
On our first day, we explored the magnificent Angkor Wat and several nearby temples. Kimhak was incredibly knowledgeable about Cambodia's history and provided fascinating insights into each site we visited. He made the experience immensely enriching for our entire family, ensuring that our son felt comfortable and engaged throughout the tour. What really stood out was his ability to capture beautiful moments—he took stunning photos of our family against the breathtaking backdrops of the temples, which we will cherish forever! It was so nice to have a professional driver, too. Bisita drove safely and kept the cold drinks stocked! The second day of our adventure took us to Kulen Mountain National Park, where we were treated to a beautiful waterfall. Kimhak not only navigated us to this hidden gem but also shared invaluable knowledge about Cambodian culture and nature. His passion for his country was evident, and it made the experience even more special. We left Cambodia with a deeper appreciation for its history and culture, thanks to our amazing guide. We can't wait to return to this beautiful country, and we wholeheartedly recommend Kimhak to anyone looking for a family-friendly tour guide in Siem Reap.
