Phnom Penh Sunset Cruise With Unlimited Beer & Bbq Buffet

Great cruise. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good was good. Great experience

It was nice, but sadly it startet to rain and the boat didnt habe a lot of space where it was dry. There were people on the boat that did not boo the buffet but still went to get food, so it was not enough. The team went to make some more and were very friendly. Great barbecue buffet was quit small for the price.

Really good.....we were lucky to get a great sunset in rainy seasin...the service onboard was excellent. Will definitely do this again.

Yeah all good, we were picked up from our apartment promptly at 6:30pm in a Tuktuk and driven there. We took the 7pm one, it was quite chill, only about 8 people were on board. Lady who serves drinks was kind and brought us everything we wanted. Overall nice little cruise, seeing Phnom Penh's lights was nice. I recommend it to anyone who has about 2hrs of free time to kill.

Fantastic experience on the river Crew very friendly and efficient

We had the package the included drinks and at the earlier time. Boat left on time. Staff kept our drinks topped up. No narration on the boat but was a nice slow trip along the water for a couple of hours looking back at the city. Good value for what it is.

The food was fine. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. A good evening out. Well worth going!

Our recent journey proved to be incredibly delightful and memorable. While the skies were unfortunately overcast, preventing the sun from making an appearance, this did little to detract from the overall experience. Just the sailing .. but the food not as stated Claimed bbq buffet No such as bbq buffet.. pathetic food like fried rice, small drumlet fried,fries…. Nothing like bbq buffet… not worth at all for money

We booked the tour without food and drinks. This was fine for us. The ship started on time and the time was perfect for sunset. The tour was fine. Highly recommended!

We were very lucky to be on the Mekong Magic at the beginning of April and what an amazing tour. From the communication with Dean and being picked up and dropped off at our hotel (what a great touch) we really had a great time Food and drink was great and the service was fabulous, would absolutely recommend this river cruise

It was a beautiful night to be on the river during Song Kran and see the water fights from a safe distance. Thank you for your hospitality.

Enjoyed the cruise with plenty of drinks and great food. Good service from the staff. The only downside is we left the dock late and arrived back early. We lost about half an hour off the cruise.

There is a drinks only or good service which the food was good. The views are of the city and the other side of the river

Excellent value for the cost. Picked up on time at our hotel and taken by tuk tuk to the cruise. Had only booked for cruise but upgraded on the day for unlimited beers. Worked out better as beers on board started at about $2 . Had my share. Didn't get food. The cruise was good at sunset with excellent views of the sunset and the city lights as the sun went down. Highly recommend the 5pm tour.

Nice relaxing cruise but totally uninformative. More geared for couples taking a romantic cruise. The walk down to the boat was a little harrowing. The guard rail on one side completely fell over. Had to walk a couple of planks of wood

Very unfriendly staff. I was injured from a cycling accident few hours ago. Yet they didn’t assist and troubled me with the “buffet” rules

The sunset cruise itself was fabulous, as were the staff. The food was terrible! It was hardly a buffet with very few options and not what I'd consider a BBQ buffet with only chicken skewers and wings on offer, which were dry. Everything was cold and the fried rice tasted like it had been reheated multiple times as it was dry and crunchy. The French fries were inedible as too cold and hard. We had to go out to dinner once the cruise finished! Recommended for the cruise only, don't waste your money on the BBQ buffet!

No fault of the staff, the weather was very bad. Couldn't see much at all. Had to shelter undercover the whole trip. Rained the whole time. Probably should have cancelled.

The cruise was everything it promised to be. The staff was friendly, helpful and obliging and the star of the show, the city lights reflecting on the calm water, was sublime.

Nice experience viewing the city of Phnom Penh and the villages at night. The boat had a nice atmosphere.

It was fun cos of the good weather, was evening so the heat wasn't a bother. We took the only cruise option without food and drinks. Was relaxing for us. The music was unnecessary, or it could have been changed to something more ambient .

Amazing evening very well organised, we did the full package with food and drink, food was delish and the drinks were flowing fast,your glass never emptied before they offered you a another. Highly recommend this trip, staff were amazing friendly and hard working, the music was great too.

Short and sweet tour Good boat reasonably priced drinks. Fruits offered were of good quality. Pick up service OK types.

It was a very relaxed evening with light rain. It's a must to see the Royal Palace and the city from a different view.

A great trip. It could not have been better. The boat was great, beer was cold and the atmosphere was perfect. The music was not too loud so you could talk and hear your friends. If I had known, I would have done it every evening I was there.

Pretty simple affair but value for money. Heaps of food. Loads of drinks. A good experience. I would recommend it to other travellers.

Let’s say that if I had to do it again , I will maybe not go on this tour again. I booked the cruise only but I don’t think the food looked very good. Only good option is to book with drinks maybe?

It was a lovely evenig on the river. It was very relaxing. I liked that they played mellow music unlike some of the other boats that had very loud dance music. We were able to talk to each other without issue and enjoy the tranquility of the river.

Very poor food. Very little choice and not enough for the amount of guests on board. It was embarrassing to see guests waiting for staff to arrive to replenish the food as there was not enough. I wouldn't normally mind, but we'd spent a lot of time researching different tour operators and chose this one because the food looked better. We were sadly disappointed. We paid more compared to other companies. We regret choosing Mekong Magic and would recommend trying a different operator. Staff were friendly but seemed distracted. Absolutely not worth the money. The weather was nice...

It was my last night and had decided to book this cruise . A couple of friends I had met joined me , We all agreed we were so happy we had . It was a lovely chilled cruise the music was perfect too . Lovely staff great views, a perfect way to round off my fabulous trip . To my my new favourite place Cambodia !!

A satisfying tour in general with good service considering the price paid. We were provided free tuk tuk pick up from our hotel to the location where we took the boat. drop off was not provided. If taking a car, lots of space to park nearby but security is not provided. we booked the boat only tour but was provided 1 complimentary drink and a plate of fruit which seemed enough unless you would to use the free flow beer option. The staffs speak good english and quite friendly. the boat wasn't travelling thay fast so can get a little boring after about 30 minutes.

This was a lovely little tour along the Mekong and a fantastic contrast to the busyness of Phnom Penn, pure escapism. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, I enjoyed a couple of beers as we meandered down the river and back again.

Advised collection time and tuk tuk arrived on time and early for the boat. Given a beer while waiting and when we moved off followed the same route as the rest of the boats. Relaxed music and truly free flow beer and drinks with good service. We had booked beer only but offered upgrade of $6 per person for BBQ buffet but a little early for us to eat. Good for the money but you see more upmarket boats also.

Started good but about 30 minutes in it appeared to be taken over by some tourists from Pakistan that had the music changed and danced all over the boat and annoyed much of the passengers. Very disappointed in the overall experience. As well, my wife came down with food poisoning from the fried rice it looks like. Would not recommend.

The sunset and the friendly staff made it memorable. Tuk tuk driver collected me afterwards and took me back (for a fee)

Can’t fault this sunset cruise. Food was amazing and unlimited drinks was great. Timing was perfect to see the sun set and then the city light up. Highly recommend - all inclusive Staff were all great especially Anna - great with kids.

Dreadful food and beer If you want to do a river sunset cruise there are many many options to choose from so do some research. We should have looked at all the options as I counted 15 boats on this river. We wish we hadn’t bothered but I wouldn’t have minded if we had just booked the boat only with no drinks or food. That was my mistake. I accept that. But The beer was terrible. You Can’t have any other local beer without paying $3. Not even Angkor. But you can have a soft drink lol… how much soft drink does one want. Rubbish. The food was dreadful, insulting to Cambodia. Ripping off the tourists with their dry dry poor excuse of a BBQ. Nothing for a vegetarian accept dry bread and dry chips. I complained and asked for a refund for at least one food as there was nothing for me. I got told ‘ you eat French fries though right?’ Oh dear. I would say it’s a tourist trap don’t do it. If you want the boat book that and then decide once on board of you want to buy drinks as you go and their terrible food. Also a tree in a ceramic pot also fell on me and the beer spilt all over my boyfriend and they couldn’t even offer him a towel or cloth to dry himself a little, saying sorry we don’t have that. Very Poor service. Would be a Personal injury claim if we were in London. Terrible waste of money I think. I’m doing a chargeback under section 75 as it’s a clear failure to provide goods a services. Disappointing experience overall and massively expensive for what you got. Best bit was getting off, and the Tuk Tuk driver was lovely though so thank you to him.

The food was ok but the beer was the cheepest you can buy. The sunset and the view of the lit up city was nice. The price could be lower.

A lovely evening in Phnom Penh. As advertised, the beers flowed and the food was tasty. We got picked up from our hotel on time, everything was smooth and well organized. Would highly recommend.

We were picked up by a tuctuc at the agreed time. The cruise was very enjoyable although the sky overcast so not much of a sunset, and also a large party was late so that we were very late starting. The staff ensured we always had access to beer or soft drinks, bringing them round regularly. We found the food to be very good - a mixture of simple fried chicken, rice, a lovely curry, one or two other dishes and fruit for dessert. There was chilled music throughout. One word of warning - the tuctuc driver drove us back to our hotel at our expense.

Great scenery and ambience. Very free flowing beer. Food was ok, don't expect too much. I was full though
