We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with JB. It was a wonderful way to experience a different side of Phnom Penh, from the lively local markets and Cambodian food to the city’s fascinating street-art scene. JB was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging, and his local insights really brought the experience to life. We particularly enjoyed getting away from the usual tourist trail and discovering places we would never have found on our own. A relaxed, interesting and very enjoyable morning. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Phnom Penh beyond the main sights. Yick, Leen & Soon

Fabulous tour of hidden markets & street art. Amazing food, breakfast, coffee, donuts & lunch. Amazing street art. Jackson was an awesome host & guide & expertly driven by Mr Lucky. Would highly recommend. Oh and a surprise to finish !
I loved this tour. After doing all the 'must do' tourist excursions in Phnom Penh, this one really added vallue. It takes you off the beaten track to markets and streets where you don't see a tourist and learn how most urban Cambodians live. Jackson was a great guide with excellent English.
I have sone several of Urban Forage’s tours over the years and they are all fabulous. I’ve brought a few different friends to Cambodia and all of them Have loved the tours. The street art and market tour is my fave because the street art is fabulous. I learnt so much about Cambodia. But the evening street food tour is also great. Food is delicious. I highly recommend !!
Great morning tour in Phanom Penh. Tour guide Jackson was amazing and showed us around town including all the wall paintings and murals. Visit to the market was the highlight was delicious breakfast and Cambodian donuts. We choose to go on tuktuk and the driver mr. Lucky was so kind. Highly recommend this tour for an early morning start I Phanom Penh.
This was an amazing tour. Wonderful street art, great food, and an outstanding guide. We learned a lot about the culture of modern day Phnom Penh and had very interesting discussions with the guide. It was a highlight of our visit.
After having gotten my visit to the city started with their evening food tour (Ultimate Phnom Penh Food Tour by Tuk Tuk: 20 Tastings and Drinks), I had such a great time that I decided to book this one as my last excursion to complement that experience before heading out of town. It only continued to exceed expectations. Jackson is as passionate about the local food culture as much as its street art, which provided insight that I wouldn't have been able to discover on my own. Do yourself a favor and add this to your list next time you're in Phnom Penh. I promise you won't regret it.
We spent a lovely morning with Kanha. She is a delightful guide with very good English. we started at the local market where the produce was fresh and colorful and our “first breakfast” very tasty. This was followed by a fascinating tour of street art in the city before we stopped for a truly delicious “second breakfast”.
Absolutely AMAZING experience! The Urban Forage Tour market & street art tour was packed with surprises from start to finish. We discovered places we would never have found on our own: local markets, hidden street food spots, and cool street art along the way. The guide was fantastic: super friendly, passionate, and full of great stories. We loved every minute of it and would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the city in a different, more authentic way!
The tour was great and Kanha was a fabulous guide. The local market was interesting and we enjoyed both our first and second breakfasts! Street art is always a way to understand the sub-culture of a city and we appreciated learning at little bit more about Phnom Penh.
Highly recommended. An authentic exploration of Phnom Penh, visiting spots you may not find otherwise. Guide Kanha was fantastic - very knowledgable and friendly. Food was great - what could be better than two breakfasts to start your day!
This morning markets, breakfast, and street artists tour was an absolute highlight of my time in Phnom Penh and a perfect way to experience the city beyond the usual tourist spots. Our guide, Jackson, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. He shared fascinating insights into local food, daily life, and the street art scene, explaining not just what we were seeing, but why it mattered. His depth of knowledge, clear explanations, and friendly approach made the whole experience engaging, educational, and genuinely fun. The breakfast experience at the local markets was delicious and authentic, and walking through the morning markets felt like stepping into real Phnom Penh life. Meeting and learning about local street artists added another unique and inspiring layer to the tour that really set it apart. A special mention also goes to Mr Lucky, our tuk tuk driver, who was fantastic — calm, safe, and always ready with a smile. Getting around by tuk tuk made the tour relaxed and enjoyable, especially in the morning heat. This tour struck the perfect balance between food, culture, art, and local insight. If you want an experience that feels authentic, thoughtful, and memorable, I can’t recommend this tour highly enough — especially with Jackson as your guide and Mr Lucky as your driver.
Super communication right from booking. Jackson has really great English and is easy to understand. We really enjoyed our tour. Mr. Lucky picked us up in the morning and we met up with our fellow tourists and Jackson. We visited a very Cambodian market, the BKK, Boeng Keng Kang. Produce, meat/fish, clothing, barbers, hair clips, fortune tellers, Wow! Jackson is chock-full of great info. We had 1st breakfast there, then on to some great street art, lots more info. Great pics! 2nd breakfast, then a special treat, the Temple of Cacao! We got to try so many different chocolates from the first chocolate shop in Phnom Penh! Mr. Lucky made sure we stayed hydrated with ice-cold water all morning, as well. If you can climb in/out of a tub-tuk, you can do this tour, we highly recommend it to anyone!
Great experience to taste local street food. Explored more by tuk tuk of Phnom Penh’s busy streets and quiet lanes to see large painting murals on walls and fences. I wouldn’t have experience this totally different tour if a friend hadn’t mentioned about this. We viewed the amazing sight of the city from 35th floor Art Gallery and learnt about the history of the city. A nice block of chocolate gift to take home. Definitely an eye opener!
Jackson was a fantastic guide! He and our wonderful driver took us to areas of Phnom Penh we never would have seen otherwise. Highly recommended!
What a wonderful introduction toCambodia. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Jackson and our lovely driver. We had two delicious food stops which gave us our first taste of Cambodian food. Then as a contrast a look at the street art which we would never have found on our own. The stories about the background of the art was very interesting. Then a visit to a local gallery and chocolate shop. An excellent way to get to know Phenom Penh.
Urban Forage was the perfect end note to my tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. Jackson was a great guide through indoor markets with tasty authentic breakfast treats, including delicious donuts; and street art, including discussions of the artists and the meanings of their work. I gained a lot of knowledge about Cambodian culture as well.
Very good morning. Jackson is a good guide and Mr Lucky is a very good tuk tuk driver. Good trip around the city to see street art. 2 local breakfasts, snack, iced coffee and a nice surprise to finish. Worth doing.
I had a really great tour with Jackson. All of the art on the trip was really interesting and lovely to see and Jackson had lots of great contextual knowledge about the art and gave lots of great insight. The food on the trip was also delicious and had vegetarian options. Jackson was very friendly and helpful and has excellent English, our driver was also lovely. I would highly recommend this trip.
We had a great time on our tour with Jackson, who was a terrific guide. The walk around BKK market was interesting and we had a delicious first breakfast there, with iced coffee, followed by yummy Cambodian donuts. Then it was off to see some street art and hear the stories behind it. Jackson is great at explaining the street art in the setting of Phnom Penh and recent history. We stopped for second breakfast at a streetside stall and that too was delicious. Overall the tour was a great way to see Phnom Penh and have some delicious local food. Highly recommended. Go with an empty stomach!!
Amazing tour. Lovely guide, great range of places to visit and the food was so exquisite. The street food was my favourite part and we ate at unassuming places I would never have found or thought to stop at. 2 of my top 5 meals in Cambodia were during this tour.
Nice morning tour, Miss Kanha is a very knowledgeable and she is a great guide, highly recommended, great fun experience.
I live in Phnom Penh and wanted to explore some part of the city I haven't seen. This trip was very cool if you are really into street art and want to learn some alternative history about the city. Great experience!
Jackson had impeccable English and was very knowledgeable. We visited a number of neighborhoods with inspiring art and delicious food. Definitely recommend!
It was a lot of fun. We visited a market and had breakfast. We had a typical Cambodian breakfast - the food tasted great. The street art and the stories behind the art were very interesting. It was fun to ride around in a tuk tuk to different parts of Phnom Pehn. Finally, last but not least, our guides Mone and Jackson were the best!!
Take this tour to see gorgeous street art, eat amazing food, and get to know a bit about Phnom Penh! Jackson walked us through a bustling local market to see all the fresh fruits, veggies, fish, and meats, and our first breakfast stop: Bánh Sung caramelized pork and coffee, followed by some donuts. Delicious! Then we were off to see amazing art in streets and alleys that we would not have found on our own, with Jackson helping us understand the story behind the art. After all this art, it was time for second breakfast of bay sach chruk, very tasty pork and rice. Listen to Jackson when he advises you to show up to the tour hungry—you’ll be eating so much delicious food! Mr Van did an awesome job driving us through the city. In fact, I wanted to see some specific sites later in the afternoon, and was happy that Mr Van agreed to drive me in his remork. I highly recommend this fun, informative and very filling tour! Almost forgot: I really appreciated Jackson’s messages before the tour ensuring that I knew when and where we’d meet, and especially liked that he included a short video so I could easily recognize him. Thanks Jackson and Mr Van!
I had a lovely day with Jamie who shared his great knowledge about cooking Khmer food and the influence of history into the streetart of Phnom Penh. Very interesting, funny and the food was amazing. I can fully recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in learning new things and has an open mind to enjoy different sides of cambodian culture.
A truly wonderful tour. Jackson has an amazing knowledge of the city, it's food and particularly the street art. Undoubtedly one of the two most impactful tours in our 17 days in Vietnam and Cambodia
Jackson was such an informed and passionate guide on the breakfast and street art tour. Not only did we have two amazing traditional street food breakfasts and see a morning market, but the street art was a unique and a very interesting side of current Cambodian dialogue. We enjoyed this tour so much we booked the evening tour with Jackson as well. Well worth the price.
Fantastic tour, a very unique experience. I’d never have found the street art without a guide, or known the meaning behind is without the background information provided. Very interesting!
I would give this tour by Urban Forage a rating of 10 if I could! Jackson, the guide, was outstanding. And Mr. Lucky our driver was charming. We started at a local market (not the central or Russian markets) and had breakfast #1. The market was incredible, with your standard food vendors to hair salons and even a fortune teller. We then rode to several alleyways with street art. And Jackson's history behind it and them all made it so much more memorable. After we stopped at a street vendor for breakfast #2 and then finished the tour off with a special surprise. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough!
We love food and we love street art! Monyca was brilliant. A fun packed 2.5 hours with hotel pick up/dropoff. We ate in the markets (twice!) snacked along the way and saw street art in places we would not have ventured. On its own, there would not have been enough art for a whole tour and hope more can be discovered in the future. Definitely recommend
Best tour in Vietnam and Cambodia: don't miss. Curated street food is the best, but a tour of local street art tells the deeper story as artists are the commentators about their own culture. Our guide Jackson was a rich resource of socio/ cultural/ culinary knowledge. And he was generous with good advice about our remaining time in Cambodia.
One of the best food tours I’ve done. Jackson was so knowledgeable and put a lot of thought and effort into arranging the stops and providing info on the artists and the art. I really felt like I was able to get a glimpse into the political history and artistic culture outside of information that is readily available to tourists. Can’t recommend enough. I came mainly for the food (which was also awesome), but the art and knowledge provided was what stood out for me.
Really pleased that once again Jackson was the guide for this tour. There were only 2 of us in the tuk-tuk with him and we had such a great and informative time. Breakfast in the BKK market was great fun and then we set off to see some street art. Some of the stories behind the paintings are really sad. We were really surprised when we arrived at Starbucks but there is a really interesting wall painting in there. As well as visiting the Kampot Pepper outlet, we had another street food experience before returning to our hotels. I do recommend this company.
I was part of a group of three and the small number made the experience very friendly as well as informative. JB was our host and he managed to tell us lots of local history and the stories behind some of the street art. The tour started with breakfast and a tour around the market before heading off to see the street art. We stopped for more food towards the end and then were taken for a surprise visit to a cocoa temple. One of the most enjoyable tours for me to date and I would highly recommend it.
Amazing tour ! Not just food tour (even if the food was delicious) but a great fun way to get to know and love Phnom Penh, its history and culture from a different angle. Ducky is a wonderful guide, passionate about Cambodia and the (underrated) city of Phnom Penh. Don't miss it !
Fascinating street art tour explaining the culture of Cambodia. We loved the food stops and trying local foods. Jackson was a great guide - very knowledgeable and friendly.
Booked a last minute morning food tour in Siem Reap the morning before we left Cambodia and had the BEST time. My friends were feeling sick so I was on the tour alone and had the best time. My guide Rorm was very knowledgeable and fun and picked very good spots to try. All the food was delicious and it was a great way to capstone my time in Siem Reap. Would definitely recommend as it was a perfect way to see a different side of Siem Reap and escape the super touristy parts.
Fantastic morning visiting places we never would have found on our own. Jackson was a brilliant guide - this tour was way more than we expected. Tasty food, really interesting art and a great guide - definitely recommend! It was everything you want from a tour - book it now!
Jackson is an amazing guide whose honesty in explaining the art opened my eyes and helped me appreciate even more this beautiful country. The markets displayed the fresh produce at its best and the food was delicious! Who doesn’t love two breakfast: and three versions of a Cambodian doughnut? And the coffee? To die for! Loved it all!
Fascinating tour with Jackson starting with breakfast and sweet treats in a local market. After that we explored some amazing street art for an understanding of local culture and local artists followed by breakfast number 2! I loved every minute and saw a side of Cambodia I would never have found.
This was the best tour and the best guide. Monyka and Mr. Lucky cared for the group and gave us a lovely experience full of stories and delicious Cambodian flavors. We could visit markets and murals that might be complicated to find. I highly recommend this tour.
We had a chance to experience the local markets, try some street food, and see some interesting street art. A great way to spend a morning. Our guide was positive and fun, spoke good English and met everyone's needs.
Jackson was a great guide. The tour was well organized and full of interesting facts about Cambodian history, culture and food. It was the second best food I had there.
Fantastic tour with Monyca! Loved sampling a variety of treats from multiple types of rice noodles and fermented rice to tasty fried taro snacks! Learning about the recent development of new urban art in Phnom Penh City was a unique perspective into the city and a great backdrop to enjoying the local food. Absolutely recommend doing a food tour early on in your Phnom Penh experience so you know what foods you want to come back and eat again during your stay in the city!
Fantastic tour one of the best of our trip. At first it seems like a random collection of stops, but seeing the local market etc and then the street art..all of which has a story, plus 2 good breakfasts was a great combo somehow. Learned things about the city and cambodia that were new and interesting . Really enjoyed Jackson, our guide.
Nice experience as we got to visit a very local market and enjoyed a nice breakfast. Our tour guide Jackson was very professional and explained the history of the graffiti arts well.
Signed up last minute and glad I did. Had a brief walk through local market just to have first breakfast and donuts. Would have like to spend a little more time walking around there, we then went to a couple places to see the street art- saw some being created in action. Interesting neighborhoods. Finally last breakfast and surprise! Loved the surprise! Maybe a little on the $$ side/ but overall was a nice morning! Tour guide Jackson was great!
What a fun morning! Started with a delicious sweet noodle breakfast then donuts!! And we were off to see murals. Jackson was a great host - enthusiastic and eager to share his love of street culture & his country. A great way to learn about how people view their world & their place in it.
