This was a very informative excursion. Cindy was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the island and current events. Also a big shout out the operators as we needed to reschedule at the last minute and they were outstanding in accommodating us. The vehicle is hey used was well kept and clean and the air conditioning was excellent. I would highly recommend Cindy and this excursion.

Our tour guide was fantastic! Just like the other reviews, this is a great way to see the island especially for first timers. We were able to customize the itinerary to our liking and skip the parts we didn’t care for. We felt completely safe and comfortable with our tour guide and the stops. Must try to the bakery and rosemary!!!

It was a fantastic tour of both sides of the island!! Our tour guide Cindy was fantastic. We stopped at a bakery called Sebastien Quillere, what a hidden gem, thank you Cindy for introducing us. The pastries were art pieces and as delicious as they looked! We met the owner who took us to meet the chef which was a pleasant surprise. We got to see and do exactly what we wanted and as little or a lot of time at each stop. It was a great day!

Cindy was an amazing guide and made our tour of St. Maarten such an enjoyable and memorable experience! She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to understand what we were interested in seeing and doing. One of the things we appreciated most was how flexible and accommodating she was. She gave us multiple options throughout the tour rather than simply following a set itinerary. When it came to choosing a beach, she explained the pros and cons of each option so we could decide what worked best for us. She also gave us so many great recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and places to visit during the rest of our stay. Cindy really went out of her way to make the experience special for our family. My parents had a special request to have fresh coconut water, and she even found a spot for us to stop and get some! It was a small detail that meant a lot to us and showed how attentive she was to what we wanted from the day. She also introduced us to some of our favorite places from the entire trip! The pastry shop (Sebastien Quillere) she took us to was one of our absolute favorites, and her recommendation for Rosemary’s was another highlight. Moses Walk ended up being our favorite experience as you cannot experience this anywhere else! Cindy made sure we stopped at beautiful and memorable places around the island and helped us make the most of our time. We never felt rushed, which we really appreciated. We were able to enjoy each stop while still seeing so much of the island. The tour met our expectations and then some. Cindy’s knowledge, personality, flexibility, and recommendations made a huge difference in our trip. We would absolutely recommend booking with her, especially toward the beginning of your vacation. We had an awesome time with Cindy taking us around the island. We learned so much history and got to see some awesome places. I think our favorite (outside of the obvious beaches) was feeding the iguanas. This is a must do as the host makes it a great day!!

We had a great day with Hakeem, exploring and learning about the island. It rained in the morning, but we made the best of it, and by early afternoon, it cleared off. We took in amazing views, ate some great food, watched the planes from blast zone, and visited the bird park. We had a blast, and Hakeem was a gracious host and adjusted the itinerary for our interests. Highly recommend!

Our guide (named Sexy) was awesome! He met us in the bus parking lot in a nice SUV with 3 rows of seating. He was very funny and accommodating. Whatever we wanted to see, we saw. We didn’t know about the monkeys on the island but he mentioned it and took us to see them. We spent some time at the beach, some time shopping, some time eating and sightseeing. I absolutely recommend Sexy as your guide, he was great as our guide. St Maarten (the friendly island) was wonderful to see. We visited St Maarten, St Thomas and the Royal Caribbean private island, if you are only doing one excursion then do it at St Maarten. The people are wonderful and the island is beautiful. Cindy was a great guide. Contoured the tour to our likes. She went as fast or as slow as we wanted. Took us to several local spots. Gave recommendations on things to do on the rest of our vacation.

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Raj (hope I’m spelling your name correctly!). He was incredibly personable, knowledgeable about the island, and made the entire tour enjoyable from start to finish. You can tell he genuinely loves sharing the history, culture, and hidden gems of the island. The van was spotless, comfortable, and ice-cold, which made a huge difference in the Caribbean heat. If you’re visiting the island, this tour is an absolute must. I highly recommend asking for Raj, you won’t be disappointed!

The Best of St Maarten Private tour was excellent! " Mama Gucci" was excellent! We saw all that St. Maarten had to offer on both the Dutch and French sides! We also received personal insight regarding the island's history and its current status as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Caribbean. In addition, "Mama Gucci" took great care to accommodate us - customizing the tour to fit our "vacation" needs. I highly recommend this tour. You will not disappointed!

We had a wonderful experience on this private tour of St. Maarten. Compared to the cruise line excursions, this was a much better option for our family because we had the flexibility to spend more time at the places we enjoyed and leave earlier from stops that interested us less. That flexibility made the day much more relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide, Cindy, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the island, its history, and the local culture. Beyond the sightseeing, we also enjoyed chatting with her about a variety of topics, which made the experience feel much more personal than a typical tour. Overall, this tour was well worth the cost, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Maarten, especially cruise passengers looking for a more customized experience. One suggestion for future guests and the tour operator: it would be helpful to establish a communication channel, such as WhatsApp, before the tour begins. That way, it's easy to stay in touch with your guide while you're on the island if plans change or you need to coordinate meeting locations.

Ms. Gucci was an amazing guide! She was always willing to stop, take our photos, and provided so much knowledge about the island she loves so much. We saw way more than we would have on an average cruise excursion. We were a family of 3 from Texas.

We had a spectacular day. Our tour guide, Cindy , listen to what we wanted to see and accommodated our requests. We like history and so she took us to see the things that had impact for us. She took us to a restaurant where we had a wonderful lunch and we got to go to both sides of the island. We had croissants from a bakery that just melted in your mouth. She was patient and full of a lot of history and good information. We stopped in places to take wonderful photos and just could enjoy the spectacular views. I highly recommend this tour company.

Our guide Cindy was fabulous. We told her what we were interested in doing and not doing and she accommodated us. We got to see the entire island and spend time at the places that interested us. We had a really good lunch and an opportunity to shop and got to see historical things.

We had an excellent experience touring St Maarten! Our Tour Guide was so friendly and helpful and made sure we were able to see and experience everything we wanted to.

Sexy was our tour guide. We learned a whole lot about the hotels and condos on the island. Not a lot about the island, history, etc. which is why we took the tour. As we talked to locals in the days after the tour, we found out that a lot of the facts he did give were incorrect. The vehicle was very small for 4 people and the two men in the back had a hard time climbing in and out of the car at each stop. The stop on the side of the road for the iguanas was probably the highlight of the tour. The tour probably would have been better with a different guide. We have done multiple tours in various countries and states and always had a great experience and tour. This one was definitely not up to the standard we have come to expect.

He was a friendly driver, not a guide. If you already know the island well and just need a flexible ride, that might work for you. But if you’re hoping to actually learn something about the destination — which is the whole point of a tour — you’ll likely be disappointed. We felt we could have rented a car and used Google Maps for less money and similar results.

What an excellent tour! Cindy was a tremendous tour guide and navigated the streets like a pro. We saw so much of the island - beaches, bird sanctuary, iguanas, French pastry and chocolate, restaurants and great view points. Very good way to see the island. Highly recommend!

This tour maximizes your time on the island. Adjust the itinerary to what you or your family are interested in. Skip what you are not interested in. The vans are new and very clean. The best part, especially with little kids is that most of the sites you get dropped off feet from the activity/attraction. Easy off, come and go as you please, and no hike to your car. It may be a bit more than a group tour but the difference in price gives you freedom and allows you to relax and go with what your kids are feeling like that day to guide what you adjust.

We wanted a tour of St Maarten both the Dutch side and the French side and we got a wonderful tour guide, Lloyd (Taxi #352). He drove so wonderful and at a nice tour pace explaining all of the history and details. He was a very careful and smooth driver which we have had so many that were not on other tours. Enjoyed the island especially Maho Beach! Recommend 10/10 for anyone who wants a great full island tour.

The van was not operating as a tour vehicle, air conditioning was malfunctioning so extremely uncomfortable for everyone, no intercom system so even the people sitting behind the driver couldn't hear what he was saying. When we stopped at Orient Bay for breakfast, none of the restaurants were open for another hour which the driver should've known. He then drove us down to where we could get breakfast so we never saw Orient Bay Beach because we ran out of time. Never showed us key places to take photo ops as stated in the ad. We stopped at the bird sanctuary which we all enjoyed but this was not listed in the stops. For the price not worth it! Additionally, we called to complain and the owner was off the island, tried several times after that and no one would take our calls.

We had a wonderful time with Uri at St Marteen on Monday April 6th. He was prompt , thorough and extremely knowledgeable about the island. His van was cool and impeccably clean. He was flexible and let us choose how we spent our time and let us eat when we were ready. He took us to Maho beach to see the planes land , Orient Beach , Bikini Beach, basically everywhere and let us get out and see the views and take pictures. Highly recommend!

Excellent guide. Mama Gucci gave us a wonderful tour of the entire island with the perfect experience for our family including grandchildren. We enjoyed a great time at Mullet Bay Beach, Mahó Beach, Fort Louis, Madison Chocolat, Iguana Farm, La Sucriere bakery in Cole Bay, and many other sights to cover the whole island. She was very knowledgeable of the island and delivered us back to the ship in plenty of time. The ride was pleasant throughout the trip.
