St. Maarten 4 Hour Sightseeing Tour

Chaos and delays at registration. cramped bus with jump seats in walkway, packed in like sardines, a pure safety hazard. Driver (Alex) provided little to no information about the island other than the available fast food restaurants and brothels. The tour was advertised as being 4 hours long was approximately 6.5 hours and had additional stops other than those advertised- the final stop being a cheese shop? Overall a very dissapointing tour and we wouldnt recommend same especially for people with reduced mobility/ no step getting out of bus and small seats The vehicle made a strange screeching noise for most of the return journey. The tour ended with the driver saying flippant comments about cannabis use on the island and nomalising drug use

Cutty n Jamol was very helpful and very informative throughout the whole tour. The Moses walk across was a nerve holding moment, the wine tasting at Toppers and cheese at Amsterdam cheese along with all the freedom fighters and national bird statues was a great sight n interesting back story. The time is worth it and I fully recommend doing this tour

Great cultural history of the island. The host was really well informed and knowledgeable. However, the tour did run over time.

Nel was awesome! The communication from the company was on point however, I was on vacation brain , after a taxi ride detour..they got us back on track! Lol We learned so much history and facts about the island and enjoyed our visit through front and back streets and even the French side and their beach. If you go to the Middle with Nel you get the perfect real life experience and it was appreciated. If you take the Moses walk add pics! We may be tourist but Nel allowed us to be Dutch side natives for a day! Thumbs up to the surprises held at Amsterdam cheese and Topper's Rhum! Ambassador Nel was a pleasure to follow your lead!

This is an ideal tour for cruisers. Our tour lasted over 5 hours. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. We stopped at several stops on the Dutch and French sides of the island. The highlights included a stop in Merigot for lunch and Maho Beach to watch planes take off and land.

Very inclusive. Tracy was very receptive to what the group wanted to do/see. We saw both “sides” of the island.

The trip covered the whole island! Mr. Cutty was friendly and informative. Maho beach was the grande finale!

Nel was great. Showed us all the sites and he was a lot of funrl while being informative.

Terrible only because Operator did NOT show up and claimed he did and refused to approve refund request. Had to go direct to Viator with supporting evidence he did not show up to get our refund request approved and honored by VIATOR,

This was our first visit to St Maarten and we wanted a brief overview of the island’s highlights. This trip was the perfect amount of time to see the major highlights on the Dutch and French sides of the island. We enjoyed our guide’s narration of the island highlights as he provided the right level of detail and history. The van was clean and comfortable. The tour provided us with some time to walk on the beach and enjoy some fresh air. We appreciated the length of time for the stops and felt the four hours was well spent. We highly recommend this tour if you are looking for an overview of the island.

We enjoyed our tour around the island and saw many well known spots. Angel was our tour guide and was very informative and a fantastic driver. He gave us quite a bit of extra time in the end. He took us to a nice local lunch spot in Marigot. The only thing that was too long was the shopping time in Philipsburg.

We were greeted with very professional young man by the name of Cutty,he was the driver and tour guide for our trip. He was very helpful, knowledgeable of the island. He was very passionate about his work experience. This was an amazing experience with the way he explained historical sites, Cutty was very friendly and informative about the scenery and land marks. Everyone on the tour was happy and joyful with the way he made us as visitors to St.Maarten for our first time. We definitely would do it all over again with this tour company. Frank was great! He was very personable, told great stories about the island gave us a bit of history, culture, and took us to some great places. He was also flexible when members of the tour were either running late or when we got tired towards the end of the tour, and he really curated the experience just for us. We highly recommend asking for Frank with St. Maarten Presidential Tours when you visit St. Maarten!

Our driver, Eddie, was very informative, safe and courteous. We especially enjoyed the Orient Bay Beach, chilling at the Bikini Beach Bar, and Maho beach, where three enormous jet planes flew over our heads and we were sand blasted by a departing jet! We also enjoyed the market at Marigot. All in all it was a fun and interesting day.

A good tour around the island of St Martin - very efficient and covered a lot of ground. The guide Cutty brought a lot of energy to the tour.

Never made this tour. Was informed less than 24 hours before tour that we had to make our way to St. Marten since we were in Anguilla. It clearly says on the booking that they will pick us up at our hotel. After researching the cost to travel to St. Maarten, the cost would be more than double the cost of the tour. Talked to the tour operator and said he would reimburse but never did. Tried to dispute with credit card company. If we had known this, we would’ve canceled before the 24 hour cancellation. Very disappointing!

This tour was fantastic! The timing and sequence of stops made for an enjoyable experience. Rollin was great and did not rush us. He explained things thoroughly and seemed to enjoy our questions.

Viator sent us to the wrong place for pickup. Viator directed us to the tour company's office 1.5km away from the cruise port only to be told to return to the cruise port. THE DIRECTIONS WERE REALLY WRONG. Tour was not a tour but a beach excursion. Everything was wrong!

Great tour. Experienced guide/driver. We now know more about the island and it's history. Good vistas too! Orient beach is so beautiful. And Marigot very lovely. You are able to walk and experience the several stops on your own.

I had a great time! Our tour guide Dawn was very informative and took us on both the French & dutch sides. He was friendly and very funny! I enjoyed the fruit punch, Oyster Pond view and the Maho experience of seeing the airplanes. I would highly recommend the tour to get a taste of popular sights.

Our driver chevelle(?) what was his name yesterday, Chevelle was the most courteous, friendly efficient driver. I’ve had in a long time and I’ve been on 71 countries. He deserves the highest praise.

You really want to get an idea of St. Martin/Sint Maarten? Definitely take the 4 hour sight seeing tour Basically, the tour does the circle around the island, including Philipsburg in Sint Maarten, Marigot in St. Martin, and a number of beaches. My tour guide/driver was friendly and knowledgeable about the entire island. Word of warning, best to slather yourself in sunblock before you go on the tour, hydrate, and seek some shade, even in December.

Our guide showed us all over the island and stopped at many points for us to experience different parts of the island and take pictures. He also gave us the option of going to his favorite beach (which wasn’t on the itinerary) on the island and it was beautiful. At Maho Beach, he gave us extra time beyond our allotted time so that we could wait to see a bigger jet. The water/soda/beer/rum punch throughout the tour was nice. Excellent tour! Excellent guide (Cuttie)! I would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Anthony was good explaining history of the Island But honestly it was boring, The van was hot and the island was disappointing. I know they had a Hurricane but i was expecting more beauty and beaches. The rum place was boring also.

The tour guide was nice enough but did not share anything about the island at all or history and when asked knew very little. He just knew to take us to the different places for us to buy stuff or look around. We expected a bit more knowledge snd explanation of what we saw. He was super nice and took photos for us but hopefully he can learn just a few facts to share along the way. People are paying to hear about the culture and history attractions not to just be driven around with no context

This tour was GREAT!!! So happy we booked it. The driver was very informative. I love hearing about the places I visit from people that live there. We had time at the beach and this tour was well worth the money!!

Curtey our tour guide was very informative of the island history , current issues the residents face and a gracious host. He was flexible with the stops as he wanted to ensure we saw his island and all it had to offer. We were also able to sneak in an extra beach which was his favourite place to bring his family. You have to trust the local knowledge! Thank you for the cold beer and tasty rum punch. This was a great way to see many part of the island and it allows you to decide to venture back for a full day to explore the sights on your own at a later part of your stay. We loved the international kiss!

We enjoyed our tour as we probably aren’t the usual people because we don’t shop. Our guide was very agreeable in avoiding photo stops and shopping stops. He really made it our tour. We saw most of the island and appreciated his information about the island and its history.

We had Shawn in the Red Rose van. He was so informative of the local history and information. He was fun and a wonderful tour guide! His cooler full of refreshments helped too! I definitely reccomend the tour and Shawn!!
