Wonderful & moving expeience. Enjoyed very much. Was fun pulling the bells
Very interesting tour - the 11:30 time is perfect. Everyone on the tour gets to try bell ringing, gets to see the 12 noon ring and then to see the bell ringing team practicing until 13:00. The guides were excellent
It was a moving experience to hear and view the Anzac Bell in Anzac Day week. Tony was knowledgeable, friendly and patient he made it an exceptional experience. We were also able to experience ringing the bells by pulling the rope from the lower floor.
The trip was very enjoyable and informative. Our guide Abigail was excellent. Good value for money.
With a few days leave up my sleeve, I decided that my husband and I would be tourists in our own city. The Bell Tower has been one of the things on our bucket list. For 25 years, we have looked at this amazing building! On our tour, we were given the opportunity to chime some bells. Well, let's just say, I don't think I will be giving up my day job any time soon. Hats off to all the bell ringers out there. Angela, our tour guide, was a delight. Full of local knowledge and snippets of information about our great city. We would highly recommend this tour for tourists and locals alike. Thank you Angela :-)
Fantastic experience, highly recommended! Our tour guide Angela was passionate and knowledgeable, this made the tour very engaging and enjoyable.
The Anzac Bell tour in Perth was absolutely fantastic and well worth the hour. Our guide, Abbey, was exceptional — knowledgeable, engaging, and brilliant at explaining the history in a way that really brought everything to life. One of the highlights was getting the chance to ring the bells, which made the experience even more memorable. The tour is rewarding, informative, and offers great photo opportunities with beautiful views. If you’re in Perth and have an hour to spare, this is highly recommended. A top‑class experience from start to finish.
All visitors to Perth should visit the Bell Tower especially those interested in the history of the bells.
Fantastic tour. Our tour guide Anna spoke very clearly and was incredibly informative about the Anzac bell centenary. Viewing the bells and exploring which metals they are made from and how they ring. Being able to ring the bells was a great experience too. Staff were so friendly and our whole family enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.
It was a wonderful experience, especially getting to ring the bells and hearing the history of it all
Great experience and our guide Jeff was full of knowledge. He guided us through a unique experience of being able to ring the bells.
We visited The Bell Tower on July 31st, 2025, and really enjoyed the tour. Our guide explained everything in detail about the history and workings of the bells. We also got to try ringing them ourselves, which was both informative and fun. We were also lucky to be there when the ANZAC Bell rang (our tour was at 11:30 AM). The sound it produces is absolutely incredible and so powerful. A truly memorable experience! Highly recommend!
A very worthwhile tour. Although the Anzac Bell extra wasn’t all that. It was definitely worthwhile going in a Thursday when the professional bell ringers were there.
Fantastic views from the tower, easy acces within, via stairs or lift, plenty of toilets that were very clean. The exhibits were very interesting without being overwhelming. The staff were very helpful, friendly and informative. Highly recommended!
Very informative tour, so much fun chiming the bells, stunning watching the ANZAC Bell ringing at noon. Wonderful experience
What an amazing place! We took the 11:30 Anzac Bell Tour with guide Jeff. A wonderfully knowledgeable person who made everyone comfortable enough to ask questions & attempt to ring the bells. After a short demonstration of how to pull the bell ropes, we all got a turn ringing one of the bells. We ended up playing a short melody on the “bells of St Martin’s in the fields” originally from the UK. When the biggest bell, the Anzac bell rang at noon we were able to watch it close up. The tour was so worth the small fee!
An interesting place to visit.. i just bought the basic bell tower experience tour ticket. Starting at the top, and working your way down, the view from the top is lovely. you can buy for a dollar, a go on the 26 bell Carillon.. Then working your way down, see the Anzac bell, The bells from St Martin in the Fields, London.
Iliana was a great guide and we actually did some bellringing, which is quite demanding on the upper body! The views of the Swan River, South Perth and Perth City from the top of the tower are impressive. The history of the bells from St Martin-in-the-Fields in London is fascinating. And the size and weight of the Anzac bell, which is rung at 12 midday, is extraordinary. Do it - even if you live in Perth!
This was fascinating to get a history of bells and bell ringing. I was on the ANZAC Bell tour. You get a short bell ringing experience together with a chance to hear the ANZAC Bell. They even give you a Bell stinger certificate. Don’t miss the observation deck on level 6 for some great views. Lovely time.
Just excellent from start to finish. One tip would be if ur planning to also visit Perth mint then do bell tour first as they give you a medallion that you can get engraved free at mint. Excellent - loved it
It was fun and interesting. The tour was great and interesting. I think seeing and learning about the ANZAC Bell was a great experience for me and my family😇😇😇
This is such a unique and amazing experience! We had so much fun and a really interesting story. Highly recommend visiting!
It's an amazing place to visit & truly unique. Desi was an awesome tour guide & a lot of fun 😁. You can not visit Perth & not visit The Bell Tower. Do yourself a favour & take the tour as well you will learn a lot 😀 thanks guys
Our tour guide Sylvia was so knowledgeable and passionate about the bell tower, the origins and the ANZAC's . Well worth a visit, would recommend.
Bell ringing is something I've always fancied trying and you get the opportunity here. Very informative and friendly guide. A great experience
My wife and I had a lovely time here. We were given a warm welcome and booked ourselves on the 1030 tour with our guide, Howard. He was excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was emotional to see the Anzac Bell and we also saw the oldest Bell in Australia (from Hampshire, England, cast in around 1550). We also had our own go at Bell ringing. The top floor views are amazing and also shouldn't be missed. It was 40c outsode, but was air conditioned inside. My only objective criticism is that maybe Howard should have a microphone as he was very softly spoken, which could be an issue for some. Highly recommend.
from start to finish we all had an Awesome experience, good information and had fun ringing the bells. the tour guide made receiving the information exciting.
We missed the Perth Explorer bus, so while waiting for the next one we decided to look at the Bell Tower. We discovered we were very lucky to be in time for the guided tour which included a chance to ring the bells ourselves and which happens only one day a month. Mike, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we were able to go inside the bell room and see all 18 bells along with the ANZAC bell. We then moved to the bell ringers room and as well as having a bell ringing demo from the actual bell ringers, were able to ring 2 of the bells ourselves. A brilliant and very unusual experience.
What an amazing tour, so informative and rich with history and charm. We saw so much and learned so much. Our guide Tony was brilliant, very knowledgeable and passionate about this gem in the centre of Perth. Super to see the ANZAC bell and other historic bells in the tower. Highly recommend going on this tour. Malcolm Green, Shipley, West Sussex.
Amazing tour. Definitely a must! Great value for money and our tour guide Tony was excellent. Fantastic experience ringing the bells. Loved it!
We, a group of five, visited the Bell Tower on 12 November. The tour guide Jeff is very informative and helpful. He tailored made his introduction to the group’s interest. The tour is very interesting and we learnt about the making and operation of the bells. To our surprise, participants can try to ring the real bells individually and together to make a rhythm. We were all thrilled by this hand on experience which Jeff told us is only available at the Bell Tower as they have the bell ringing practice. We enjoyed the tour very much and would like to thank Jeff for his wonderful hospitality.
Enjoyed the tour on Thursday 7 November with 2 others. Tony tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable and easy to ask questions of. Disappointment of the day was in fact that there was no ANZAC Coin provided. Understand that they have been out of supply for several months - replaced with a certificate. Understand price has been reduced to allow for this but not the same. However, mine was agift voucher purchased some time ago but no information about this until arriving for tour. Did make a booking on the phone 3 weeks before date no mention of no coin being provided and as for any form of refund or other item was never mentioned. Ross Oliver
We did the Anzac Tour which included a guide The guide was very knowledgeable and we were also taught how to ring the bells It’s not easy so be prepared for some physical exertion I have a new appreciation of all those bell ringers What a great tour and a unique experience
An informative tour, thanks to our guide Tony. Loved the opportunity to ring the bells. Being there to see the ANZAC bell peal at midday an awesome experience!
This tour was very informative - the guide Illiana was excellent. We enjoyed the bell ringing in a group of 7. All levels of the tower are worth visiting either take the stairs or lift and the view from the top was beautiful. Definitely recommend to everyone
Tony was an excellent guide. We greatly enjoyed his presentation on the bells and the ANZAC history. It was entertaining and ringing the bells was definitely fun! We didn't know what to expect of this tour but it was well above expectations! Recommend for all ages.
Tony was our guide on this very informative look at the bells in the Bell Tower. Our group was given the opportunity to ring the bells before going to the viewing platform to watch the ringing of the Anzac Bell. At the top level of the tower we were presented with a cetificate for bell ringing and a commemorative Perth Mint coin which we were able to get engraved for free at the Perth Mint. Thanks to the very friendly and personable staff who looked after us and shared their knowledge and experience. A great experience.
We had a fabulous tour at the Bell Tower today. We chose the 11:30am Thursday tour to see the bell ringers in action, which was great, but the unexpected highlight was seeing the massive Anzac Bell toll at noon - it was amazing! Sylvia was our guide and she was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed having the chance to ring the bells ourselves and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Anzac medal included in this tour. Thoroughly recommend!
1, people were still allowed to buy tickets and enter the 1:30pm session up to 8 minutes after the tour started. People had to stand as there wasn’t enough chairs set out. The person doing the tour advised they didn’t know a great deal about the tower, this was Indicative as the experience was extremely unorganised and the session had no cohesion. The tour guides English was terrible, inaudible and proceeded to talk in another language to other people on the tour. The bell ringing was a disaster, poorly organised and delivered.
What an amazing experience to learn about the history of all 19 bells then have the opportunity to ring some of the bells from St Martin-in-the-fields London. Geoff is a very knowledgeable guide, and answered all of our questions. To hear the ANZAC bell chime at 12pm is a wonderful experience, followed by the real bell chimers.
The male guide was so informative, outgoing and friendly. Engaged with everyone, involvement was the key. A truly amazing experience when given the opportunity of ringing the bell itself.
A full tour of the tower. Into the bellringers area to have a go at chiming the bells (not qualified to do any bell ringing) . Ventured upstairs (via the lift) to see the ANZAC bell in action. Witnessed the bells being rung by the bellringers. Great 360° view of the city from the observation area. All guided by a knowledgeable staff member. It was great.
Such a great tour today. Our guide “Geoff” was excellent. The children were really into it and everyone on the tour were invited to ring the bells and take photos. Really good value too. Be sure to book and arrive early. You won’t want to leave in a hurry.
Jeff was an excellent tour guide, this experience was very unique and is a must to do in Perth. We learnt so much history behind the monarchs bells etc, and the experience of ringing the bells was also exciting!
A wonderful time for a family of five, with three young adults. Much more varied than you would think. Bell ringing with Angela a highlight!
The Bell Tower is a must see while here in Perth. Our tour guide Alice was amazing. To be there when the Anzac Bell rings was very moving. We also got the chance to ring the bells before the real bell ringers came in and did their thing amazing spot.
A nice short visit that can be fitted in while you are already at Elizabeth Quay. Howard was my guide and his dry sense of humour was greatly appreciated and made my visit memorable. Thank you for a great visit. Definitely worth stopping in.
A fascinating tower with an interesting history. The bells are clearly the central attraction, but the views from the top are also worthwhile. Being able to toll the bells was also fun and the guide gave lots of interesting facts about the peel.
good morning with Harold as our guide he does a good job worth the visit. The history of the bells was very interesting and how they made their way to our shores. Loved the bells at top of tower and turns they played, very clever.
