Swan Valley Winery Experience - Full Day Coach Tour

We did a few wine tours whilst travelling around WA. This one was the best by far!

If you’re thinking about booking with Out & About Wine Tours—do it! We took the full-day Swan Valley tour and had an absolute ball. Convenient pick-up, informative commentary, and an amazing mix of wineries ranging from big-name spots to intimate, family-run operations. Tried a huge variety of wines that catered brilliantly to both novice tasters and wine lovers alike. Our guide and owner, Claude, is an absolute gem. He’s sharp, hilarious, and makes sure every single person feels looked after. He knew all our names from the moment we stepped on board! It felt like a tour run by family—including a huge shoutout to his wife working her magic behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. The day flew by (mostly because our group got along so ridiculously well!) and we were so sad when it ended. 5 stars all round!

Had a fantastic time, Claude is a gem. Visited 5 places, every place you had so many options and so many refills of wine. Only one mainstream vineyard, the rest smaller family owned. All great wine, cheese, and chocolate!!!

We had such a great day! Our tour guide was absolutely hilarious, had the best banter, and was so knowledgeable about the wines and the Swan Valley. He made the whole experience so enjoyable and entertaining from start to finish. Such a great atmosphere, plenty of laughs, and a fantastic way to spend the day. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun day out! 🍷

Claude is the best. Funny, informative but keeps things moving and best of all. Doesn’t take S#*t, I would know, I’m the type to over enjoy myself and he respectfully pulled us into line and made nothing but fair requests. I will be back and I’m sure he will chuckle and say “not you again”. Great tour. Pay the money, enjoy the experience and listen to the guide. Love from the local Ellenbrookian Aussie and the Texan.

Claude was an amazing tour guide and bus driver. He remembered everyone’s names and got the know everyone on the tour. We saw a good amount of winery’s, a brewery and ended at the chocolate factory. Definitely worth the value. Would recommend to everyone I know.

Claude our tour guide and bus driver was the best! So personable. Met such amazing people. Drank some good wine and ate some good chocolate. Love that lunch is included.

What can I say except this was the most wonderful day spent with good friends and our awesome guide Claude. Claude was an expert on the regions history and the wineries. Nothing was to big or to small for Claude to help us with. The wines and foods from the region were delectable and with Claude’s helping knowledge there was no end to how wonderful this experience was. Thank you Claude, you made us feel like you have known us forever and an old friend. Highly appreciated and recommended.

Where do I start? Claude - is just the most amazing host. He made us feel welcome, like part of the Swan Valley Family. His knowledge, humour and shenanigans were greatly appreciated in assisting with a relaxing although fun filled day. Great wine, food and company... what more could you ask for. A laid back day full of enjoyment and laughter. No pressure to purchase although how can you help yourself with what's on offer? Just book, you will not regret it!

The tour was awesome. We picked this for our anniversary and couldn't be happier. The guide's super charismatic, the wine selection's superb and well-rounded, and there were great lunch options.

Got a bit confused with pickup time on website but got an uber and joined group at the first stop. All good. Excellent day. Claude was brilliant - encyclopaedic knowledge! Very funny man. I had never really heard of the Swan Valley but ended up buying three cases of wine! Highly recommend.

Excellent Swan Valley Experience We had a fantastic day on the Swan Valley Full Day Winery Experience. Claude was an excellent driver and guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humour. He made the whole day relaxed, enjoyable, and memorable. The wineries were well chosen, with a great variety of wines, and we really enjoyed learning more about the Swan Valley. The brewery and chocolate factory were also wonderful additions to the tour.

A great Winery Experience in Swan Valley which is only 30 mins from Perth City. Visited 4 Wineries and 1 Brewery and 1 Chocolate Shop with lunch included. Claude .. the guide is a fun loving and knowledgeable man. A MUST for wine lover who are in Perth for holiday !

Honestly the most amazing trip I’ve ever done. Been in Perth the past year and saved this trip to do with my bestfriend who I haven’t seen in a year. From start to finish was absolutely amazing. I’ve been on a tour with Claude a few times now and it never disappoints. Great day out visiting a selection of large and small vineyards, a brewery and chocolate tasting. Claude is a fantastic guide. A great hot lunch is also included, very good value and fun.

The swam valley vineyards are beautiful. Im hardly a drinker but came to the wineyard tour and found myself enjoying the whole experience from tasting wine ,cheese, relish, gourmet lunchan and cocoatwOur tour claude was friendly l

Prompt, description was exact to experience, nice variety of boutique vs large mainstream, managed time per visit well, great local knowledge of wineries and local area, history. Nice touch at end with micro brewery and chocolate shop to wrap up day. Claude was very personable, and read the group well. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Out & About organised a perfect day out for my colleagues and I. The venues and quality of product was exceptional, they were able to accomodate all requests, and our driver and guide Bill was perfect the whole day. The food for lunch was also extremely good. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company.

We had such an amazing time on this wine tasting tour. Claude was fantastic, so funny, knowledgeable, and really made the whole experience. The group size was perfect; being a smaller group meant everyone got to know each other and it felt much more personal. We visited a great selection of wineries and got to try plenty of amazing wines. The whole day was so well organised and it was excellent value for money. Would highly recommend this tour, we had the best time!

The bus was late due to an accident- no Fault of the driver but it did make the day feel rushed and lunch when we got there seemed to have been sitting and waiting for us for a while. I didn’t expect pub fare but that’s what we got. Don’t expect much of a guided tour- Bill (our driver) was mostly just the driver and didn’t provide very much commentary- which if you don’t care for that won’t matter! Otherwise, the Lancaster winery (first stop) was exceptional. Setting, the wines, cheese board and the info provided by the owner who directed our tasting. Best part of the day! Last stop was chocolate- bit gimmicky and feared for shopping mostly. It was ok overall.

It was fun day trip with plenty of experiences and a nice small group. Lots of lively wines with the right level of explations.

Visited Lancaster, Windy creek, Sandalford and Heafod glen wineries in the Swan Valley. We also stopped at Valley social for a beer tasting followed by chocolate tasting at a branch of the Margaret river Chocolate co. Claude was a great guide, very knowledgable and made sure every one in the group felt included. I can highly recommend this for a solo traveller a great scenic and wine tasting experience of the Swan valley.

We had an amazing day with my cousin, we would love to do it again, the tour was great and Claude our driver was so friendly and made the tour way better than expected. Ask for Claude as your driver cause he’ll definitely make your day better! 10/10

Absolutely best guided wine tour I've been on in Australia! Claude was knowledgeable, detailed and completely engaging throughout the whole day. The biggest standout for me was how Claude was greeted like an old friend or family member at every location we visited, a real class act as far as we were concerned. The wineries were perfectly selected to represent the culture and history of the Swan Valley region and couldnt be faulted. Tasting selections were high quality and generous. Food was plentiful and exceptional. Excellent value and and excellent day. 100% recommend.
