Swan Valley Wine Tour - Half Day Afternoon

The wineries were very nice but driver and guide kept to himself. Limited commentary and just left to go into places on our own

It was a short but fruitful afternoon! We visited three wineries and one gin distillery, and stopped by a chocolate shop at the end. The views were great, and the wine was delicious! Please bear in mind that the last stop, Twin Hills, doesn’t have sparkling wine, so if you like the sparkling Shiraz at Olive Farm, make sure to buy it there. The chilli tomato relish at Twin Hills was so good that I bought a jar :)

Super fun tour that I would recommend to others. Lovely, engaging venues for the most part. Especially the first two wine venues and the gin distillery. The only part that was a challenge was finding the pick up point at the start of the tour, instructions could have been clearer. Overall, a great time was had by all (we all were smashed by the end).

Our guide Sue was fantastic. She made sure we had an excellent experience at each venue we visited. The 3 vineyards we visited were all very individual. Very good value for money

It was such a lovely day. Sue our tour guide was so friendly and shared so much information on the Swan Valley region and Perth. All the places we visited were great and the staff friendly

An enjoyable experience focussing on very good wines looand gin tasting and a chocolate and gift shop. Shared platters of cheeses and jams also deslish.

I didn’t get the exact meet up point on my email, I arrived earlier than the departure time and tried to call and send email to reach out but I didn’t get any response. I asked for a refund it got declined. Although I was really looking forward for the trip, quite disappointed.

Great tour. Would've preferred to have 2 x wine tastings and an in-depth commentary of the wine-making process from harvesting to bottling

I had an absolutely fantastic time on this wine tour! We visited three wineries, one gin distillery, and a chocolate shop—such a great variety and incredible value for money. I'd highly recommend joining the tour to save time on transportation and, of course, so you can enjoy the tastings without worrying about driving. The atmosphere throughout the day was wonderful, and it was a great opportunity to connect and chat with fellow travelers from around the world. A special shout-out to our driver, Sue, who was incredibly helpful, punctual, and professional from start to finish. She made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a 5-star experience!

An excellent experience throughout. Sue was a first class host and we visited three very different but highly enjoyable vineyards. A further highlight was the visit to the Sin Gin Distillery where the host demonstrated his passion for gin while plying us with some excellent samples. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience and our guide Sue was so knowledgeable and engaging. The 3 wineries we visited offered a wonderful selection of wines however we would have liked more detailed information about the wines we were drinking. Overall a most enjoyable experience and we would definitely recommend!

We tasted various wines, more than enough and it was up to you whether or not you wanted to taste more than one. Loved the variety.

I’m not one to really write reviews but this trip was amazing and worth every penny. Our guide, Sue, was fab! You got to taste so many different wines at 3 different locations, it was a great afternoon. I went solo which I was initially nervous about but I met some lovely people who made me feel really welcome - including Sue herself.

Half day of really fun wine, gin and chocolate tasting! Very accessible from Perth and back in the city in time for dinner

Our group of six joined the tour on November 3. After boarding the bus to leave the distillery, the tour guide, Barry, prevented one of my friend from getting on, claiming that he looked unwell and might vomit. We were given two options: leave my friend alone at the distillery or have the entire group disembark. In the end, we all left the bus, just as the distillery was closing. We were left waiting on the roadside for an Uber to pick us up. The tour guide abandoned us based solely on his assumption, without raising any concerns earlier at the distillery. This was an absolutely terrible experience.

Great half day tour. Very short bus ride and enough time to try many different wines and little snacks. Barry, our driver was fantastic and I learned a lot from him.

A wonderful afternoon tasting wines from 3 wineries followed by a small gin distillery and a chocolatier. A great sample of what Swan Valley can offer. Sue was a wonderful guide with a very interesting way to simplify WA and Swan Valley history. Absolutely recommend this tour.

Pick up was 40mins late which we understand things happen. But the whole tour was rushed as I assume the driver needed to be back at same time. Was not as enjoyable as the many other tours we have done of swan valley. Felt stressed

Our guide Sue was amazing and very knowledgeable and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Learnt a lot I didn't know before about the vineyards and the priducts and this was purely down to the information shared with all on the trip.

Yes very informative lovely choice of wines and cheeses. Hosts had a lot of knowledgeable information regarding the different wines to taste.

We booked this tour hoping to see a little more of Perth in our time there and it did not disappoint. Sue, our guide was amazing, knowledgeable and up for a laugh. The 3 wineries we visited were all different to each other but beautiful in their own right. The wines were yummy and the cheese board was delicious. The standout was Tyler's wines, I hope future parties get to attend this little gem. It truly felt like we were in their home/backyard. Pick up and drop off was a breeze. What a great day out!

Sue was a star. We visited 3 diverse wineries, a gin distillery and a chocolate factory. The wineries worked because they were very different. Laid back Australian, low quantity bespoke European style winery and the classic wedding venue / high end restaurant. We received around 10 tastings of winery- with more available and cheese and crackers to share at each venue. The gin distillery was good fun and the unexpected pleasure was the really good quality chocolate place. Sue kept us on point with her superb organisation skills, safe driving and knowledgeable commentary. She was excellent. Having participated in (too) many wine tastings this one was most enjoyable and excellent value. Thanks Sue - you were superb.

A great afternoon out at a few excellent small vineyards/distilleries with a small group. The tour leaves the city behind and you are quickly driving through Riverland and farms, while learning a little about the reason why the area was settled. Our tour guide, Arnold, was lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed hearing a little bit of local history of the Swan Valley region. Our group had interstate visitors, as well as travellers from Singapore, Brasília, Switzerland and England. The wineries visited offered excellent selections and we found that we enjoyed many of the varieties offered. The individual hosts were friendly and knowledgeable, and on the day of our tour, two of the growers also provided delicious cheese platters to accompany their wines. We also visited a distillery and sampled some great infused gins., and a chocolate factory. We really enjoyed the afternoon, bought a few bottles to have now and also take home. Lunch was not included, so either bring a snack or have a late breakfast. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it. Beautiful wine was a lot closer than the Margaret River!

Great overview of the Swan Valley with Sue leading in a very friendly manner. Good variety of quality vineyards & other attractions. Cannot rate any higher & a really great half day tour.

The visit to the distillery added a spirited twist to the itinerary, and the final stop at the chocolate shop was a delightful way to end the day—sweet, indulgent, and thoroughly enjoyable. Overall, the tour was a perfect blend of safety, engagement, quality, and charm. Highly recommended!

Nice selection of vineyards. Comfortable van. Plus good crowd. Lucky me. Distillery was awesome. Chocolate factory was also above average.

It was a good way to spend an afternoon. However if people are late for pick ups then there’s less time at the 1st winery which cut our tastings. Overall Barry was good & it was enjoyable

We did a half day wine tour and it was excellent. Our tour guide, Sue, was amazing. She was very personable and professional. She kept us on schedule. The size of the group, 11, was perfect. The wineries were great. I highly recommend this tour.

Well organised trip to the Swan Valley. Visited 3 wineries a gin distillery and a chocolate producer. All very good. I would like to thank Sue, our friendly, helpful and informative tour guide, and to everyone on the tour who helped make it such an enjoyable experience.

What a wonderful day in Swan Valley and Black Swan and Mark were amazing guides. And they took us to small gems where the experience was up close, personal and fun! Don't go for the "big" tour companies. We highly recommend Mark and Black Swan. Mark not only lives and works in the valley, but he is well known and liked!

Melita was cheerful, funny, personable and very professional with the ability to set a framework timing requirements and "rules" without being heavy handed. She was knowledgeable and it was a great day overall with experiencing numerous wineries

What a lovely experience visiting these 3 different vineyards. Each one offered something different in the way of wines & ambience. The 2 cheeseboards were a nice touch as well. In addition there were trip 's to a gin & chocolate factory. these just added to the experience. Our host for the day was Sue who was 1st class throughout. She was friendly , professional and provided detail & local history /knowledge on every aspect of our excursion. I would 100% recommend this trip , very enjoyable & good value trip. Dave M

The tour was 10/10 - beautiful vineyards and delicious wine. Sue our tour guide was friendly, full of knowledge and couldn’t do enough for the group. If you’re in Perth I would definitely recommend this tour! Only complaint is we didn’t do the full day one!!☺️☺️

We had a fantastic tour guide, Sue who took us to Twin Hill, Olive Farm, Nikola Estate wineries. We also stopped at Sin Gin distillery and Whistlers chocolate factory. Whilst we enjoyed the half day tour, it would have been nice to have a bit longer at one of the wineries for a proper lunch as the cheeseboard included was not enough to sustain a large group of people (2 small platters amongst 18 people) and there wasn’t any other opportunities to purchase food.
