Swan Valley Wine Tour - Full Day

Sue, she is a fantastic guide. And all those wine and gin we had possibly to try. I will really recommend this tour for all wine lovers.

We had an absolutely wonderful day, thoroughly enjoyed and our Tour Guide, Peter, was a blast! Cannot recommend this tour more.

A wonderful day visiting great wineries, tapas bar, gin distillery and chocolate maker. The food choices were delicious. The standout for me was the Sun Gin distillery Our guide, Peter, was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Friendly and knowledgeable driver. Vineyards were beautiful and diverse with one being rustic with fine wines in a rural setting and a second was elegant with equally delicious wine. The gin experience was fun and tasty as was lunch. Overall a really satisfying experience

It is a great day out. Lots of wine tastings and wine knowledge gained. Also lots of great food. Lots of interesting people on the tour.

One of the best Wine tours we’ve done. Good quality wineries along with some good brewery/cidery and the usual Swan Valley regular haunts like the Choc factory. Wes, our driver, was a great bloke and we were lucky to have a great group. Great days fun overall.

Sue is definitely the most amazing coordinator ever. I joined solo and she was really caring and genuine so I enjoyed a lot! And all the wines were bery tasty. Thank you so much:)

Full Day out in the air-conditioned coach with our driver / guide - Sean/Shaun. This is a really good day out, which I would definitely recommend. We visited 4 wineries where we tasted 5 or 6 wines at each. We also had lunch at Mandoon brewery and a visit to the Margaret River Chocolate Company, finishing the day with a further brewery visit. Each wine tasting is only a small quantity but after you've had 20 tastes on a hot day the visit can be a little overwhelming, you definitely need to pace yourself! You get about 45 minutes at each winery so the only drawback is that it is done at quite a pace.

Fantastic value for money tour. Plenty of tastings and a very nice lunch. All of the hosts were friendly and knowledgeable and most were small businesses.

I really enjoyed visiting the gin distillery and learning about the flavors they offered. Each stop was unique and very informative

What a brilliant day in Swan Valley. This tour was truly the best. We were blessed by a fabulous tour guide/driver Barrie and a great crowd of people of all ages and backgrounds. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

Nice small group tour that included three wineries, gin distillery and chocolate shop. Driving to and from the pickup/dropoff point was not too long. The included lunch was very good. Great activity for a solo traveler.

Grace was a great tour guide. Her knowledge and sense of fun was a good mix. The venues were well organized and enough time to experience each one. The lunch was great too.

Barry our driver was great. Small group tour - just 5 of us. Visited 3 boutique vineyards, lunch, gin distillery and chocolate store. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

This activity was cancelled last minute. Poor service with regards to refund policies. If operator has cancelled the activity it should be the operator that needs to coordinate with provider regarding refunding customers.

We had a magnificent sunny day for our winery tour! Sue was a fabulous host and driver, taking us to 3 beautiful wineries and keeping us on schedule. It was great to sample the local wines, particularly the ones who only sell at their cellar door, and learn about the history of the vines and region. Definitely recommend!

Sue & CC from Black Swan Tours were amazing. Our group of 9 were rowdy but respectful. We meet up with the other 9 passengers from Cairns, Singapore and Victoria and have made some new friends. The winery's we visited were amazing the views were breath taking and the wine was was top shelf. Sin Gin was top notch and the chocolate factory finished our day off beautifully. The history of the Swan Valley and the winery's was so informative it is definitely history we will never forget. I highly recommend Black Swan tours and i will definitely be bringing more customer from the east.

Excellent small party tour (8 on bus). Unrushed and great/knowledgeable driver/tour guide (Arnold). The wineries, gin distillery and chocolate shop we visited were great for tastings. Lunch was good and the cheese platter too. Highly recommended.

Arnold was a great host from start to finish. Great variety of wineries, with each host being super accommodating and lovely to deal with. Lunch at The Tapas Bar was delicious. Great day had by all.

Full experience of several different wineries, SinGin distillery, Perth Chocolate Factory, and on time pickup and drop off. Sue, from Canada, knows the tours and Australia, and is a wonderful presenter with light and sometimes humourous banter.Our group of 6 got along famously, in part because of Sue's interaction with us. Excellent value for money particularly with our small 10 person group. Arnold was our non-intrusive driver/guide who made everyone feel welcome. A particularly outstanding lunch included washed down with a nice wine.

We arrived at our bus stop a bit early, hoping we were waiting in the right place but we need not have worried as two other couples turned up as well! A white mini bus arrived on time and a very friendly driver jumped up to introduce himself as Barry. He was incredibly knowledgeable throughout our journey to Swan Valley, showing us various points of interest all given with a brilliant sense of humour! There were only six of us on board, which made the trip very intimate, we all had a great laugh! Our first stop off was at Twin Hill winery, where a very helpful lady called Robyn offered us all several tastings of various wines together with lots of delicious cheeses and biscuits! Our next stop was at Old Vine winery. Here we had more wine tastings and each was given with an incredibly detailed description of how each one was blended to produce the different wines. Some we liked, some we didn’t but it really didn’t matter as long as we were all having an enjoyable experience, learning along the way! We had all chosen our lunch choices whilst on the bus and this was served at the restaurant next door. It was described as Tapas but not as we know it. However, after all the wine we’d drunk, any food was most welcome and needed! The Gin distillery was next and again who knew how many different types of gin there were! Fantastic experience! Last stop was our favourite…..the chocolate factory. Had to buy some of course! This topped off what turned out to be an amazing experience made even better by our brilliant guide Barry who made sure we all had an amazing day. Well worth every penny/dollar!!!

Loved the 1st vinyard we went to which had been in the same family for 4 generations, the cheese and olive platter was delish, next call was at a very commercial, automated vinyard and you could really see the difference, both good. We also visited a gin distillery which was interesting. Barry are guide was very informative and friendly. Would recommend

Barry, our driver/guide made the day for us. He was friendly and had a great sense of humour. Small group of 12 was a bonus. Lunch at the Tapas Bar was wonderful. Good range of venues and tastings.

Sue expertly shepherded our group of9 around 3 fantastic vineyards all contrasting one another. Also enjoyed the stops at the gin distillery and the Whistlers chocolate shop

Our tour guide was Sue and she did a fantastic job! We visited 3 wineries, a gin distillery and a chocolate shop. We all enjoyed an included lovely lunch at Olive Farm Wines. We were in a small group of 10 and they were a fun group of people to spend the day with. We had someone from Brazil, Thailand, Singapore, UK, America and fellow Aussies. The tour was excellent value for the price. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Sue picked us up from the Swan Valley Visitors Centre right on time and from there we visited 3 diverse wineries, a gin distillery and a chocolatier. At the first winery we also received a generous cheese platter and I couldn’t resist buying one of the cheeses and some local olives as well as a bottle of their wine. We had a delicious lunch at a tapas restaurant - I had crocodile gumbo with Turkish toast. Then we visited Australia’s 2nd biggest winery and finally a gin distillery which was a lot of fun. On our way back we had a chocolate tasting and I noticed almost everyone got back on the bus with purchases from there. As well as chocolates there were many affordable gifts and souvenirs on offer. Sue gave us plenty of time at all the places we went to and as we were a small group of about 12, the personal interaction made for a lot of laughs as the day progressed. I would thoroughly recommend this full day tour.

The pick uo location was very centrally located. Our guide was funny and selected great wineries for us to tour. Lunch was very good.

I booked a full day Swan Valley wine tour on a Tuesday when my mother and I were holidaying in Perth. We visited three different wineries and a gin distillery on this tour where we enjoyed several delicious tastings throughout the day. Our small group enjoyed lunch at a restaurant that was close to one of the wineries, and the (chocolate-covered) cherry on top at the end of the day was that we got to visit Whistler's Chocolate Company and Cafe to purchase some tasty chocolate-covered pretzels and jelly snakes. All of the wineries we visited on this tour were fabulous. I particularly liked Lancaster Wines and enjoying a cheeseboard and grazing platter there while tasting their many beautiful wines. I even bought a bottle of rose from there! I also enjoyed visiting Nikola Estate and seeing the gorgeous grounds at this winery. I'd 100% recommend this tour for couples and friends looking to taste some of the best wines, gins and chocolate the Swan Valley has to offer.

Great experience in going to various wineries of Swan Valley and other sights plus great food! Would go again to more wineries if possible

Excellent day out. Our bus held 12 people and we were 4 of them. With a smaller group the wine tour felt more personal and private. Each wine tour was amazing and the drive through the swan area was gorgeous. Thank you Sue for dealing with us Drunken Queenslanders!

Sue our guide really looked after us. We did 3 cellar doors, gin distillery and a Chocolate factory. Beautiful lunch and cheese platter was included. Highly recommend this tour with great local knowledge.

All the places we visited were very interesting with generous sampling of produce & the people friendly. The lunch was delicious and likewise the cheeseboard! Everyone was so friendly and you were not put under pressure to purchase even though we did lol. Great day out would highly recommend.

A fantastic day out. Claude did an awesome job as our tour guide. we went to small boutique as well as larger wineries. Would definitely recommend and will do it again.

Our wonderful driver and guide for the day, Sue, picked us up on time from the tourist bus stop in Perth. There were just three of us, as three others had cancelled last minute. The third person was a lovely lady we'd met on our tour of the Pinnacles a few days before. This made for a very close knit group who enjoyed a great day out together. The varied wineries we visited promoted their products very well and we enjoyed all the samples on offer. Sue gave us good information as we travelled around and it felt like a family day out. The lunch was very tasty, do try the crocodile gumbo if you get the chance, delicious. The gin distillery and chocolate warehouse finished of a super day out and Sue dropped us safely back to our starting point at the end off it. Enjoy and I hope you get Sue as your guide.

Lovely experience overall. Mark had contacted us before the tour and pickup was smooth. Went to 3 wineries, a chocolate liquer tasting and shopping and ended off with a Gin distillery. Atmosphere was really light, had a good chat with the group!
