Swan Valley Half Day Wine Tour From Perth

This was the best tour I have ever been on. From the tour guide Peter, to the wonderful wineries we visited were amazing. It was the one of my favourite days of this trip and will be my favourite excursion I have even done. Thank’s to everyone who made this so incredible!!!

Had a wonderful time in Swan Valley! Our group were fun and friendly, and together with our guide, Peter, it was fantastic! The entire journey was very smooth and comfortable and Peter took care of everything. All we had to do was to drink, eat, chill and make new friends. Highly recommend this tour

We had a ladies day in the Valley. We were on the bus with Peter, who was wonderful the way he looked after us, and explained each stop. Thank you for the experience, we plan to redo it again in Autumn.

Franz was amazing, a great tour guide. Wineries visited were wonderful and the serving staff were also great. We were 2 Aussie oldies with 14 beautiful young Asian travellers who were delightful. Highly recommend for value for money and a fabulous afternoon out.

This was a great tour with a lot of fun and some great wine tastings. Our.driver, France, was the best! He took great care of us, had a great sense of humor, and was gentle in his nudges (to keep us on track and time)! This was well worth the money and an afternoon of time.

Overall it was a nice day, however there is definitely room for improvement. The main disappointment was the food provided. The 'gourmet cheese board to share' was 4 blocks of cheese and some crackers to be shared between 17 people. It was very sparse and also in my opinion not the most hygienic way to serve food to a large group. This also came at the 3rd winery at which point I feel most people were very hungry. The hot chips served at the brewery were a few very small bowls of chips shared among the group. My partner and I ended up ordering our own at the venue. The wineries we visited were nice, however with the exception of Nikola Estate the tastings could have been better. Very little explantion about the wines or attention to our group in general. We stood at the bar in Mandoon- the type of wine was shouted from behind the bar then the lady would go tend to another customer at the bar and would return again a few minutes later to pour another wine. Overall it wasnt a terrible day out but definitely a bit disappointing.

Great experience and wonderful wine. The people that we met were a blast to spend time with, meet, and chat with. Barrie was an amazing host and had great stories about the surrounding land history. We had a wonderful time learning about the history of Perth and developing palates in swan valley. Highly recommend even for those that believe they don’t enjoy wine as the time spent getting to know new people is well worth the money spent!

The tour guide/driver was excellent, it was easy to sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful vineyards, tasty drinks, and good company. The meeting spot was easy to find based on the messages from the tour operator, with the bus marked. Ride was smooth and comfy. The tour included stops at multiple wineries, plus a chocolatier and a craft brewer, so there was great variety.

I booked my he wine tour as solo traveller. I had such a good time, out guide was so nice and helpful. Highly recommended

Fabulous 1/2 day wine tour! We liked Ron, our guide a lot. His driving and narration were excellent. We enjoyed the 3 wineries that we stopped at as well as the chocolates, liqueurs and beers that we sampled. Ron also had a special cake and celebration for a guest's birthday at the brewery.

Loved this tour! Plenty of wine to taste and a good selection of vineyards to visit. 5 different locations on this 1/2 day tour which is plenty. Frans our driver was great - what a gent! Looked after us so well. I really enjoyed this experience!

Fun day out! 🍷 We visited three wineries — my favourite being Lancaster Wines, a small boutique winery. Amanda, who looked after us, was simply amazing. We also stopped by a chocolate shop and a bar that served beer for the non-wine drinkers. Best of all, these wineries are just a short distance from Perth city. We had a lovely, easy-going tour guide, Phil — we never once felt rushed. Great crew on board our bus - we were all best friends on the way home! Such a great day!

Had an amazing day on Saturday for the wine tour, the whole day was smooth sailing along with a super friendly host drew. We were brought to great locations and would definitely book again.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with this wine tour company! From start to finish everything was perfectly organised, relaxed, and so enjoyable. The itinerary was well thought out, the wineries were stunning, and the wines were exceptional. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and we never felt rushed and were able to truly enjoy each stop. It was the perfect mix of luxury, learning, and laughter. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free wine tour experience — we’ll definitely be booking again!

Was amazing, down to earth. Interactive, couldn’t fault anything. Perfect day. So many different wines and chocolate. Everyone was different nationalities but so friendly.

Very enjoyable day out - Wes our tour guide made the day he was excellent and added to the fun with a great sense of humor! Will definitely do the day again soon and highly recommend.

We had a great tour around the wineries of the Swan Vally , and our Driver (Grace) was so good!! She was so friendly and knowledgeable, it realy made all of the difference.

Fantastic young energetic blonde tour leader, can’t remember her name unfortunately but she was wonderful, stories and insights into the history and viniculture of the area. Lots of tastings at 3 vineyards, a brewery and chocolate factory.

Great tour in the Swan Valley, visiting 3 different wineries, a brewery and the chocolate factory. Convenient pickup location outside a small cafe. Our driver Simon was friendly and accommodating throughout the tour. The bus was a 25 seater Rosa large enough for the tour group. Thanks again. Adrian

The tour was amazing, highly recommend. Great tour guide, everything ran smoothly and the wineries were all fantastic.

I consider this was excellent value. Our driver/tour guide, Ron, was an affable host who demonstrated good local knowledge of the area and had an excellent rapport with the establishments visited. We visited 3 wineries, one which was a family owned business where apart from the five complimentary wines tasted I was able to purchase a dozen delicious Coffin Bay oysters cheaper than I had at a visit the source in January! Purchased some wines at this venue. The visit to the Chocolate Factory included a separate section for adults to taste chocolate liquours, (had to have a couple of those!) The variety of chocolates on sale in the factory was extensive. The final visit for the tour was at a craft brewery for beer tasting and hot chips. The half day tour timing was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

Everybody gelled and got on and it was a great atmosphere I were plenty of samples and the whole day was great thank you.

We had a great experience in Swan Valley on Saturday afternoon. Our tour guide was really good—friendly, kind, and charming. He made our experience stress-free and enjoyable.

It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon, tasting many different wines and meeting new people. We were in a very small group and that made it perfect. Each winery offered a different experience and that kept it interesting.

Firstly, would like to give a shout out to Taryn in the office who was extremely helpful with booking myself and my partner on to this tour. The half day tour was actually perfect for us and with a convenient 12.20pm City pick up - coming from NOR, it gave us plenty of time to get to the City, grab some lunch and then head on tour. 2nd thanks has to go to our amazing tour guide - Wes. Not only very knowledgeable on the area but went above and beyond on our tour when one of the passengers left their phone at one of the stops. He dropped us off at the next location and then took the passenger back to the previous location to pick up phone. This was so not to cause disruption to the rest of the tour for the remaining passengers. The locations we stopped at were: - Nikola Estate: A very nice location with a stunning little chapel located on the grounds. The lady doing our tastings was knowledgeable and spoke to each little group individually. There was no hard selling however, could have been useful instead to speak to the whole group as a whole and mention prices/specials in place etc. - Mandoon Estate: A very popular winery and was busier than Nikola Estate but the team here had everything set up ready for us. The ladies doing our tastings were very welcoming and knowledgeable. - Lancaster Wines: This was the last winery on our tour. Everything was set up outside ready for us along with crackers and a lovely selection of cheeses. It may have been useful to have the cheese divided up onto two plates - as due to our large group, it was quite cramped. The guy doing our tastings was very accommodating and permitted us to also request wines that we would like to try. There was some delay with getting samples as some of the tour group stood at the bar and monopolised the guys time with getting samples which delayed him coming out to the rest of the group - who were around the outside table as requested. The moscato and dessert wine was a definite fave at this location and they offered us discounted prices to purchase which was an added bonus. - Margaret River Choc Factory: always a favourite and the sample chocs went down really well. - Providore: Located next to the chocolate factory. Here we sampled 4 x chocolate liqueurs which were divine. - Duckstein Brewery: Sampled their lovely Mango Champagne - which was so yummy, I had to get another glass! Accompanied with hot chips - a real treat. A++

What a half day it’s was amazing the driver/ tour guide was amazing full of energy the wines we taste was amazing. Few wines stops we didn’t know about

The trip to three vineyards, a chocolate maker & brewery was excellent. Otto our guide/driver for the afternoon was informative & funny as was his wingman Steve. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & would recommend the 1/2 day tour.

A great tour including visits to three premier wineries for wine tastings including cheese nibbles and crackers. We went on to the Margaret River chocolate company for free sampling and the opportunity to buy their products. Following these visits we moved on to the Duckstein Micro-brewery for a free beer of our choice from the range accompanied by a bowl of delicious hot chips. Throughout our driver/guide was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

You will not be disappointed with this tour , especially tour guide. Best bus driver and gets along with any and everyone. Knows how to entertain the crowd while travelling to different locations . The wineries themselves were so beautiful , the staff running these places were lovely. The cheeseboard can maybe be a bit bigger as there are more than 20 people on the tour for half a day. But other than that Beautiful , fun experience for our first time going on a wine tour.

We had a great day at Swan Valley with my co-workers. We visited many places and our driver was also entertaining! We definitely needed food half-way through as the tastings were generous. That, with the heat, meant we were tipsy rather quickly! We would go again, highly recommended.

the best thing was how close to Perth it was and we were short of time. Our group had 11 people and that made it pleasurable. The driver was knowledgeable and worked well with a small but diverse group of travellers.

Had a great afternoon - I think we were lucky as there were only six people on the tour so easy to mix. Driver / guide - sorry can’t remember his name was lovely - changed to an unlisted winery as he thought it would be a better fit for the group - love when people do this. Tastings were excellent and company was congenial - what more could you want. Recommended.

The selection of wineries, chocolate and breweries were all fantastic with the right amount of time at each and the lunch was great. Our driver Wes made our day and had great banter with him.

Good selection and quality of wines. Our guide was very good. A cold beer at the end of the trip finished it off nicely!

There was a technical hiccup that interfered with our outting, but after reaching out to the tour operator, all was made right in the end. What impressed me the most from this interaction was the attention-to-detail to fix & improve the service for future customers who travel from abroad. It is very refreshing to know that customers' feedback is being taken seriously here in Western Australia. A big shout-out to d'Vine Wines.

Tracy is the bomb! Lovely wicked sense of humor and great tips regarding best buys at each venue. No old fogie music, modern and retro, iconic and fun tunes. Loads of fun. We had opportunities to try a full cheese board, olive, choc liqueurs, pesto on French bread, beer, chips and a wide variety of wines to suit all tastes. Highly recommend.

Went on this tour at the start of Jan, it was fabulous. If you get Tracy as your tour guide then you are extreme lucky as she gave us little tip bits of where we can buy some of the products we tasted as well as just having an amazing time. I wasn’t planning to buy anything as it was just meant to be a fun girls outting, but the wine and chocolate we tried were so incredible that I couldn’t help myself.

Excellent half-day tour! Our guide and bus driver Tracy was fantastic! Full of energy and friendly. Three wineries with 5 glasses each plus a full pint of beer, a cheese platter, and chocolate, so it's definitely great value too! Traveled alone so was able to meet lovely new people too. Small group of 7 was perfect.
