Gus was/is a fantastic guide. He knows so much about WA and more. Loved seeing koalas at Yanchep. The pinnacles desert was mesmerizing. Lobster lunch ok. Having such a great guide in Gus and fun group of fellow travelers is what made the tour 100% worth it.

Join us on tour for a Pinnacles Day Tour exploring some of the West Coast’s most stunning natural regions. Enjoy looking for Kangaroos, Emus and other wildlife in the native wonderland of the Pinnacles. Leave behind city life for a one-day treat to some of Western Australia’s best natural wonders.
Guests will enjoy a visit to either the Yanchep Lavender Farm or the Yanchep Chocolate Drops Tearoom. At the Lavender Farm, indulge in treats like lavender ice cream and freshly baked scones, while the Chocolate Drops Tearoom offers a variety of exquisite chocolates and sweets. Morning tea is included, providing a delightful opportunity to relax and savour these delicious produce of the region.
For lunch, we venture into the Cervantes, home to the famous Lobster Shack where you can choose from their menu and enjoy delicious WA seafood washed down with a refreshing beverage as you take in the beautiful coastal scenery. (lunch at guest’s expense)
Take an after lunch stroll along the Lake Thetis boardwalk to view some of the world's oldest known living fossils known as Stromatolites. In a region abundant with flora and fauna, we’ll wander through a kaleidoscopic of wildflowers, including the likes of banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws; all bursting with life, when in season.
With our lungs full of fresh sea air, it’s time to journey on to the Nambung National Park to witness the remarkable Pinnacles desert. Made up of shells, the Pinnacles date back millions of years to a time when the land was beneath the sea. Thousands of limestone pillars rise eerily out of the desert, we will visit the visitor information center to learn all about these structures before walking a few hundred meters to get up close to them.
After exploring the Pinnacles we head south back to Perth.

Guide was fantastic. Great to get out of the city and see countryside.
Our guide, Meg, was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. She made sure everyone was engaged and looked after. The tour was great. Would definitely recommend!
Our trip to the Pinnacles and stops along the way was through Autopia Tours. Our guide was Meg. She was excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and made sure everyone was engaged and looked after. Great trip!
A good trip with rather a long drive on the way back. I think the driver/guide make a big difference, and on my trip they really only provided essential and key information, with very little background. They spent most of the time chatting and gossiping with each other about work, life etc.
This was a great way to see The Pinnacles from Perth without having to drive there ourselves. Jeff, our guide, was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. It's amazing what you can learn while travelling in a van that you just don't get when you are driving yourself to a destination.
Thanks to Carolina and Meg for a lovely day exploring Yanchep national park, Lake Thetis and the Pinnacles. The timing at each stop was good, no rush at any time. Lunch at the Lobster shack Cervantes overlooking the ocean was delicious. It was clear how much Meg and Carolina love their job and were very keen to share their knowledge of this beautiful part of our country. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed the range of experiences on the tour - esp the koalas at Yancep National Park, the delicious meal at The Lobster Shack & the marvellous Pinnacles.
Pinnacles day out with Autopia Tours! Had a wonderful day out with Caroline from Autopia tours. She gave us history of Perth while she was driving. She really took care of us well as we were just 4 of us. The weather was also perfect and got to see wild kangaroos jumping, koalas and Emus. Pinnacles was just such a great wonder and really enjoyed this tour.
Although the drive from Perth takes several hours, we very much enjoyed the stop at Lavender Estate and the scone. The Lobster Shack lunch was very good. We enjoyed Carolina’s commentary throughout the journey, as well as her excellent driving. Lake Thetis and The Pinnacles are fascinating. We also enjoyed the amazing wildflowers throughout the trip.
Had a wonderful day out with CARULINA from Autopia tours. Was in her safe hands, knowledge of the tour every step of the way. One of the highlight of the tour was a visit to Lake Thetis where she gave an interesting insight of the existence of the living Stromatolites. Bubbly and easy going, it made it a good fun day to everyone of us in the group!
Adam our guide was fantastic. We had a great day and the trip was well organised.
We had a wonderful day on the Pinnacles, Lobster and Yanchep tour. Everything was very well organised, and travelling in a small group made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day. We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Perth.
Excellent tour. We thoroughly enjoyed both guides. Who were knowledgeable, and both guides had a great sense of humour, There was plenty of time at each stop. The guides were very considerate and attentive to everyone in the group.
Thanks to Adam for making the trip a safe and enjoyable one. Window curtains in the bus would be good. The sun can be harsh at times.
Adam, our tour guide & driver, was very knowledgeable and professional, yet easy going! His friendly nature made a long day interesting. He spotted & introduced a Quandong (which had fallen on the ground) to us to ‘show & tell’ after our Pinnacles walk. This day trip was worthwhile for first-timers!
Adam the guide was very friendly and full of knowledge.
Great day exploring the pinnacles. Our guide Annaliese was great and made our experience even better!
We enjoyed the variety of sights on the day out. Loved seeing the pinnacles, an amazing place. Ally the driver was knowledgeable and enjoyed her commentary.
Highly recommended. The tour was well paced and Gus, our guide was really knowledgeable. Thank you and we look forward to doing another tour!
Gus our driver and guide was both informative and entertaining. The Lavender Farm was a genuine treat with the largest scones I've ever eaten. The Pinnacles were a sight to behold and the stromelites, the oldest living creatures on earth were fascinating. The Lobster Shack's food was plentiful and delicious, and the service was excellent and very fast.
Great day from start to finish. Elly was our driver/ guide and was very friendly and most informative. Morning tea at the Lavender Farm was delicious and well organized. The drive to the Pinnacles was made interesting by Ellys great commentary. We had enough time to wander through the desert and get some great photos. Next stop was the Lobster Shack and it didn't disappoint. We can definitely recommend the Shack Platter...Superb... After this we ventured to Lake Thetis to see the stromatolites and walk off some of the lunch. 2 hours in the bus back to Perth with a quick bathroom stop halfway for anyone who needed it. All in all it is a very well organized tour and I would not hesitate in recommending this day trip to anyone visiting Perth
Our tour guide, Amanda, was super friendly and very knowlegeable of the area. I would give her 5/5. Thank you Amanda 😃 I would have been happier to travel in a bus with more leg room as I am recoverung from an injured knee. I also felt all the bumps that agravated my back. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed the places we visited. I enjoyed the free lavender scones at the lavender farm and my family and I took some nice photos. I enjoyed going to the Pinnacles. That was an amazing site. When you consider that whole area used to be under water thousands of years ago and with the wind slowly eroding it away creating the shape it is now. It looks amazing. We also saw'the living fossils, Stromatolites at Lake Thetis. Stromatolites produce oxygen for everyone. We had lunch at the Lobster Shack. I love the ambience of the place and the view was enjoyable as we ate our lobster & seafood dish. I thought it was expensive for the meal considering it was half a lobster with not much meat and some seafood to share with 3 people It was
The guide Amanda was very knowledgeable in the Western Australian history. She was very sociable, helpful and a professional driver in the bus. Pleasant day, price was good. Well worth seeing. Thank you for more happy memories.
I loved every moment of the day tour to the pinnacles. Stopping for a scone and Lavender Tea for morning breakfast was refreshing, also got some nice photos with the purple tractor which matched the Lavender theme. Amanda was also a great host / tour guide, she played music from every era to cater to everyone while on the road. She was also super knowledgeable about the history in WA and really friendly. The Pinnacles were a great photo place. Overall I really enjoyed the day :)
Excellent tour very informative tour guide in Amanda. Started the day with lovely warm scone with jam and cream at the Lavender Farm then on to the Pinacles which were amazing. Lobster Shack superb lunch stop felt a little hurried with only one quarter hour stop. Over all enjoyable day
The pick up point was not in the most salubrious of areas and had nowhere to sit while we waited. It was easy to find ehich was good. Wr booked it for the Pinnacles but equal weight was given to elevenses in the Lavender Farm and Lobster lunch. We expecting a guided walk through the pinnacles but were only given an introduction and left to our own devices for a hour
Really good day out, nice stop at the Lavender Farm for a coffee and cream tea, loved the Pinnacles, lunch at the Lobster Shack was great and really enjoyed Lake Thetis. Comfortable Coach and Amanda was a great driver and tour guide.
Our tour guide Casper was very knowledgeable throughout the whole tour. He kept us entertained and gave us lots of free time, The tour was well planned out and never felt rushed. We loved the lavender 🪻 farm and the amazing Pinnacles. I would recommend the tour to anyone thinking about doing it. Big thanks 🙏👍
The Pinnacles and Lobster Shack tour was amazing. Tour guide Casper was very and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!
Tour was very good, Casper was very knowledgeable and had a great music playlist. 😁Lobster lunch yummy, Pinnacles spectacular, though very hot.
Loved the Pinnacles Tour, guide Amanda was very good - she made sure we were well looked after & kept us updated at all times!! Enjoyed the Lobster Shack too
Gus, Amanda and Fred looked after us well. From the lovely morning tea, to the desert and the lobster farm, everything was nice and well organized. Highly recommend.
We were experiencing pinnacles trip on a hot day in December. Geoff was our driver and tour guide, he provided us so much information, and answered all questions. We enjoyed the tour very much, and thanks to Geoff.
Picked up on time. Driver informative & safe. It's hot at the Pinnacles but well worth the visit. Fascinating scenery. Take a hat & plenty of water, some is available on the bus. The lobster cafe is in a great location & food good.
Our tour guide/driver Casper was great. He supplied us with interesting information of the flora, fauna and animals, history, etc. He took us to Pinnacles National Park …. “Spectacular” amongst other places along the route. It was a long day but so worth it. Thank you Casper.
Great trip, Caspar an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and looked after us well. Lovely coffee and lunch stops and beautiful scenery
I went on a full-day excursion and it was absolutely fantastic! I loved every single stop, and the lunch was super delicious. Our driver, Geoff was incredible — he shared so many interesting things, it was truly great listening to him. A huge thank you to him for making the day even better. Highly recommend!
Nice tour, with the Pinnacles very impressive. Tour a bit too long. A lot of driving in a minivan a bit past its use time. Group very nice.
It was a perfect trip and amazing experience with many well planned stops, enough time to fully experience everything. My tour guide Geoff wad amazing to guide and inform us throughout the trip. Highly recommend booking it! // Sweden
Such a great tour! Jeff is quite nice and professional! He takes care of us and willing to help. Funny trip.
We had a great tour guide/driver called Beth on our Pinnacles day trip. The lavender scones at the Yanchep Lavender farm were delicious! The best lunch we have had so far during our Perth holiday was definitely the lobster at The Lobster Shack at Cervantes: absolutely the freshest lobster ever! Seeing the pinnacles in daylight despite the millions of flies (they even got inside my net) was awesome as last time we drove here ourselves we arrived at dusk! Stromatalites at Lake Thetis were ok but not as good as the ones at Hamelin Pool at Shark Bay but still worth seeing. Overall a great day out and I would thoroughly reccomend Autopia Tours: Beth was a great guide and the coach very comfortable and also had a USB charging ports on the back of the seats.
Wonderful because it’s a small group tour have a very informative driver and everybody mixes together well
Seats on bus were too small and in a rigid upright position. Leg room cramped. Nowhere to put belongings except your lap. No one warned us about the flies trying to enter your mouth or nose every 2 seconds. Be prepared and take scarves or masks.
Informative session shared by Geoff. Geoff was very hospitable, warm and flexible with our request. Overall tour experience was a pleasant one.
We had a fantastic day with Geoff as our guide on the trip to the Pinnacles, Lobster Shack, and Cervantes. He was punctual, incredibly knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts and stories along the way that made the whole journey so much more enjoyable. Geoff struck the perfect balance between being informative and friendly, it felt like travelling with a mate who really knows his stuff. The bus was spotless, modern, and super comfortable — easily one of the nicest we’ve been on. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and we never felt rushed. Overall, it was a well-organized and memorable experience, highly recommend this tour and especially Geoff!
Good day trip from Perth to explore the Pinnacles. Geoff was very knowledgeable, friendly and worked around the varied weather conditions to make out trip memorable. The included morning tea of lavender scones and tea/coffee was a great start to the day.
We had a great day. Loved the Lobster Shack and the Pinnacles. Amazing place. Our guide, Geoff, was very friendly and informative. Highly recommend.
Great day, with a warm, friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable guide named Geoff. Scenery was fantastic and the food stops were also good.
Brilliant day out with Adam as our guide. He was incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable and was always filling us with information about the places we visited and any other questions that were put to him.
