Pinnacles Desert, Yanchep, And Swan Valley With Lunch From Perth

I had a wonderful time during this trip. I got to see kangaroos, the blue flower, and pinnacles desert in the most relaxed way imaginable. It’s the reason why I continue to use Viator.

The trip was awesome, highly informative and fun. Our bus driver knew his environments and nothing was too much trouble.

The tour guide was a walking encyclopaedia of knowledge. Would have liked to have a little extra time to take prescribed walks at Yanchep and the Pinnacles which were timed at 45 mins but otherwise everything worked brilliantly. Great food, great experiences and a very pleasant day’s touring

This was a great tour. Nicely paced and inclusive of interesting activities. The Pinnacle is such a magic place. I have enjoyed the sightseeing, the company of fellow tour-goers, and the commentary of our wonderful driver. Totally recommend it!

The Pinnacles are a must-see feature of Western Australia and coupled with Wanchep National Park they made for a great morning. We were fortunate to see kangaroos and koalas up close and The Pinnacles are spectacular. Lunch at the Lobster Shack was excellent too. The afternoon return journey would have been 2 hours plus because the trip takes you quite a way up the coast but…it was made longer by an unadvertised detour to a nougat shop (of all things!) and a chocolate factory/shop. If nougat and chocolate aren’t your thing after 5+ hours on a coach this becomes very tedious.

This was an excellent excursion! D day maybe long but Pinnacles were amazing, fish n chips @ lobster shack was awesome! The nougat, nuts n chocolate little side stops . Oh n not forgetting Yancep park, koalas n kangaroos.

Absolutely brilliant and very informative. Peter our driver was a fountain of information. The option of lobster at lunch was an added bonus.

Pinnacles interesting. Koala park not, other than toilet break. The nougat and chocolate experiences were just stores selling product. The fish and chips lunch was excellent as was our driver / guide.

Well planned itinerary for this Pinnacle Tour on the 4WD. Sand boarding on the sand dunes and having cross the sand dunes on the 4WD was fun and exhilarating! Not too physical as well. The Pinnacle Tour Park was indeed an eye opener..Trail was very walkable and easy to follow. Loved the close up encounter with the Koalas, Wombats and Kangaroos at the Caversham Wildlife Park as well.

Had an amazing day with Chris (our Guide and Coach Driver). Chris's knowledge and commentary on the tour was exceptional (including his humour). A quick stop to see the wild flowers!!! The weather to co-operated.

Comfortable travel, engaging guide, interesting sights, good overview of the surrounding area of Perth. Lobsters an option for lunch!!

It was nice to Australia outside the city of Perth. The Pinnacles were quite impressive. The lunch at the Lobster Shack was very good. The driver was quite knowledgeable.

These trips are always good, and each time I learn more about aspects of Western Australian history.

Our driver and guide was superb. He was knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful. Whole tour was very enjoyable and Jonathan, our guide added to the value of the trip.

Communication when booking this trip was excellent, tour was on time and although an early start the day was relaxing. Make sure you take fly nets for your face because the flies at the Pinnacles is next level crazy.

Wonderful experience with incredible nature in Yangcheap nation park and Pinnacle. Kangaroos are so cute, but koalas are too shy. Luke is the best driver ever, he is so caring and informative. Tripmates are so friendly from several countries. Tour operator is active and ready to help

It was a fantastic trip. We had Luke as our driver/guide, and he was very humorous. He gave us a lot of information about the history of WA, as well as very good commentary throughout the trip. Though it was a long trip, he kept us interested and told us many funny stories. He also gave us very clear instructions on what to expect when we got to the sites. We enjoyed the tour very much and highly recommend this to other people who are thinking of visiting.

Our tour guide Jamie was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and was able to point out all of the high points of the tour. We did have a semi-urgency on the bus which resulted in the AC going out while it was over 100° outside. Jamie did his best to accommodate everyone and show genuine concern. I really appreciate the way he handled the situation. Otherwise, the tour SELF was phenomenal. I really enjoyed the pinnacles, kangaroos, koalas, and lunch was amazing. Plenty of opportunities and plenty of time to rest and relax during the bus ride. You will see plenty of desert and countryside. You will also see ocean Shores. The part of the tour that I think needs to be revised or even omitted, is the chocolate factory portion towards the end. It is completely pointless and feels more like an arranged money grab. No one was interested in chocolates. The time spent traveling there could’ve been spent exploring somewhere much more memorable. My recommendation is to choose a tour without the chocolate factory. Another option is for the company to do away with it altogether. Otherwise, even with the chocolate factory, you will have an amazing time.

The Pinnacles were amazing and also the Lobster shack where we had lunch . Viewing Lobster at farm was interesting.

Yanchep is beautiful and lovely to see the kangaroo’s. Pinnacle desert is just unreal, there is something mythical and special about this place, the 1.5km walk is a must. Cervantes is beautiful amazing coast, good tour and topped off with good food. Overall another great tour

We have never seen such a fantastic view of desert, wish have more time to walk further in for close proximity feel. The upgraded lunch lobster tour, fish & chips are fantastic. Along the way nice chocolate tasting was added treats. Not to forget the driver, tour guide Glen, gives us fantastic introductions all the way every details of places that's give us unforgettable eexperience of the places of interest.

Glenn our driver was very informative and gave us a very interesting history lesson. However we didn’t have much time in each place.

More of a chilled tour day. Got to see quite a lot and didn’t feel like we were rushed at any of the stops. Pick up and drop off were very well organised and communicated. Beck our tour guide was lovely, she was fantastic with everyone on the tour, and made everyone feel welcome – thank you for showing us around and all your knowledge. Lobster Shack was brilliant incorporation into the tour, the lunch was lovely and it was a very generous portion, most tours when they include lunch aren’t so great with their portions but this was fantastic and was delicious. Only thing that I think could make the tour a bit better would be something more for swan valley, maybe a little cruise or something to add more to experiencing swan valley.

3 stars are not for the place - Pinnacles are amazing, and not for our driver who was really nice and funny and we loved him a lot, 3 stars are for the tour as we didn't see much during long day. First stop -Yanchep National Park - big piknick area with lake/pond - nice, but looks like every public garden. We were there for 30 min - nobody knew what for. I'm pretty sure Yanchep has many things to offer but we didnt see the reason to go there. Driver told us there are kangaroos - not even one showed up (ok, wild animals), so we could go to the next point earlier rather than looking at ducks. next stop - Pinnacles - this place is really amazing, but we had only 40 min there. In the description of the tour is: Nambung National park 1h, Pinnacles 1h and Pinnacles visitor centre 1h, so we expected 3h there - but it was only 40 min. For lunch we had 20 (!) minutes because we need to run to Swan Valley. But Swan Valley was not visiting landscape but 1h -ONE HOUR in chocolate shop! For long one day tour we enjoyed 40 minutes plus super fast (but really good) lunch. We were 1 km from Thetis lake where stromatolites are - one of the most famous place around but we visited chocolate shop instead of this treasure. It could be half day tour to Pinnacles - fair enough, but for all day long you should offer something more.

The trip was well organised from pick up to drop off. The coach driver was very informative and knew the history well.. Pinnacles ..amazing. Lunch at the lobster shack was delicious, followed by a final stop at Margaret River chocolate shop. As a solo traveller, I felt relaxed, and amongst new friends.

1. Stop a wildlife park (2 koalas, 2 kangeroos). 2. Stop Pinnacles very worth seeing! 3. Stop lunch by the sea OK. 4. + 5. Stop chocolate factory OK.
