Kings Park Segway Tour

Wonderful experience. First time on Segway. Tour guide, Amelia, was amazing and very patient.

We live locally but had family visit and wanted to give them a unique experience for their WA holiday. Everyone loved the Segways which are very easy to ride/operate and was amazing to tour around Kings Park in a different and unique way. I would highly recommend a Segway Tour.

The guide, Amelia, was very good at training us to use the Segways and was brought and cheerful at all times. We felt very safe with her :)

Taking the tour was a spontaneous decision, and we certainly didn't regret it! From the moment we entered the office until the end of the tour, the whole experience was excellent. We were fortunate enough to be the only two people on our tour. Harriet, our guide, was cheerful and immediately put us at ease as she explained how to use the Segways and took us through our training run. Throughout the tour, Harriet made us feel completely safe as we travelled around the city towards Kings Park, mixing with pedestrians and traffic and crossing roads along the way. She has excellent knowledge of Perth's buildings and history, as well as Kings Park and its many flowers and plants, which made the tour both interesting and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The price was just right, and Harriet was an excellent guide — we couldn't have asked for anyone better to take us on the tour. We would definitely recommend this experience!

Done tours with them two years ago so know the way it works. After short test to make sure you can ride the segway tour took about one and quarter hours. Guide very good. Took pictures of us . Fun thing to do.

This was the most fun and informative tour. The initial training was good and it didn't take long to feel comfortable operating the segway. It's very stable if anyone is unsure how they would go. Harriet was a dream as a tour guide. This was a very informative tour about Perth and it's history, and we even got some recommendations for eateries later on. To ride past a sculpture and actually understand the significance of it was great. The segway was so much fun and I would not hesitate to do this again.

Seth, our guide did a wonderful job of training and guiding us on the segways through Kings Park and Elizabeth Quay.

Kings Park Segway Tour was excellent. Harriet was our guide, it was a small group of four. Harriet gave good instructions on how to ride and control the segway, and gave an interesting commentary as we rode from Barrack Street Jetty, through Elizabeth Quay and up to Kings Park. We stopped to admire the view, took some photos, and rode back. It's not too long a ride, so you don't get tired. Great fun, I'd do it again. Thanks Harriet.

This was a great tour and a good way to see Kings park which is huge. Our tour guide Emilla was excel.ent and very informative. This was a great tour with great staff I highly recomend this tour.

The Perth Segway 1.5 Hour Kings Park Tour was wonderful! Emelia was an excellent tour guide and provided great training of the use of the Segway before we set off. She was very safety conscious throughout the tour, making sure we were safe the whole time. She was very knowledgeable about areas of Kings Park and the bits and pieces we saw along the way. She was also very helpful when I experienced for the first time, the pins and needles or numbness you get because you're actually standing still for a lot longer than your body is used to. This ensured that I continued to feel comfortable for the rest of the journey. She made sure we stopped at a few lovely locations to take pictures and was very personable. She made the experience really friendly and informative and we share a lot about our adventures over the course of the hour and a half. I highly recommend trying a Segway tour, particularly if you've never done it before, just so you can say you've ridden one! I'm so delighted to be able to say I've ticked off number #33 out of 40 from my '40 Before 40' list of activities.

Excellent tour with headsets to stay informed or ask questions the whole time. Segway initial instructions were excellent and were easy to ride.

A great way of seeing kings park without needing to walk miles. Some good photo opportunities and Emilia gave us lots of information regarding the areas we covered.

We were the only 2 on the tour. It was a 40 degree day so Belinda moved the whole tour time, just for our convenience. It was a GREAT tour. Harriet, our tour guide, was excellent - knowledgeable, funny, very professional. A great way to get an introduction to the beautiful city of Perth. Highly recommended. Charlee

Absolutely brilliant your - a real highlight of our Perth visit. Lasted about 1.5 hours including a safety session before setting off. Staff really friendly and our guide - Harriet- was incredible. She was super friendly, very knowledgeable , stopped several times for us to take pictures and made us feel really relaxed the whole way round

A new tour taking in the sights of the Blue Boat House and Kings Park. Harriet guided our New Years Eve tour. She was fun, knowledgeable & attentive, making sure our whole group were fine through the trip. A great start to a great day.

As a senior not sure how we would go, but it was a great experience. Amelia explained everything and made the whole venture fantastic.

Very enjoyable ride through the park with guided commentary. Harriet was excellent throughout. Care taken to show everyone how to use the Segway which is remarkably easy and all participants picked it up very quickly.

A fantastic start to our visit to Perth. After training we were soon zipping along the waterside and up into Kings Park for great panoramic views of city, along with views of stunning Botanical gardens before heading back into the city. Emilia our guide did a great job of ensuring our safety at all times and gave a most interesting commentary along the way. A great time had by all. Thank you xx

Segways are a great way to get a snapshot of an area. This was no different. It was nice that we all had ear pieces so could hear our very informative guide as we weaved around the wharf area before heading up to Kings Park. Full of history and interesting bits of information. Kings Park is wonderful and very scenic. The only downside is we only had two stops (only one where we got off the Segway) so photography was limited. This may have been due to having some inexperienced riders on our tour (but they are very easy to use so don't let that scare you)

A unique outdoor activity that I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience Perth in an unconventional way. Our guide, James was very bubbly and knowledgeable, and helped our group learn how to maneuver the segways with a quick training, and tailored our ride based on our preference. Would love to do this again sometime!

This was the highlight of our time in Perth. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made all of our family feel comfortable and confident to use the segways. Kings Park is beautiful and we saw much more of the park than we would have if we were on foot. The Segways were surprisingly easy to use and SO much fun.

Amelia was a great tour guide and we had a fantastic time. This a really great way to check out Kings Park and the tour was awesome. The Segway equipment is well serviced and very safe. Excellent value for money.

Give it time to practise on the Segway before going on the roads, it will be worth it! Seth was so patient!!! He explained things very well and made sure we were all safe!! We had so much fun, and it was the BEST activity ever!!!

This tour was a lot of fun. Unfortunately I don't remember my guide's name but she was terrific. She was patient with our training and made sure everyone was safe and ready to ride through the streets. We only scratched the surface of Kings Park because it's so huge but we got to see some gorgeous views of the city. It was my first time on a segway and I'd definitely recommended doing it as a tour. It was so much fun and Segway Tours WA are great!

James was knowledgeable and fun. And Segways are great way to get around the city. Kings Park well worth a visit for the views, the memorials and to get away from the city rush.

A fun way to learn about aspects of Perth. Amelie provided a brief but essential training plus a witty & informative commentary during the 1.5 hour tour, taking in beautiful Kings Park.

My first time on a segway was a memorable one. I had no idea how much fun it would be and the moment we got back to base at the end of the tour, my first thought was - is there another tour leaving right now?! I am really looking forward to the next time I get to do a segway tour, and would definitely recommend doing one with this great tour company. Our guide was so lovely, bubbly and funny, I found myself laughing through the commentary, and found it both informative and entertaining. I didn't expect to enjoy this so much, glad my friends dragged me along and I had such an enjoyable time with them.

Segway tours are amazing, because it really beats having to walk haha! I had a great tour with Harriet, who shared more about the city of Perth and its history, while pointing out numerous sites on the way. She also helped us to take photographs, and continuously kept us engaged and safe (her neck muscles must be really strong to keep turning around).

This was a really fun thing to do in Perth and gave us a taste of what Kings Park had to offer. Amelia and Lauren were very professional and knowledgeable in their approach, but also super friendly. The training was more challenging than the ride itself / but has to be done. Well done, would def recommend.

First time on a Segway. Emilia (I think that's the correct spelling) (might be wrong), Sunday 10:30am kings park Botanical Gardens, was great at teaching and explaining everything and was able to easily ride the segway learnt fast. She was an awesome instructor and guide showing me all the cool stuff around Perth and the Park.

Fantastic guided tour by Lauren for my adult daughter and myself up to the beautiful Kings park. Lauren gave us an informative overview of the history of the surroundings area and took all the safety precautions. It was a lovely exlerience, thanks Lauren!

Seth & Lauren were amazing!! Great tuition first which gave us all confidence on our segways. Weather was cool but it didn’t matter at all. Great route - saw the wildflowers in the botanical gardens. Headphones on everyone meant we had a running commentary from Seth. Very informative but also some humour thrown in there!! We wouldn’t hesitate recommending this to any friends!! Thank you !

Great experience. Our guide Seth was really helpful, pointing out locations of interest and giving us a good idea of some of the history of Perth. This tour took us on some inner city routes as well as giving us spectacular view over the city from Kings Park. Would highly recommend. Seth was a great guide who gave us great tips for riding the Segways and we always felt confident. Thank you!

Winona greated my very nervous wife and I as we entered the office and instantly made us feel at ease. Having never ridden a Segway we didn’t know what to expect but how good was Winona’s instructions, we were quickly feeling at ease on the Segway and wow what a tour. Whatever you do, do this! The views are magic and the commentary by Winona simply outstanding. Well done to this business and well done to Winona.

Great experience. Ended up being private tour that day. Led by great tour guides Winona and Faith. Takes a little patience to learn how to control and move but they had me up and about quickly. Lovely tour through Kings Park.Best way too see it with photo stops along the way. Highly recommended

Oh, this was great fun. I have no sense of balance and didn't fall off so have every confidence that anyone can do this activity. Lauren was an excellent guide, patient and encouraging while I overcame my initial nerves. This was an excellent way to explore the huge King's Park with its beautiful views.
