Batavia Apartment

Really disappointing. I was expecting something a lot more lavish, like an apartment in a hotel kind of way, with hotel facilities. They’re situated on a really old road. The shampoo in the shower was a shampoo and body wash, so they didn’t have proper soap. There was no sheets underneath the doona on the bed. The entrance to the complex wasn’t easy to find. The lady that worked there after 5pm and on the weekend was really patronising. She waved at me right in front of me where I could see. Also, when I approached her the second time for some conditioner, she got annoyed with me. She answered the door with a frown on her face, so her disposition wasn’t happy. I was like, if you don’t like your job, don’t work there. Then when I left this morning, because I told them previously that I had a disability, she was gonna take the key of me to put in the box when I could see it. For what you see when it’s advertised, it’s nothing like it.

We had a very good stay here. The apartment was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. The kitchen and big fridge was enough for us to do the little cooking we needed. You are walking distance to a lot of asian restaurants. Cycling it took us about 10min to get to the CBD. Our bicycles got looked on the fence on the 2nd floor and were safe. You can hear the road, but it quiets down in the night. No problem getting our bond (cash) back when we left.

This place has to be one of the worst managed accommodation apartments i have ever experienced in Perth. The guy in the office is rude and unprofessional, they have barely any kitchen items, the couch supposed to be the other sleeping option is worse than sleeping on concrete, the floor on front balconies is peeling and very slippery when wet and the entrance has no gate to keep unwanted visitors like the homeless and trash from the streets entering every night breaking into cars riffling through their bins which smelt putrid when you lifted the lid having a bath in their pool and basically looking for stuff of value to steal. I wanted to do laundry which is closed most of the time and was full of dirty linen from the motel washing it in the same laundry as guests meant to use in outdated machines and dryers. The only one who seems to care is the cleaning lady who was the only decent thing about this place. I did not feel safe at all for both my personal safety and hygiene health. very disappointed

rude host, scammed for $200. the host said we had to pay a bond for any damages, we didn’t damage a thing and only left a small amount of rubbish so we never got our money back. no contact from the host regarding this, the caretaker was also very rude. she knocked on our door very late at night telling us to be quiet even though no noise was being made, she then screamed at us when we were checking out for the small bit of rubbish in the apartment, THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS if i could rate 0 stars i would….
