Adina Apartment Hotel Perth Barrack Plaza

In late June, my wife, daughter and I stayed five nights in Perth at the Adina Apartment Hotel, Barrack Plaza. We were looking for two bedrooms, two baths, and laundry facilities, hoping to only get one (big) hotel rental. This place has it all, including all I was looking for, at a very fair price. The location is fabulous, with lots to do close by, and only a few minute walk to the river. Every single person we dealt with was knowledgeable and friendly. It's a long ways to go, but I hope to go back.

We traveled from the US and stayed here for nearly two weeks. The location is amazing-we loved walking around the city in the evening and trying different restaurants. The view from our balcony was stellar. Our room was clean, although slightly outdated. The service was spectacular - any issue or help we needed was immediately addressed in a very friendly manner. The one word of warning is that the parking garage is tight!!! :) Highly recommend due to the price, customer service, and location!

Very dated property with tired carpets, old décor, and unpleasant smells in both the elevator and corridor carpet. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the room clean, but the hotel overall needs refurbishment or public area maintenance. The biggest issue was the service. Night staff were unhelpful regarding an extension request, said it is okay just come in the morning （night team Should be able to modify booking as well）, and the morning team were rude, gave an unreasonable rate (I explained despite heaps of availability, friends & family rate not available on the day which I didn't think when night team said just come in the morning to pay）, the morning staff gave me a eye roll and pressured me to decide quickly when I ask for one hour to decide consider it is low season it would not be visioned a problem she immediately said half an hour you have. The thing is she could not care less for me to explain. She said if you were reservation staff you should know better. And I was trying to explain. And I was also yelled at in the lobby, which was completely unacceptable. Management should review the CCTV and phone recordings. She didn't gave her name but said Halima is the duty manager who was sitting in the back watching the bully happen. Just because I get a discount price does not mean I get looked down or belittled！ What kind of person ask this question that “just because I am friend and family last night how can I prove I am still friend and family for tonight？” The area outside also felt unsafe at times, with no visible security. Overall, disappointing service and poor value for the experience. If its for business Subiaco is much better, room is massive and clean all staff are amazing, very considerate. If for holiday, Scarborough is fantastic. View great；staff is awesome as well and actually take time to have a chat with you not to mention beautiful smile.

The venue is situated in the heart of the city, close to shopping malls and the train station, making it ideal for concerts at Optus. We decided to book directly with eclub, which was nearly half the price for this weekend. We also secured a deluxe two-bedroom apartment that looks just like the pictures, offering a charming view of the city. Surprisingly, it is quite peaceful despite being right in the city center. The apartment is tidy and features comfortable beds, perfect for families. Additionally, there’s Netflix and coffee available, which is a bonus. The front reception staff also appeared to be very helpful.
