If you are a True Rocky fan, this tour is for YOU! From where it all started in Rocky 1; Rocky’s humble apartment, Micky’s gym to Adrian’s restaurant and the cemetery where Rocky honored his beloved late wife and special brother in law Polly and all special landmarks in between to the grand finale up the famous steps and the statue, this tour was worth every penny! Of course a tour this amazing can have all the best sightings however if the tour guide isn’t great, a tour can become miserable real quick!! This is where Adam Clements seals the deal with his kindness, his professionalism, his sense of humor, his great knowledge of anything Rocky and his Passion for visitors to experience all that Philly has to offer! Including its rich history and awareness on Kensington’s current challenges. I wanted to include this in this review as Kensington’s addiction epidemic is currently viral and I have heard people say would skip this tour because of that. Adam confidently drove us through a nightmare of traffic, let us take pics where we wanted and ensured everyone’s safety at all times. My 19 year old sons with Autism can sometimes struggle to connect easily with others when we travel and shared « This was our best vacation ever » after being dropped off. I believe Adam sensed their neurodivergence immediately and created a safe space for the boys to feel comfortable during 4 hours + in small van. Thank you Adam for bringing our tour guide and for giving this Gen X’er a special trip down memory lane I have cherished with my father who is no longer with us. My power walk up those iconic stairs was with my dad looking down from above. Sincerely, The Sorrentino untraditional Family 🫶

Itinerary
In a tour full of highlights, the one at the top of the list is of course the iconic statue and steps that have defined what the Rocky films are all about. Do your best Balboa impression in front of his statue, which may be the most photographed statue in Philadelphia. Then make sure to do some stretches before running up the 72 most famous steps in the city and strike your victor’s pose! The view of the city from on top of the steps is magnificent, and your guide will be there to capture it all on your phone.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art, one of the largest art museums in the United States, showcases a vast collection spanning centuries and cultures. Made famous by the iconic "Rocky" films, its front steps, known as the "Rocky Steps," have become an iconic symbol of the city, where visitors often recreate the triumphant run made by Sylvester Stallone's character, Rocky Balboa
The building which served as the exterior of Micky Goldmill’s gym (Rocky’s home away from home) still stands. You will have the chance to walk around the building, take some pictures, and here why the director chose this location. And right across the street?....There’s the bar where the climactic Tommy Gun fight happened. A great Rocky corner!
Rocky's Apartment from the first movie. In the heart of the Kensington neighborhood, on a side street that could easily be missed without a guide, is Rocky’s apartment from the first movie. The building and street have not changed since 1976, and you’ll be able to take a picture while stretching on the stoop just like Balboa did before his early-morning run.
One of America’s oldest and largest outdoor markets was the scene of Rocky’s famous montages as he trained to face Creed. Drive up the road that he ran, past the wonderful shops and fruit vendors, and past Pat’s King of Steaks, where Gazzo gave Rocky some money for expenses. Maybe even grab a steak here if time allows.
Adrian’s Restaurant, The classic Italian eatery Victor Cafe serves as the setting for Rocky’s fictitious restaurant where he meets Adonis Creed and sits warily with Ivan Drago.
Also known as Father Carmine Church - Visit the active Catholic Church in South Philly and stand outside the window where Father Carmine sends down a blessing to Rocky “....So that if I get beat up tonight, it won’t be too bad”
Drive past the oldest hospital in Pennsylvania, which served as the setting for the hospital that Rocky visit’s after his first bout with Creed.
The real life boxing gym that was used extensively in Creed. This is where Adonis’s training montage ends with the motorcycles racing around him. If the gym is open, we will take a look inside. It’s the real deal!
Rocky and Adrian's house from Rocky II, tucked away in a charming alley in South Philly. The exterior looks exactly as it did back when the film was shot. The numbers still almost add up to 9!!!
This peaceful and scenic cemetery overlooking the Schuylkill River is the resting place of Rocky’s beloved Adrian and Paulie. Pay respects to these characters in front of the real stones that were made for the movies, and your guide will lead you to the spot where Rocky sits on his wooden chair and reflects while reading the newspaper.

It was such a great experience. Brittni was the best tour guide. If you are ever in Philly this is a must do tour.
We had a fantastic time on our Rocky tour. Tom was obviously a big fan and very knowledgeable, not only about where the Rocky movies were made but also the history of Philadelphia. It was a bit surreal getting to see so many places from the movies in person. Highly recommend for any Rocky fan.
It was an amazing experience. Our tour guide was awesome!
Excellent tour for any Rocky fan! Barry was exceptionally knowledgeable on filming locations and the city of Philadelphia. Thanks Barry for a wonderful experience

Super polite and made us feel like we were touring with some friend who was showing as the city . See you Barry soon for the next adventure !! Thanks M

Great film enthusiast it was like being in the movie great tour. We drove through all the neighborhoods Parks museums that were in the movie. It was like going through time.
I want to thank Mike for making this tour possible. Mike blew me away with his knowledge about the Rocky movies and the history behind each location and answered any question I had about the movies with the history behind the scenes. He’s a great guy and this is the one and only tour you must go on, coming from a lifelong Rocky fan! Keep Punching!
Very good. A lot to know. Saw a lot of places I didn’t know I could see Friendly guider Cool ride Would recommend
If you are a Rocky fan this is the way to tour Philadelphia. Tom is knowledgeable of the city and a true lover of the Rocky films.
We booked this trip during a recent holiday in the US and it was a blast, truly one of the highlights of the whole trip. Mike will come and pick you up from most places within the city of Philadelphia and then take you on a driving tour of the most significant filming locations from the Rocky and Creed movies. We booked this tour because (1) we knew that some of the filming locations are not in the nicest of neighbourhoods so wanted the expertise that comes with Mike and (2) we wanted to see as much as possible and with locations spread out across the city, it made it much easier to see them on a driving tour. Our tour ended after roughly 3 hours at the Museum of Art where of course everyone is running up and down the stairs. Mike lives and breathes Rocky and it was amazing to spend time with a fellow fan and ask so many questions. Thoroughly recommeded
Tom was an amazing tour guide. He went out of his way to show us everything we wanted to see and was full of interesting information. He was especially kind and patient with our eight year old Rocky fan. We will be back to take another tour with him for sure.
Barry was an awesome tour guide. The Rocky Tour was a very good way to both see where key scenes from the movies and to see a wide variety of Philly’s neighborhoods. Barry had lots of interesting facts about other landmarks and interesting spots we passed. Highly recommend!
Fantastic tour, dream come true, had waited years for this. Our tour driver, she was wonderful and very knowledgeable, knew the streets so well, ( she does live in South Philly). I can’t recommend it enough if you love Rocky like I do. Alan
Barry, was an amazing tour guide, with so much more information than we expected, would highly recommend this tour.🥊🥊🥊
We had a wonderful Rocky tour with James. He was extremely knowledgeable about all things Rocky (and Creed) and took us to so many interesting locations from the movies. He was also extremely friendly. In all, I would say his tour is a must for all hardcore Rocky fans.
Adam was Great, so much knowledge about the Rocky film locations, and general history of the area, highly recommended!
a must for every Rocky fan, really been to every filming location, and everything was explained fantastically by James. We were more than satisfied, many thanks James
Tom was great. Very knowledgeable and a personality fit perfectly for tour guiding! The tour went beyond just the Rocky movies and included a bit of a city tour as well as great suggestions for nightlife and dining.
Barry was excellent, took us to alot of bonus places and he showed us all sides of Philly we would certaintly come back to Philly again, thank you!
We had Barry as our guide, he was amazing, friendly and full of fun facts both about Rocky and the history of Philadelphia, Can only recommend this tour
Just finished the Rocky tour with Barry, fantastic as he's a local was very knowledgeable of the city, friendly and polite. Some of our party had mobility issues and Barry got us as close as possible and was always offering to help. Would highly recommend.
Excellent tour Barry was superb knowledgeable friendly and extremely polite and helpful Appreciated the sites around the city as well as the rocky iconic stops
Excellent tour, Barry was fantastic took us everywhere we wanted to go didn't rush us great experience would highly recommend
Besides Rocky nuts like me, Adam gave us so much history of Philly culture which was great for my wife and 14-year-old daughter. We went by every Rocky icon/prop/etc. Adam showed us video from the movie of the place where we were sitting. It was uncanny. This is a must-do in Philly! Why would you go to Philly and not do this? :) Adam became a friend, and he tried very hard to please. We even stopped at the Italian Market for a snack. We were able to visit Adrian's restaurant, and Victor (real-life owner) let us browse and have a bathroom break. I will never forget this tour!
Our guide Barry was the best. Showing us the movie clips of the locations and interact with us all tour and help us with the cameras. Explains the difference from the first movie 50 years ago and as the locations see today. We stop in the middle of little italy and react one of the rocky runs. For a fan of rocky movies this is a must do. Is alone would not see everything the way Barry takes us
James was phenomenal, his passion for both Philly and the Rocky story shone through. His knowledge was 2nd to none and was very accommodating with photo stops and drink breaks. Genuinely both James and the tour exceeded my expectations and I would tell anyone who had the opportunity to take the tour.
Tom was amazing. He made it so much fun for me and my son. Took his time and answered all of our questions. I will definitely do another tour with him.
Barry was very knowledgeable about the Rocky movies and the city of Philadelphia. He shared lots of anecdotes about the movies and provided great additional context about the city and it’s political and cultural history from the 1700s through today.
Barry was an awesome tour guide. Saw so much more than I thought we would. 4 hours packed with various movie sites. Would recommend to others!
Very flexible, accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and awesome guide. If you love the Rocky series…it is a must!
Barry was absolutely amazing! He was very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about all things “Rocky” as well as the city! Best tour we have ever taken!
An exceptionally fantastic tour, fast paced but still with plenty of time at each well chosen stop. The recognisable Rocky destinations where we took lots of photos outlined the full coverage tour of Philadelphia with facts about the past, present and future of the varied destinations, as well as the thoughts from the locals and the development of each area. The thing which truly made our trip was the amazing Barry, he was an insightful, kind and funny guide! He was full of energy and positivity from the start to the finish, as well as being super friendly and knowledgeable when we asked him questions about Philadelphia, Rocky and American culture! The time honestly flew and we thoroughly enjoyed it, this is the tour to go on and truly unmissable!
Thank you so much! Barry was an amazing guide! So many amazing facts about the town and Rocky. An amazingly friendly guy, won't forget this wonderful tour!!
Tour was wonderful. Barry is very knowledgeable about all things Rocky related. Barry also has some very interesting facts about Philadelphia. I would highly recommend this tour…Rocky fan or not !
So fun! Barry was so knowledgeable. I learned about food. art, and history of Philly. Even on a drizzly day the time flew by. Shop keepers were very friendly and accommodating. We are so full!
Having grown up in Philly I was looking for something different to do with my kids on our latest visit. Both have see the Rocky movies and loved the tour. They have not yet seen Creed and now are itching to watch them as well. This tour takes you out of the normal sights and gets you into different neighborhoods - Kensington, Center City, South Philly, Fishtown and Gerard estates to name a few. This would be a great tour for anyone that enjoyed the Rocky movies - no need to be a super fan. James did a great job showing the Rocky locations and clips from the movie. In addition, he is from Philadelphia, shared other interesting facts (not Rocky related about the city) and was more than happy to share restaurant and food ideas as well. Thanks for a great tour.
Had the most amazing experience with Adam, who's very friendly, knowledgeable and fun to chat and spend time with. He knows all the history and facts about Rocky, and it was quite surreal getting to see the famous sights and absolutely bucket list stuff for me, thank you so much, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone
We like to Thank our tour guide James and WeVenture for an amazing tour of Philadelphia and the Rocky movie locations. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank You James.
The experience was amazing!!! We knew a lot places of Rocky and Creed scenes. James Robinson is an excelent guide!!! He knows a lot about Rocky and Philadelphia. 100% recomendable.
James was an amazing guide who provided our group a tour of Philadelphia that we will never forget! He was knowledgeable in all things Rocky and Philadelphia and helped make my uncle’s 50th birthday extra special! I would highly recommend taking a tour with him!
The tour was great. James picked us up right in front of our hotel and instantly the tour started because of the location where we were staying. James had so much knowledge on the Rocky movies and Philadelphia in general. We had a great time and James was the perfect tour guide. We definitely recommend James he will not disappoint.
The tour was fantastic. We got to see a lot of the city and our tour guide, Adam, was fantastic! My husband is a huge Rocky fan and was quoting a lot of the movie lines, and Adam fired right back! His knowledge of the Rocky franchise was amazing, his passion and his enjoyment for his job was evident. We visited a ton of places and at each one, we got to watch a clip of the movie featuring that location. He took great pictures of us together, a very theatrical video of us running up the steps, and then met us at the top for more photo ops. Taking this tour with Adam felt like we were riding around with a friend who was telling us about their city. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested in Rocky, and would recommend the company and other tours to anyone interested in exploring the city! 10/10 experience!
Our guide James Robinson was great! He knows everything about Philadelphia and Rocky. You see a lot, you learn a lot (if you like) and you're having great fun including lots of fotos. It was worth every Penny - thank you James!!!
An amazing experience with Adam! He is very patient even if our English is not great! Ha! Ha! Lots of great discoveries on the Rocky saga that we couldn't have seen without him! To put on the list of all fans of the Rocky saga! It is really worth living it! 🤩👌🥊
My grandson is a huge Rocky fan so during his first solo visit I surprised him with the 4-hr private movie tour, he did not know until we got into the van. Tom Courtney was our guide and he was "amazing". His love for and knowledge of the Rocky movies and his city was evident as he safely led us through the four hour tour that takes you all over Philly and its unique neighborhoods to view where filming occurred. You get Rocky movie history/trivia sprinkled with the history of the city. Tom is an experienced tour guide with very high energy and customer focus, I would recommend him to the people I care most about. Philadelphia has changed a good deal since 1975 when the first Rocky was made and touring the sites is not something to try on your own. A dedicated tour guide is the way to go and well worth the expense.
Best Rocky tour in Philadelphia! Owen is a really kind guy who will guide you through rocky's most famous (and also not so famous) spots in philadelphia. He is an entertainer and he also took pictures of us. he is ready to reply to all tour questions about rocky and philadelphia too of course. You won't be disappointed
Absolutely the best Rocky locations tour!!! James had incredible knowledgeable of the filming locations of the Rocky and Creed films and puts you right into the movies themselves!!! James has great stories and trivia about the films, takes amazing photos and is an all around great tour guide!!! We honestly felt like we were spending the day with a good friend!!! Not to mention, James has a PhD in American History!!! Booking this tour with James is an absolute must for Rocky fans!!!
