Went solo on this excursion and I had a ton of fun and met some cool people and saw interesting places on the way

My husband an I had a really good time! All the spots were very cool and friendly! So was the host! Very knowledgeable on the city and alcohol!

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. D was our tour guide and he was amazing! Knew all the spots to be, was super friendly and there was never a dull minute! I highly recommend.

A fun time. Our guide, Greg, obviously loves the city he is representing. Wish we had known that for one of the bars that food would be available for purchase. We ate before the tour because that information was omitted.

We had a 7pm tour. No one showed up. We called and were told the time had changed to 4pm. We did not get any communication about the time change.. We saw just 3 bars. Tour guide did not go with us to 4th destination. He provided an address with no further instructions. When we got there, the place was locked. If it’s a secret bar… how does one find it without a guide? Disappointed with communication and interaction with our guide.

Even being locals we went to places we have never been and met wonderful people. Great Philly spots!

My wife and I decided to go to Philly for a couple of nights as we had never been there. We stayed at the Kimpton Monaco right across from Independence hall.. Beautiful hotel, very cool vibe. You can walk everywhere from this location. Very quiet area also. Tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance. This was one of our favorite cities we’ve visited. We are looking forward to our next visit

Matthew was a great guide! We picked a rough weekend right after the New Year when everything is quiet, but Matthew went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Cool bars and great conversations.

Great tour, great guide, we loved all the bars we went to but two stood out from the others. The tequila shot was at the first bar and it is a gay bar. That first bar was risky not really knowing the people that you’re gonna be taking on the tour that’s the only reason it didn’t get five stars.

I booked this tour during a business trip to Philly. Congrats to me, what a great idea! I met my guide, George, on the street near the first stop. He informed me that his other guests had canceled, so I was going to get a private tour. Woooo! What a night! I definitely experienced some bars I’d likely never had discovered on my own. George and I talked all night about drinking, life, and love. Thanks for a fabulous evening!

Matt was attentive to our needs. Our drinking capacity limited our crawl to 3 stops unfortunately. We were expecting more insight about the city as we walked the streets. Better suited for a younger crowd.

Really well done adventure that included a fun speakeasy. I wish we had been told more about the drink options and had seen some fun drinks (like the photo that shows one on fire) but it was still a great evening.

Appreciated that the tour was moved from the original meeting place due to the protest in Philly to ensure we stayed safe. Met some amazing people and the night was full of surprises, starting with axe throwing, then a hookah bar and on to salsa lessons. The hosts were fantastic moving the group along, they were friendly and knowledgeable. They also checked in at the end of night to make sure I was going to be ok getting back to my hotel after the initial venue change. This tour was very good value for money, well organised and entertaining would highly recommend.

Both our first time in Philadelphia, I wanted to show my lady friend and I, a good time like this. Especially as even before this, she mentioned how she felt like dancing but wasn’t sure if either she or I would be able to find a good place for it on our own. While we both may have been considered by others, on face value, as seemingly past the prime bar hopping and clubbing time of our lives, this was an opportunity neither of us could pass up. And let me say that it was this tour that single-handedly was a great, if not the best, way to bring us both back to that time, if just for one night. Especially fun since my lady friend and I didn’t know each other back in those days, but thanks to this activity it was like we were reliving it now, only together. Exactly what I wanted for her and both of us needed. Especially with the limited time we had in the city that week. And it was our man, Demir (sp.) who really brought that night to life, and really helped us get an experience more than either of us could on our own. He knew exactly the diversity of places that was needed and introduced us to fun people and traditions along the tour. He was able to improvise when there was an unexpected change of plans, keep the good vibes and energy up and positive, and showed us how to have a great time with him and more importantly each other, having a bit of fun with both of us, while never getting in the way of us enjoying each others company. The choices of the different bars and pubs, including both an elegant Italian place with food she loved, to a more alternative type of bar that we all enjoyed a shot in together, to everything in between, made it a night to remember. But perhaps it was the last destination, a clever and interesting speakeasy that I could never have thought there or could ever hope to have found on my own, that really made the night. He brought us on the right night to a place with the right ambience to take a brief pause, before he departed just in time for his choice to culminate in a hip hop night where I got the unexpected, but welcome opportunity, to dance the night away with my lady friend. I couldn’t ask for a better night, with a better, for lack of a better word, wingman, who in turn made me look good that night to her (thanks again, Demir). And couldn’t ask for a better activity on the last days I had with my lady friend in the city. Highly recommend this, even as a group or as a couple, well worth the price, as it was more than the sum of the destinations visited and a change to have a great time while impressing whoever you are taking the tour with.

We had a blast celebrating my birthday. Greg and Matt are awesome tour guides. Would like to see more secret bars and speak-easys, like Ranstad, Harp and Crown, Franklin Mtg.& Investment Co., etc. But overall, a great experience.

The tour guides are amazing and funny. You get to know some history about the city and go to some really awesome bars while having drinks along the way. The experience is awesome! You interact with the other people on the tour. You get to play a lot of fun games. If your in Philadelphia you have to do this fun tour!

This tour is a must do if you are looking for good libations in hard to find places. We visited multiple locations some inaccessible without a guide. All had great vibes and amazing drinks. If you are visiting philly and are looking for a good time this tour is for you.

Met some great people, went to great bars and the hosts were fantastic! Met on time and started immediately. Great energy in the group. The spots we went to had great drinks and all had different atmosphere. Unfortunately we had to bail out before the last stop due to babysitter at home.

The tour guide took us to cool bars but provided no information on why he chose the bars. When we asked questions his answers were short with no information. He was a nice person

Tour guide Mike was awesome. Location was great, footsteps from our hotel. Got to experience several bars. Great job managing the crowds of Erin Express and St Patty’s day. Mike did a good job getting the group out of crowds and into good experiences.

Mike was really awesome and personable. He showed us some really cool spots- ones we probably wouldn’t have found/tried on our own. So grateful for the experience. We had a phenomenal time!

This was the funnest night out! The hosts were awesome and the other guests were so fun. I loved the spots we hit, we never would have found them on our own. It was just my husband and me but we felt like we spent the evening with a bunch of old friends. I had the biggest smile all night, quite a surprise as I was let go from my job suddenly the day before. So what I’m saying is, it doesn’t matter your mood or life challenges, take this tour and you can forget life’s nightmares for a little while and have a blast. 10/10 highly recommend.

Fantastic experience! Our tour host was great, and one of the owners joined us for a few stops as well. Great variety of spots, including some back rooms and such that we wouldn't have found on our own. A couple of places had great food menus, kinda wish I hadn't wolfed down a bowl of ramen right before (although it was good to have some buffer; I'm not generally a big drinker, but the pace was decent enough to not get carried away). The other folks on the tour were fun and up for adventure, which was nice as a solo traveler - we're meeting up again at a museum this morning! Overall a perfect first evening in Philly.

It was completely disorganized. We went to four bars, they were all nondescript and learned nothing about the venues. I know it wasn’t a history tour, but I was looking for at least a bit of information. I can walk the streets of Philly and find my own bars for free.

Greg our tour guide was amazing. He was great with little trivia information and knowledgeable of the bars he took us to. The weather started off with rain, but it did not stop anyone from having a great time. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.
