The moderator shared some historical facts and pointed out beautiful buildings. We were able to stop and run up the Rocky steps!
Love seeing Philly at night with all the lights lit up. Felt very magical just seeing everything at night.
It was a great tour! We got to see more of the city this way from more of a birds-eye view. We enjoyed it!
Loved this tour - so glad we did it! Our driver, Don, and guide, Nicky, were great! It was very clear how much Nicky loves Philly.
Bring a coat and snacks. The tour guide is knowledgeable and friendly. The bus driver stopped and several locations for a photo op while on the bus.
Relaxing and informative tour. It was our first tour after arriving and it gave us a good idea of the layout of the city. Evenings are a nice way to see sites.
Thought the tour could have been better. The tour guide was great and knowledgeable but we "passed by" all of the areas and didnt have time to take photos. Sit on the upper right side of bus to truly be able to take photos as most of the sites were on the right side. The one place we were able to hop off, we were given 10 minutes to run up and take photo of Rocky statue. Super quick considering how many people were doing the same. We weren't able to see China Town due to an accident, so theres that as well. NOT recommending this if you are wanting to actual see and embrace the sites.
This is a great way to see the city while learning about the history and facts. I was able to pick out places I wanted to revisit on my own. Our guide was super informative, entertaining and funny.
Great way to plan out your trip and get some local knowledge. And looking at the site at night was wonderful.
Enjoyed seeing Philly at night. Very informative. Good tour if you have never been to Philadelphia.
The trip was good. The guide knew the area. It worked well as our first introduction to Philadelphia. The nice part was we were right across from the Reading Market which has several good places to eat and buy treats.
Sit as close to the tour guide as you can. Can be hard to hear sometimes with the traffic. But Zane the guide was really good. Really cool to see all the sites lit up at night.
This was an amazing tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very funny. I can’t remember his name, but he was amazing. Gave different recommendations to food and drinks and answered questions. I would definitely recommend this tour. I will so impressed. I’m going to schedule a daytime tour.
Loved the experience and the lady that did the tour (I can’t remember her name). She was hilarious, extremely informative and everything she showed us was interesting. We left the spot at 8 pm and it was over a little before 9:30 pm. We had a lot of fun, more than expected, and highly recommend!
My son-in-law is from the area and he didn't realize how much history is here. The tour was very informative with friendly guides, and beautiful history.
So much to take in! It’s a great introduction to the city. We would definitely take the tour again!
amazing experience - very informative-
Perfect weather and lots of information. Hillary was fantastic and made the experience memorable. Thanks!
The tour guide was very good about her knowledge of the city, yet a little rude. Be careful about the branches hitting your head. Overall trip was 8 or 9.
Bus driver late, substitute driver came but just drove as fast as he could through the route leaving us very little time to hear the history or take pictures! I’m sure the guide knows her facts but by the time she said them we weren’t close to the site or already past it. We were looking forward to this so much, but left very disappointed.
This is my 4th time on the Philly Night Bus Tour. I always bring friends or family when I come to Philly and always recommend the Philly Night Bus Tour. Great way to learn the city and history and always nice to catch the sunset!
I enjoyed this tour. I didn’t get to experience the By Night of it, since I chose the 6 PM timeslot. in July. The sun doesn’t set until about 8:30. I might try it again sometime, to get the full experience.
It was a good tour with good information. Great tour guide. Would recommend this tour to others for sure.
That it is a wonderful overview of Philadelphia, especially if you’re in the city for one night. Also, if we were here longer we would definitely know places to spend more time. We missed our 6:00 pm tour and was grateful they called to tell us about the 8 pm tour!! The bus driver and narrator were excellent.
They did a fantastic job and the weather was perfect. Had a blast. Get there early so you can get a seat up top.
Great way to see the city in 1.5 hours without having to get off the bus. Sebastian was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide on the bus.
It was an awesome tour! It was fun seeing Philly at night. Sebastian our guide was great!!
It started to rain and we had to get below. Could NOT see outside the windows were covered in a film. Pictures would not come out. Overpriced!!!
Our night tour guide and driver were great. The tour only lasted 60 minutes, not 90 as advertised…and I think it’s because it didn’t go to the Rocky steps for the photo opportunity. I think an event was causing traffic issues. Overall, very good time anyway.
The guide was very knowledgeable. Learned a lot.
It was an excellent experience if you’re short on time or want to get a preview of all the major sites.
Riding in the open air on top of a double decker bus puts you right in the action. My kids loved it! Passing under the beautiful tree branches while seeing the historic building was a treat! I highly recommend! It truly showed the beauty of the city! We were able to see everything in 3D instead of through a window. Very Cool! The Gide Walton was very knowledgeable and his Philly accent added to the experience!
Forced to sit downstairs on the double decker bus and unable to get clear photos through the windows because they put stupid decals on the windows, waste of money
My sister and I had an amazing time!!! Walter was our driver and got us through the tour safe and sound. No harsh stopping, no jumped curbs and gave ample time to look at everything. Sam was our tour guide and we absolutely loved her! Extremely knowledgeable, funny and down to earth. My sister and I will be back.
Great ride around the city. The tour guide was informative. Liked the the pic opportunity with the Rocky statue. Evening tour went well and the weather was nice.
Guide was very informative. We also stopped at Rocky Steps for 15 minutes. Wear a warm jacket when weather is cool. Would highly recommend the tour.
Very interesting and informative. Just wish that the tour included a tour or drive by the sports arenas.
Top of the bus was advertised as UNCOVERED. They put on a cover a week before and DID NOT ADVERTISE IT. Couldn't take photos, and the tour was ruined.
What a wonderful adventure! The history and the beauty of the lights at night were amazing. And, our guide was funny and informative.
Great tour of Philly and so beautiful at night. Guide was very knowledgeable and shared great info on architecture throughout the city. Highly recommend
Our tour guide, Zane, was fun, informative, and very flexible. I enjoyed learning about the various types of architecture in the city and his side stories about movies shot here in Philadelphia. Very friendly and inclusive. I’m glad we went and would go again.
We had an excellent tour guide who talked about the history, architecture & art all around the city. Doing the tour at night was special because of how things were lit up.
A good way to familiarize yourself with philly on your first day.....................................
My husband and I are here for a few days. Wanted to see Philly at night and this a nice option. I would do this tour again but in the daytime as some of the points of interest were hard to see at night. Would also do the Christmas light tour. Our tour guide, Ruth, was amazing. Lots of knowledge and fun facts about the city. Our driver, Tiffany, was also outstanding! We should have dressed a bit warmer for sitting on the top deck of the bus.
Our tour guide was one of the best. She was knowledgeable personable and entertaining. If I had time I would take the Day time tour.
It was fanastic. We did the 8:00pm ride and the girl who was our guide was very knowledgeable, articulate, easy to hear and very likeable. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was definely worth the money. I would highly recommend!
Was beautiful seeing buildings at night. Commentator did great job. My family now knows what they are gonna ng to visit.
Fun experience. Lights at night were nice. Tour guide was friendly and was able to adapt with the detours.
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Our tour guide was not engaging, we were unable to hear her majority of the tour. We mentioned early on that we were unable to hear and asked if there was a way to increase volume. She stated she could go downstairs to turn up the volume but she didn’t want to at that time and she would go after we stopped at the Rocky steps (45 minutes into the tour!). I’m not sure that happened because we were never able to hear. She stated the engine gets loud. She said “I’m from Jersey, so I talk fast”- not sure if that’s a great way to give a tour- but I just decided to enjoy the sites and forgo trying to hear about the sites- low volume, low energy, and quickly delivered. This was a tour I was happy to see end.
