Sidewalks were icy. Guide was very concerned about our safety Learned a lot about the city that I was surprised to hear Great walking tour
We had a wonderful tour last night with Ken - a group of 13 ladies walked about the chilly downtown area and learned all about the beautiful buildings and of course the lights! It was fun to be a tourist in our own city! Ken was spectacular.
Ken did an excellent job showing us the highlights of Pittsburgh holiday decorations while highlighting the history of the city. I have lived here for 60 years and did not know a lot of the history. He showed us many beautiful decorations inside and out which put us in the holiday spirits! We had a great time. I would recommend it for families, friends, and couples.
This was a great way to introduce ourselves to the beautiful city of Pittsburgh! We loved the tour guide. She was really knowledgeable and fun!
I did the Holiday Lights Walking Tour in Pittsburgh on November 30th, 2026, and it was such a great experience! Our tour guide, Ken, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire tour memorable. Not only did we get to enjoy the beautiful outdoor Christmas lights, but Ken also taught us about the architecture of downtown Pittsburgh and even took us inside several historic buildings that were decorated with stunning holiday displays. It felt like the perfect mix of a Christmas light tour and a downtown Pittsburgh history tour. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a festive and unique holiday activity. Just be prepared—there is lots of walking, so dress comfortably and warmly!
We did the Christmas lights tour of the city. It was a great mix of holiday spirit and Pittsburgh history. The tour guide was very interactive with the crowd, and despite multiple trips to the city, I learned new and interesting things.
Kane was a great tour guide, knowledgeable, , passionate about Pittsburgh, humorous and a has great singing voice as an added touch!
Kane was awesome! He was very knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining! We learned lots about the history of Pittsburgh. Good to see someone so enthusiastic about their job.
Was a great tour with interesting sites and facts. Tour guide was great. Saw lots of Christmas sites and they were all tied into the history of Pittsburgh
We were a little bit disappointed, we expected a light tour, it was a city tour, on Monday we did the ghost tour with Annie and in this tour of lights we saw the same things. We could have done without this. Anyway, thank you. We enjoy a lot!
Our group really enjoyed the history of the buildings and particularly, learning about those wealthy men who had those buildings created. We will all remember the most beautiful life-sized Nativity display. Ken, you are a treasure trove of knowledge; thank you for sharing it with us!
We saw so much of downtown Pittsburgh, learned about the history and architecture of the city and saw the beautiful Christmas lights all in the 2 hr tour. We’ll return to many of the sites to explore them in more detail during our stay. It was an excellent tour and our guide was very knowledgeable!!! Highly recommend this activity.
This was a great tour if you've been to Pittsburgh for the first time. Our guide was very nice and very knowledgeable and informative about the history of the city. Since it was Christmas time, there were lights, trees decorated and even a nativity scene. I would definitely recommend this.
Says holiday lights tour didn’t really see any holiday lights not worth 60$ spent almost 2 hrs to walk 2 blocks also the tour guy stopping to answer ppls questions that didn’t pay 60 bucks is crazy
We had a lovely Holiday lights tour with Ken. He was very informative and interactive with the group. We had a lot of fun! Would definitely book again!
I truly enjoyed the history of Pittsburgh. Our tour guide was extremely passionate about the city and knowledgeable.
Camaraderie, history, architecture all told with a very engaging and knowledgeable guide. Always fun to make new friends
Marisa was a great guide and showed us the major high points on a cold winter's day. There is plenty of Christmas spirit along the way.
My 12-year old son and I participated in the Holiday Lights Tour with Kane this past Friday. Kane was engaging, full of interesting tidbits about Pittsburgh's history, and brought hot green tea to share mid-way through the tour! It never felt like he was following a scripted tour, and he was able to answer questions without difficulty. Even though we only live an hour outside of the city, we had never done a formal "tour" of Pittsburgh and enjoyed it immensely. We can't wait to plan our next tour with Walk the Burgh once the weather warms up.
Took the Holiday Lights Tour on 12/5/20 with a group of friends. Corrie did a great job as our guide! She has an amazing talent of walking backwards and talking to the group about the history of Pittsburgh, its architecture and holiday displays. I'm born and raised here and never knew about many of the things she taught us about. Really interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommended!!
The day we went on this tour was COLD! Corrie was our guide and to start she brought tea and honey for her customers. Very nice detail. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and though the weather was so cold she made it fun, interesting. Tour was full of important information and fun facts about Pittsburgh and it’s history. The city is beautiful with all the Christmas lights and awesome buildings. I enjoyed it a lot. Will recommend it 100%.
Corrie was our tour guide for this trip. She was AMAZING! Her insight into Pittsburgh’s history, it’s current development and culture, and what is coming next was superb. Playful and interesting insights from both history and her own story as a local made this tour really special. I’m coming back to Pittsburgh in large part because of how welcome and informed I felt after the tour!
Though I moved to this city four years ago, but this was the first time when I enjoyed those lights closely. The Holiday Lights in Pittsburgh are really wonderful! I can't agree more. Also, through the tour, I was told about the history, the stories, and even the legends behind those old buildings. That was my favorite part! Recommend this tour, absolutely.
I arrived at the time I said the experience 5:30 pm to the meeting point and there was no one. They should respect the schedules
