Byob Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour Of Philadelphia

Six of us (parents and adult kids) did this tour last weekend and it was fantastic! Nick our guide was funny, fun, and made the whole tour a great time. Three short stops, lots of great stories about the city, and fun drinking games. We loved it!

Nick was a great guide with a ton on knowledge. It was so fun to learn so much of our history in a humorous way.

It was a entertaining and educational tour all in one. Well worth the money. Nick was a lot of fun and had a great play list!

Wasn't impressed nor was the tour funny. I wish we would have done a different tour. Wasn't pleased with this tour

Nick was very accommodating for our group and even opened up an opportunity to roast the groom in our bachelor party. None in my party did, granted, but the consideration meant a lot! The drinking games were great too! And Sheila’s game can’t be beat!! She was a great sport, too. Thank you all so much!

Our tour itself was fantastic—Nick was our captain, and he did a great job. However, the post-tour customer service from the owner, Carl, was incredibly frustrating. I contacted the company multiple times requesting the receipts for my payments and received no response. I only finally received them after I threatened to leave a negative review. When Carl finally sent the receipt, he claimed he had already sent it before, ignoring the fact that he had been sending it to the wrong email address—a mistake I had already pointed out to him multiple times. Instead of apologizing for the typo and the delay, he continues to argue and go back and forth with me about it. Come for the tour guides like Nick, but be prepared for a headache if you need any billing or receipt help from management.

Nick was an amazing tour guide. Super fun, engaging and knowledgeable. We did the walking tour in the am and enjoyed it so much we did the byob trolley tour that afternoon!

It truly is funny! We brought our own seltzers-the bathroom stop in the middle was gr8! Saw alot and did do the steps to see Rocky!!! Tim was an excellent guide❣️

Great mix of humor and history. Tim was very entertaining and informative. Nice mix of driving and stopping. Of course the BYOB is a big plus. Gave us a good sense of what was where. Driver very competent and talented!

The 4 of us went yesterday. It was excellent! We laughed alot and saw alot. Tim was the best guide-threw in his own humor which made it so special. Climbing the steps to get to the Rocky statue was the best!!!! Definitely recommend doing!

The tour guide told played entertaining music and told entertaining stories related to Philadelphia. The bus driver was a very safe driver!

We loved the smaller size of the tour, the perfect balance of stops and driving, the awesome tour guide and driver and the length of the tour. We even had a quick bio break for those imbibing! We covered the perfect amount of distance and history for a day trip to Philly. Highly recommend!

It is stated that it is a BYOB tour but what actually happened was a big focus on consuming as much beer as possible… with little focus on historical events.

Such an amazing time. Be ready for a party!

We took this tour just an hour after arriving in Philly. It's a great way to get your bearings in the city, and decide what you'd like to go back to visit. Our guide was hilarious but also informative. When he learned there were British visitors on board...well...you can imagine how many revolutionary jokes he made at their expense. It was all good natured! I highly recommend this trip.

It’s basically a booze bus dedicated to Ben Franklin. It’s a fun, offbeat way to tour the city and tipple along the way. Plan on not driving home.

We had a great time on this tour. The vibes were high and it was fun to talk with other travelers during the stops (there are 3 stops). I loved the open air trolley!

Best tour ever!!!!! Tim and Nate were fantastic in driving us around the historical area and giving a hilarious yet informative tour. Tim gave great recommendations for food and coffee. Would highly recommend this tour.

BYOB tour was so much fun. Drinking repsonsibly and singing as we were driven through Philly was such a great experience. Everyone on the bus joined in as well as those we passed on the street. We even made some friends along the way too.

Nick and Sheila are national treasures! My son broke his foot but we still wanted to see Philly this was the perfect way and super fun. Smiles, laughs, new friends for 2 hrs and karaoke!! If you’re fun do this tour!

Highly recommend going on a BYOB comedic tour of Philly! The tour guide was the best!! And after people on the street were cheering at us he said “Philly gets a bad reputation but we truly love our city and we want others to as well” and that’s the feeling he gave as well. And it’s just a fun tour! Would say beware of from being kids but even then it will still be fun. We had a great group!

Our experience was amazing. We arrived to the area late and very close to our tour departure time. We had all our luggage with us but our driver Trina and Nick were amazing. They accommodated us very well past our expectations. Nick was very knowledgeable and our driver Trina (I hope I'm not saying her name wrong) was very pleasant and she made me laugh. Trina our driver took all the frustration I had in the beginning away and I left that day with a 😀. I would definitely do this again and again. Great Philadelphia hospitality.

We had a great time on this birthday trolley ride for my husband! they even sang happy birthday to him! Our guide Tim was awesome, he was funny and knew a lot about the city. we will be coming back for more!

This was educational and entertaining. We had fun. He talked really fast, and well, the dad jokes were abundant.

Heard this was a fun tour of Phily so we booked. It was awesome! Tim was our guide and he was really funny but also knew the history of everything so it was a good balance of info and entertainment. The fact that you can drink on the tour was icing on top. Would highly recommend

Best history tour I have ever been on. Jon is the most genuine, entertaining, lovely tour guide! And Nick (our driver) was incredible. Jon really makes you feel like a part of Philly. If you’re going to do a tour, do this one!

I had a beautiful experience on the BYOB tour. Tim had some funny, corny jokes that made everything even more enjoyable. We were actually running behind, and they patiently waited for us — which we truly appreciated. I came with friends visiting from Mississippi, and they loved the experience as well. We enjoyed our wine, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe.

They were amazing. We were running late do to torrential downpours along the way. We got there and they said if you can find a parking space we’re gonna go around the block and we’ll pick you back up. The tour guide/owner is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend them.

We are a family of four and our girls are 14&17 at time of the trip and they LOVED it and still talk about it. The whole group was awesome. We believe the driver was Shanda? And host Nick? I’m bad with names but truly a great and fun time- BENJAMIN FRANKLIN!!!!! Keep this tour up.

This was so much fun! A great way to see the sites of Philly, laugh and enjoy an afternoon outing. We had a ball and didn’t want it to end. 100% MUST DO!!

The trolley apparently broke down so we weren’t able to have the tour. We were, however, told that we’d be refunded and offered a tour today at a different time instead.

This was so much fun, Nick was our tour guide and gave us a history tour along with a lot of laughs. We had a thunderstorm mid tour and it didn’t dim the enjoyment because of the atmosphere that was set from the get go. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Philadelphia!

Tour guy is very funny and awesome human being. He was willing to go the extra mile to make sure we have everything we need and answer all our questions to the best of his knowledge.

What a great time! Not only was Nick informative and knowledgeable about the city of Philadelphia his humor and banter made it so much fun! We would highly recommend!!!!

I wish we had gone to the liberty bell. We had to go after the tour in order to see it. We stopped three times (15 min each stop) and this took up the majority of our time. We went to the Love Park, got a Pic, whole foods for drink and bathroom, and then Rocky Statue but there were so many soccer fans, we couldn't get an actual Pic without them in it. Overall, it was entertaining and we learned a little. I think i wanted both more humor and more education.

This tour was so fun and actually hilarious! It was informative without being boring and hit major sites. We had so much fun and would love to do it again.

Oh my gosh, this is such a fun time. Such a good party group and Nick was just unbelievable as a tour guide!

A lot more drinking & party mode than history & tour info (other than BEN FRANKLIN) but fun none the less!

A fun way to take a tour of Philly! Great (often funny) narration by the owner. Lots of interesting trivia. Gives you a really good sense of the city. You start at the Betsy Ross House and cover a lot of ground - AND you can bring your own libations and snacks! At times the music got a little loud - but the open air trolley and spirited commentary were excellent.

Fun afternoon in a beautiful open air trolley. Tim went out of his way to accommodate my family. Caring you rarely get these days. Top notch!! Thank you. 100% recommend!
