The Inn At Penn, A Hilton Hotel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spill the Beans has been one of the highlights of my trip, and AJ is a huge reason why. Over the past few days, I’ve had the pleasure of stopping in several times, and every single visit has been exceptional. AJ is an absolute gem. She goes out of her way to learn guests’ names, welcomes everyone with genuine warmth, and creates the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back. You can tell she truly cares about every customer who walks through the door. It’s rare to find someone who combines such professionalism with authentic kindness, and it makes all the difference. She didn’t just make great coffee—she made each visit feel personal and memorable. If you’re in town, do yourself a favor and stop by Spill the Beans. And if AJ is behind the counter, you’re in for an even better experience. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable. You are a wonderful representative of what great hospitality looks like!

Centrally located in University City, with easy access to good restaurants and cafes. Well served by public transportation which makes it easy to get to most places you may want to visit while in Philly. Modern hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. Decent gym.

The place is walking distance to the University of Pennsylvania that’s why we chose, it’s a Hilton hotel so we always go and patronize. The hotel is clean and luxurious, they just renovated they said. Staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast Buffett or à la carte, Buffett recommended. Our server Rashon very courteous, deserves special mention. It’s also near groceries restaurants and local bars. It’s a10 minutes drive to downtown, you can walk if you prefer to sight see and exercise. Overall recommendable place to stay when in University City.

We stayed at The Inn at Penn in December and had a good experience, but after returning recently, I was genuinely impressed by how much it has improved. The updated rooms and refreshed lobby are really well done — it feels clean, polished and very comfortable. Our room had plenty of space to actually relax and settle in Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful, the whole experience felt seamless, and the new café in the lobby was such a nice addition. Valet was also quick and easy now that the parking circle has reopened, which made arriving and leaving so much smoother. We ate dinner at Louie Louie both nights and loved it — delicious and convenient during a busy trip. We were already repeat guests but The Inn at Penn exceeded our expectations this time—we’ll absolutely be back.
