Stayapt Suites Harrisburg-hershey

The rooms are huge, and clean. It's great when you want to stat for a week or so. It's a hotel with apartment facility. I wish they have more of this around the country. Plenty of parking space too.

I have lived here at the harrisburg stayapt for a little over a year now and Darrelle is always very helpful and is one of the reasons I extended my stay. Staff is excellent, there's laundry on site, a nice outdoor area it is everything I need. Its very clean and modern the oven is a bonus! I really love living here its in a perfect location surrounded by eateries and shops. Excellent staff very helpful especially Darrelle

This is a great concept for a hotel. Saved us lots of money being able to cook meals in our room instead of eating out all the time. I loved that it had a full kitchen but the room was filthy. Bed sheets were stained, mattress cover was covered in pet hair, toilet in bathroom had mold ring around it from not being cleaned in some time. Air conditioner vent in bedroom was covered in hair, dirt and dust. All dishes in cabinets had to be washed before being used because they had food and hair on them. All corners in all rooms had piles of hair, dirt and dust. All surfaces were covered in dust. Walls were dirty. Furniture was stained. Bed was hard as a rock. We stayed there 7 nights and saw a cockroach in our room last evening there. I wish I could post photos i took of condition of room. I went to Walmart and purchased cleaning supplies and sheets for bed and cleaned room myself. Cleaning standards really need to be better. Room was in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Employees and residents stand right outside of door to parking lot smoking pot and carrying on. I really wish they had better cleaning standards because I want to be able to stay at this brand again but this is second location we have stayed at and they were both not clean.

Place looks exactly like the pictures posted! Everything felt newly renovated! Many ppl complained about funky smells but the room I had didn't have any nasty smells which was an A+!! 2 Queen beds were super comfortable, bathroom, kitchen, dishwasher, sink, fridge, counter tops were all nice & clean. However, in between the kitchen towels that were folded nicely, I had found a black curly hair! The sofa bed wasn't as comfortable unfortunately, found a click beetle on top of the bed sheet the next night when I unfolded the sofa bed, there were a lot of little gnats flying around outside & inside, bathroom needs a different type of curtain since when the water hits the curtain it drips down & soaks the foot towel on the floor!! Recommended to put up a few extra hooks in bathroom as there weren't enough space to hang stuff up. The biggest turn off for this location were the 1-3 SHADY LOOKING ppl sitting out front in their chairs every night smoking weed, especially coming home after 8PM!!
