The room was spotless, and the location was excellent—safe, within walking distance of the University of Pennsylvania, and close to many great restaurants. I was very pleased with my stay. If I return to Philadelphia, I would definitely choose to stay here again. The host was also incredibly friendly and responsive, answering my messages promptly whenever I had questions.

Their website says they're available 24/7, but that's not really the case. When I got to the property, there were two people at the entrance who tried to get in—they were trying to peek at the code—just as I was unlocking the door. I sent a message asking for help to confirm if they were guests, but I didn't hear back. I stayed for a week, and I never heard back from them. There are a few things that need improvement, like the bathroom door handle, which was about to fall off.
I booked a Queen room for US$1,721 for 5 nights in May 2026 (University graduations). Got room #3D: a vastly different room as shown in the any and all pics in the Kasa de Niche website: no night tables or night lights, no small sofa, no pics or wall decor as shown in the website. The queen size bed against the wall, no space for one of the two guests to walk to in or out of it. The #3D room looked "tired" and worned out. But it was quiet, particularly at night, which was great. And the bathroom was similar to the pics shown at the reservation (Kasa website).
Enjoyed staying by UPenn campus. The building has a code lock as well which was nice and made us feel safe. Location is right by the subway to take into the city which was convenient. Lots of food places nearby, as it is UPenn campus. Just be cautious at night. Room was spacious enough for 1-2 people and was clean. Bathroom was nicely tiled and clean. Water bottles were provided on the ground floor of the building which was nice. Little noisy at night with car horns and people but didn’t bother us.
Clean rooms, comfy bed, great water pressure in shower. Free use of the washer and dryer was extremely convenient for us through our stay. Stayed multiple days without issue. Easy check in and check out. Definitely do research and find a location to park ahead of time as this proved to be very difficult on our end. You cannot park in front of the building for long periods of time. It is located on a very busy street but the noise did not bother us at all overnight. We slept great! Overall a great place to stay that is very affordable.
