Great hotel. Spacious, clean and modern rooms. The beds were very comfortable too. Location is great. I was in town to see the Penguins and PPG Paints Arena was in walking distance. There's also plenty of restaurants nearby. Only downside is some maintenance issues. I had two different rooms and in both the smoke detector low battery alarm kept going off. The shop in the lobby also wasn't well-stocked, so there were barely any drinks available. Overall, a great hotel.

Decent stay for the price. Friendly staff. Great location. Booked after my go to downtown Pittsburgh hotel was quoting rates that were higher than I wanted to pay. There was an issue with my first room, but it was resolved quickly by front desk staff. Nice fitness center. Also a restaurant/bar that I didn't go to. Interesting set up in old department store. Rooms on the 2nd level (6th floor) are the best. Can see the point others made about AC/heat being loud, but it didn't bother me. Lots of lighting options and outlets. Quiet and restful. Perfect for one night as solo traveler. Parking also easy at nearby Forbes Garage-just be sure to request the parking pass from them so you can get in and out. Parking rate of $29 for the day with full in/out is fair market value for downtown self parking in a garage.
Shoutout to front desk associate Natty! She was tremendously helpful during our stay over this past weekend. Any question I had or anything I needed assistance with, she resolved it effectively and efficiently! As a mom who was there for Pittsburgh Unifieds, the customer service she provided will not be forgotten, especially during such a chaotic time with college auditions. She was patient, and kind, while providing excellent customer service. Thank you again, Natty!
First off, our experience was truly made by the kindness and hospitality of the receptionist Tonika C. She was absolutely invested in making us feel welcomed, safe, and was wonderfully kind to talk to each morning. The hotel was great - spacious, clean, safe with secured access, and centrally located. The beds were comfortably soft, the shower ran endless hot water, and the room was quiet at night. But all that aside, Tonika really was amazing and really made our stay memorable ❤️ thank you for your kindness during our stay.
The main areas were super clean! As for our room it was spacious especially needing an accessible room. The bed was a bit high for me to be able to get up on my own. Beds should 24 inches high for manual wheelchairs and 36inches for electric wheelchairs. The bathroom door should be on the opposite side of the shower. The bench is great but should a bit off the wall for being able to move around to wash hair that was a bit difficult to do with the bench right against the wall. Also the soap and shampoo should not be mounted as I could not reach very well. Also could not reach to wash my hands with the soap being mounted. The grab bars were useful to balance because I had to hang on to get soap on my other hand because of the mounted shampoo and body wash. Also water got all over the bathroom floor so needs to be a better way to drain water so it doesn’t spill onto the floor. Also we had to ask 3 times for daily housekeeping and still we never got our sheets changed or trash being taken out or dirty towels being picked up. Had to go to registration to get more towels and wash cloths. Tv should also be bigger and more channels and added apps like Netflix so if someone doesn’t want to watch tv there’s more options that definitely needs to be updated. The food was decent for breakfast. Everything we needed was close by and parking was only $29 a day with in/out privileges which is nice. Downtown is super nice. The stay in of itself was nice.
