A very nice and welcoming hotel. It’s conveniently located close to both the train station and the main attractions, and everything is within easy walking distance. The service was great. My room was clean, comfortable, and smelled wonderful. The air conditioning was a huge plus in such hot weather. I was also pleasantly surprised to have a bathtub in my room, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
This is a very dated hotel. After the first night we complained, our mattress was falling to bits with the inside foam visible and it had a plastic sheet on which made me sweat and stick to the sheet - this kept me awake. The wall light sparked and flickered when switch on and the noise was awful. Not just the tram from outside, but every move or conversation from neighbours. The room was cold and l had to request at reception that the heating be turned on, we stayed in early February! They did move us, but their 'suite' was not much better, the rooms are small and the bathroom had a drain in the centre of the room and it was cut out from the tile floor and so you constantly stubbed your toes. The breakfast was very poor, a toaster but only French baton bread available. The eggs apparently didn't turn up and we had to ask for the bacon to be cooked some more as it was almost raw. The on site parking is only for about 10 cars and very tight on a first come first serve basis - and you pay for it. The location was good, but the whole hotel needs an update. It was not a pleasure.
Visited Concordia hotel in February 2026. The Concordia is a total disappointment. It is extremely old school provincial hotel, with no moderne elegance, has the wrong patina, no much taken care off. The staff is quite nice the rooms are relatively good size but feels old (like the entire hotel) and is extremely noisy, not from outside but from the other room. You will hear ALL discussions from your neighbors, toilets action and walk. And it is shocking that there is barely any lights in the room, only the bed lights, no main lights so it is impossible to work on the desk. Absolute disappointments at a quite salty price. it is worth 3 stars maximum. Just go to a Novotel or Ibis, will be way nicer.
Nothing, absolutely nothing about this hotel to be rated 4 stars. It's old, smelly and barely functions. They even still offer a physical key for your room. Avoid it if you can, because it's still in 80s hotel standards. If we knew, we wouldn't have stayed here, but the payment was done, and we couldn't get a refund. It's a very old property. You could hear anyone walking in corridors or in the room above you. There is only 1 Wi-Fi access point for the entire corridor, so don't expect an amazing connection. The breakfast was just whatever. No one from the staff felt motivated to work here. But they were still ALL kind to us. Hence the 2 stars of my rating. To be fair, the only modern part was the toilet/bathroom.
