No respect for the client and lack of business common sense. The hotel changed the room I reserved in booking without prior notice to me, only tell my that the room I booked is out of service and the updated my room with a triple beds for 6 people, which looks like a room for backpackers… and the dare to say that it a update. We’re a couple. By the way, the transport to the lodge is a nightmare too, out of city and a devastating dusty road.

Review of Calafate Lodge Patagonia Our stay at Calafate Lodge Patagonia was disappointing. The central heating was not working, and the only source of warmth in our room was a small space heater, which was far from sufficient. As a result, our room was extremely cold, making it uncomfortable to stay in. The restaurant was also poorly heated, adding to the overall chilly atmosphere. To make matters worse, the kitchen was closed, meaning no food was available. We had to order from a local delivery service just to have something to eat. The bar was open, but the bartender was so tired that we had to wake him up just to place an order. The shower had no hot water, which made for a very unpleasant experience. After a long day of exploring, a warm shower would have been nice, but instead, we had to deal with freezing water. On top of that, the bed was uncomfortable—the mattress had a dip in the middle, making it impossible to sleep without rolling toward the center. The lodge is located outside the city, accessible only via an unpaved road. While the remote setting might appeal to some, there is not much to do in the surrounding area. Overall, the lack of basic amenities, combined with the cold, discomfort, and inconvenience, made our stay far from enjoyable.
The place was average at best, the rooms were ok but quite small considering they have a massive land they could’ve built a bigger space. Walls were paper thin so you could hear everyone else speaking. Hot water was harder to get right 9/10 times. WiFi was probably the only highlight here.
Andrea was our hostess. She left no detail untouched. I really enjoyed my visit. Great room, great ambiance, great views.
To be honest, this property was a disappointment. At the check-in, we weren't given any information about the property, breakfast time or dinner. The room was right beside the reception and you could hear everything as if you were in the same room. We asked to change the room which they did for a much quieter room. Apart from that, we noticed the rooms have no privacy, so if you are willing to enjoy the amazing views, be aware that someone in another room can easily see you. The bathroom wasn't properly clean and the drain was full of other people's hair and we could find papers from the previous guest in the room. Breakfast was included in my booking but when we arrived for breakfast we were told we weren't entitled to it. I had to show them my booking to get it and there was no apology for the mistake. The breakfast was way less than expected. They only had white bread, instant coffee, tea, cheese, bad quality cake, a very small portion of yoghurt and a very small portion of scrambled eggs (like 1 egg per person) The team was kind, however unapologetic for any mistake or inconvenience. For example, when we asked for more eggs the answer was: if you have more eggs the other guests won't be able to have any. So in my opinion, they weren't as organised as I expected to see in this property.
