Loi Suites Chapelco Hotel

The setting alone makes this property worth considering: our room had a gorgeous view of the mountains and the golf course, and the grounds felt peaceful and scenic. That said, the experience overall felt more basic than I expected from a luxury property. There were no scheduled activities or entertainment options typically offered at this tier of accommodation, which left the stay feeling a bit flat. Check in itself went smoothly enough, but the front desk had no record of my Platinum VIP status. When I requested a late check out (just from 10:30am to 12pm), I was told it would cost an extra $16 USD per hour. That’s when I brought up my status benefits, including late check out, early check in, a complimentary upgrade, and a welcome bottle of wine, none of which had been provided. To their credit, staff followed up with booking and eventually confirmed and honored those perks. Overall it was a fine stay, not bad, but not what I’d call seamless or elevated. For a luxury label, I expected the staff to be proactive about recognizing status and benefits rather than needing to be prompted. Beautiful views, so-so execution.

This hotel is absolutely terrible. The staff are extremely rude, hostile, and disrespectful. The rooms are freezing cold despite the extremely cold weather outside, and they deliberately turn off the heating, leaving guests to suffer in unacceptable conditions. This level of service is completely unacceptable and should be avoided.

Amazing location, beautiful views of the mountains, easy access to the river. Highly recommend

The hotel itself is fine but the restaurant is a disaster. We ordered a burger and it came with a pice of wire inside the patty! It could actually be dangerous
