Outstanding day exploring this wonderful region. Paolo was the BEST guide, extremely knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor.

This was one of the best tours this trip. It was fascinating to learn how the cheese and ham was made. Frank, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, personable and funny. Highly recommend.
Our guide Alessandro was knowledge of the Parmigiano & Prosciutto products, but arrived dressed with jeans below his waist, dirty nails, an uncured beard and moustache!! He was really unpresentable.... he was often couphing and scratching his beard ... and touched with the same hands the big piece of parmigiano.... I stopped eating!!! Overall tour was good, but guide neead to go to barbershop, Manicure and dress code!!
It was a great experience, it was something that I always wanted to see, a trip to see Parma’s factories. It was done with knowledge and warmth by the guides!! Thank you
The knowledge of the guide. The guides were friendly and patient at all the time. The transportation on time and the band very clean and comfortable.
Guide was fantastic and the experience was remarkable but we had a wait around twice for over an hour while we switched up adding and switching people to the next tour.
The PARMA tour while very interesting was extremely difficult to understand because the headsets were not clear and the factory sounds made it difficult to understand. However, it was still very interesting as was the prosciutto factory. However, don’t ever lose something on that tour. One of the members of our group lost her phone in the van and we tried desperately for five days. To arrange them forwarding it to our hotel in Rome. Three full days, they never answered our texts, phone calls or emails. The day after we returned to New York, which they were aware of, we get an email apologizing and blaming it on ridiculous reasoning. It’s a shame that the terrible follow up such a bad feeling for us.
It was great very informative. Mateo did a great job. I have some experience on dairy farm and some experience on cheesemaking. People who did not have the experience. It was explained very well for them.
Was a great tour. Mattia was incredible. Funny and great at explaining everything. Was very informative and fun!
Lots of info! Great people. Learned so much from the tour guide as well as the owner of the Parma ham company.
Paulo was great. Loved the way he explained everything. Had plenty of cheese and ham in our tour. It was a great day all around,
Learned a lot about local history of products produced and importance on Quality. This small manufacture has the Best Prosciutto we have tasted.
Mattia our guide was fantastic. He made the tour for us! I would highly recommend this tour with him as the guide. The family owned prosciutto was superb.
Was a great experience visiting both the Parmigiano Regiano cheese factory as well as the Prosciutto Di Parma factory . Our guide Fabiana has a lot of knowledge about both products. She showed extremely kind behavior answering all the questions and keeping the group motivated to learn and enjoy both experiences. I would be unfair on my evaluation if I wouldn’t mention Claudio. He is the owner and producer of the Prociutto di Parma factory visited. Very kind person and hard worker. An inspiration for all of us.
Very informative Mayea was so informative and pleasant! Our trip to Claudia's prosciutto was the a highlight
Mattea was an excellent host, he was so passionate and authentic, obviously this is close to his heart having been brought up in a family of cheese makers. The tour was fascinating and you really understand the labour of love that goes into these products. I will always be sure to buy and appreciate the real thing after this experience! Thank you Mattea!
An outstanding experience seeing how parmigiano reggiano is produced. The majority of work is done by hand. Visited a Parma prosciutto factory too and that was amazing and tasty. Tasted both cheese and prosciutto
The tour was very interesting and educational. Our tour guide Paul was fantastic and made the tour very enjoyable. I never gave much thought to the level of effort and the time involved in producing the cheese and Parma ham. 🤯
OK. Labeled as an intimate group less than 10 but turned out it was 4 groups of 8. Also 30 plus minute drive back and forth from pickup location. Tour itself was fine.
This is a very interesting tour if you want to know all the technical processes and stages of making Parmesan and Parma Ham. However, it is primarily standing around listening to the guide, and only involved tasting small amounts of two cheeses of different ages and one tasting of Parma ham (4-5 thin slices), with wine. This was also standing, so it was 3.5 hours on your feet. I think we expected more food for the cost of the tour. If you are looking for something that is primarily tasting, this is not the one; and for the 10am tour we still wanted lunch afterwards. Our guide was very friendly, funny and helpful, but could be a little difficult to understand some times. Still a pleasant and very interesting outing.
It was extremely well informed and organized. Very good and reliable transportation. Excellent guide !! Head phones were not that good.
The Parma ham tour was excellent. The Parmisiano Reggiano tour was very good, but could have been a bit shorter. Excellent guide.
Interesting tour. The owner of the ham business is amazing
This is a must do! Amazing experience and something out of the ordinary that you will remember for a long time.
Impressive tour of a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese maker. Saw 100,000 wheels of cheese being aged. Amazing that the only ingredients are milk and salt. Toured the Parma ham factory owned by Claudio and his wife. One person in our party was vegetarian so I was a little concerned, but the factory was spotless and no odors whatsoever.
Exellent tours! Amazing tour guide and facilities. Best prosciutto ive ever had. Claudio is the best!
Highlight of the visit to Emilia. Don’t miss the experience if you’re traveling in the region. The owners of the dairy and proscuitteria were both extremely friendly and happy to see people appreciating their family trade.
If you love Parmesan and Prosciutto I would highly recommend this tour! Such a great experience to see the process of how much time goes into making it and the process behind the scenes.
This was an amazing experience with the most entertaining tour guide. I will reccomend this tour to everyone who visits Parma. So informative and I learned so much.
Excellent Experience!! Such an insightful and interesting tour and our host Mattea was fantastic and super knowledgeable.
Fantastic tour led by Paolo. Very knowledgeable tour guide who was happy to answer any questions. Great tour that visits smaller family run producers. You gain a full understanding and get to see the whole process of making Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma. If you are a lover of good food and want a better understanding of how your food is produced this tour is a must.
Fun, informative, our guide was fantastic, and engaging. From the Parma reggiano, to prosciutto with Claudio was great. It was a fun, entertaining and feel good time. I wish I remembered our guide name.
Our guide Luca was great and provided excellent information. A great tour. Highly recommended.
Luca was such a good tour guide! Not only was the tour full of information, but he was funny too, which is sometimes hard to do in a second language. We learned so much and had a fabulous time. Highly recommend!!
Great experience! We learned a lot and we tasted amazing food. Luca , our guide, was really engaging and he made fun for my 10 years old ! Strongly recommend this experience
The guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The vans were very comfortable with air conditioning. We learned a lot about both cheese making and the prosciutto process and got to taste some pretty special samples.
This was a fantastic experience, and I’d highly recommend anyone going! Seeing the production of Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto Di Parma, as well as sampling both has to be a must do for everyone visiting Parma. The tour guide Gianfranco was exceptionally knowledgeable, and we got to see some really cool things. Our group ended up being only 4 people, so it was really cool and special to see everything up close.
The tour was great! Informative and fun, pace was perfect and Sabrina was very knowledgeable. I learned so much about Parmesan and Parma ham making processes and of course the tastings were delicious!
Great tour with knowledgable guide. Sampling the cheese and proscuitto was amazing. Sabrina was great!
Loved visiting the small cheese farm and small ham factory. Tour guide was excellent and the cheese and ham were phenomenal!
This was a great experience with a lot of information! Great guide and friendly location. You get to taste too!
The Parmeggiano tour was ok. The ham tour was not worth the trip . It was very basic and difficult to hear and understand
This was the tour that I didn’t know that I needed to take. Wow, how fun and informative this was. I will never look at Parmesan cheese or prosciutto the same way again. My husband and I now delve into all of the intricacies that go into making both of these wonderful foods. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the process and of course the area of Parma. We had a fun group there were eight of us in total. I would completely recommend this to anyone who is interested in how the cheese and hams are prepared and if I’m being honest, the taste testing at the end was pretty good too!
Great tour. Our tour guides, Sabrina, was very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the experience and recommend for all.
We truly enjoyed seeing how the parmigiana and Parma ham are made and certified. We saw so much - from the grass to the baby cows to the cheese being removed from the vats. We learned what a long and patient process it is and even how the certification process works. Paulo was a terrific guide.
Very interesting tour with lots informations. Good degustation also Excellent tour guide The driver was on time Small group for the visit
We visited Parma for our first time and wanted the “full effect” of what the area has to offer. This tour of the cheese and prosciutto factory did just that! Our tour guide a retired engineer was very knowledgeable and witty in his own way. The samplings at both factory were a real treat and beyond —delizioso! We got to meet the owner of the prosciutto factory and he took great pride in his product. Overall a great experience and a must do if you are in the Parma area.
Good experience and lovely tour guide. It was cool to see how the cheese and ham are made, the group wasn't huge and we got to meet the locals who own and produce these products. Fabiola, our tour guide, made the visit by being super knowledgeable, funny, and kind.
Fabiola was an amazing tour guide, she was lovely and very kind, and super informative! She clearly has a great relationship with the owners of the companies the tours take you to which made the experience even more fun. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
Really great experience, was cool to see cheese and ham being made and so close together - samples were delicious Fabiola was excellent as a guide, she was really knowledgeable, really accommodating and friendly and effortlessly switched between Spanish, english and Italian- really impressive
