Walking tour with 3 stops, local pastry and coffee, Parmesan cheese sampling, lastly charcuterie with lambrusco or white wine
I had a great tour. Really interesting. Thanks very much
Giada is an amazing tour Guide. The tour was very informative and fun. The people were really friendly and knowledgeable about their products.
We had a great experience! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing many interesting insights along the way. The locations were beautiful, and we really enjoyed tasting the local specialties. Highly recommended!
Informative and fun walking and tasting tour of Parma. We really enjoyed it. Thank you.
This food tour was an outstanding way to experience Parma. Our guide was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, making the walk through town highly enjoyable. A major highlight was visiting a local shop to watch a full wheel of Parmigiano-Reggiano being cracked open, followed by a tasting of three distinct ages of the cheese. The tour ended beautifully at a local restaurant with delicious snacks and a chance to learn even more about the region's history from our guide. An excellent, well-paced experience that I highly recommend.
Fantastic experience. We would do it again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Parma! Our guide was fantastic!. We have used local guides many other times, but she was the best we have experienced.
Guide was good, very pleasant lady, local and knowledgeable; however food was limited to one pastry (at beginning of tour!), then three slivers of Parmesan cheese, and finally a glass of wine with 4 types of meat and a cube of Parmesan cheese.
Giada our guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Very memorable tour. Good mix of history and food tasting. Thank you.
We met our guides and they were both lovely! This was a walking food tour with historical details about Parma given along the way. We first stopped at a Pasticceria for the most delicious dessert treat. Next was Parmigiano Reggiano tasting! It was so interesting to hear about the history of the cheese and how it's made. Last stop was wine and prosciutto, absolutely phenomenal
Our tour was wonderful. The guide was knowledgeable and shared history, news and interesting tidbits about the city and near by countryside! I highly suggest booking this and learn g more. The cheese tasting was among the best things, and learning more about the great cheese: Parmesan!
Our guide had to speak both english and french to our group. She did an amazing job managing our group of four.
The walking tour was excellent and a lot of fun as it had the right blend of local history and tastings of Parma’s sweets, cheese and cured meats and wines. The guide was so knowledgeable and answered our questions so easily. We bought some meats and cheeses on the tour for dinner that night and they were wonderful.
Truly enjoy. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. All the foods we tasted were delicious. Would reccomend to friends.
Jada was so kind and a delight to have the tour with. She was extremely knowledgeable and both my mom and I agreed that meeting her for the tour was the highlight of our time in Parma :)
What an amazing time I had. Great products and lot of compelling information about cheese and Parma. Highly recommend.
We had a great time in Parma and I highly recommend doing this tour if you want an insight on some of the typical products of the region. Our guide (Giada) was clever, well prepared and entertaining!
A fantastic wonderful exceptional experience, congratulations indeed.
Very nice and pleasant experience. Our guide was terrific! She provided a lot of good information and gave great recommendations.
My husband and I booked this short tour at the last moment. Another couple was supposed to join us, but we're no-shows, so lucky us, we had Giada to ourselves for the morning. It was very enjoyable, very recommended. Lovely parmesan!
The tour was professional and informative. I got to see many of the sites and eat many of the delicious food on offer, especially the parmasan cheese. I will have to come back with the family next time.
We had a great time during this food tour. Giada was knowledgeable about the city of Parma. We got the chance to visit the duomo which was spectacular. We really enjoyed this tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Parma
We had a wonderful tour in Parma - it was the first "food" tour we ever did, and was the perfect combination of sites, history, and eating!
It was a good balance of getting to know the main points in Parma and taste some of its speciality . The tour guide was great , really friendly and knowledgeable.
The tour was a great choice to spend a free afternoon! Enough to be introduced with the city. I would choose it again, absolutelly recommend it! :)
A very beautiful experience to discover the history of the city of Parma in more detail while discovering and tasting traditional Parma products! A great guided tour with a very kind, attentive guide who had plenty of anecdotes to share. Big favorite for the parmesan tasting!! But also for the tasting of the typical Parma cake or even the local charcuterie! I recommend this activity 100% if you wish to discover the gastronomic culture of Parma in more detail.
Our guide was very nice; she took us to visit the different monuments of Parma, we tasted Parmigiano made from milk of different cows, aged 24, 36, and even 80 months, we learned a lot about Parmesan, then we were able to taste different hams and salami, and enjoy a very good white wine, not to mention the very good local pastries. Our guide speaks French very well and explained to us the history of Parma and why the Duchess of Parma had the buildings painted yellow (the rest is for you to discover 😉).
Great experience, highly recommended. For those who want to concentrate in two hours a monumental and culinary historical experience.
Nice experience. All very good and the guide nice and very helpful. Of course, she's also good.
I have already participated in the tours proposed by this company in other cities and they have always been very interesting, interactive, fun and light. During the visits you can taste many high quality local products, accompanied by detailed explanations of the guide. The guide is very competent and friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The quality of the wines and food is very good and you can see different views of the center of Parma.
Very pleasant experience: the guide, Giada, is kind, nice and prepared. I enjoyed the various tastings in the typical places of Parma. In particular it was a pleasant surprise to taste Lambrusco (still unknown to me) and the various maturations of Parmigiano Reggiano.
The two stars refer to the visit itself and not to the very good and prepared Giada guide. The visit to the coffee and pastry shop very good.... Disappointing the tasting of Parmesan very poor a crumb standing head on in a tiny shop in front of the cheese counter between a customer and the other who came in to buy in the description speaks of a visit to the laboratory that there is therefore a little 'DECEPTIVE. Tasting of good cold cuts but of the 2 Malvasia and Lambrusco wine tastings mentioned in the description actually you had to choose one of the two are not included both. I had the impression that I had paid for a service that I did not receive.
