Hotel Parma & Congressi

Came here with my two kids, kinda looking for somewhere really basic to sleep for the night but wasn't expecting this: The rooms were exceptionally clean and the bath had a spa setting on it so I could easily lure my kids in to wash their hair in the morning, we had three individual beds so no complaining on who gets said bed, beds were extremely comfy and the air-conditioning worked a treat being as it was summer. Breakfast was lovely with fresh juices and nice, buttery crossaints. Staff were very kind and pleasent, and even let take a sneak peak at the pool when it wasn't open. Great location as just off the motorway so could just pop in for the night. Definately will be returning.

Stayed in April in room 398 and a very disappointing experience for a 4-star hotel. The room had no real window: only a glass door opening onto the outside passageway. It was impossible to ventilate without being seen, offering no privacy whatsoever. The room was extremely dark, even with all the lights on. Working conditions were very poor. The bathroom was dangerous: the bathtub was high and built-in; I almost fell getting out. The furniture was stained: the armchairs had large, visible marks, unacceptable for an establishment of this category. Ventilation was inadequate: I had to open the outside door after showering, which is completely unacceptable. For a hotel advertised as 4-star, the level of comfort and safety was clearly not acceptable.

Worst experience ever! No respect to the customer. I had a confirmed booking with this hotel and found closed doors, it was closed for maintenance. I haven’t received any previous notice of the closing and needed to find another place to sleep last minute. It spoiled my trip, sadly. Be careful with this place. I’m posting this information so other people don’t get caught in the same situation.

Large hotel. Room was clean and the matras was firma, slept like a baby. A bit inconvenient I could keep a bar tap running. Food was basic but good
