The guide was chatty and friendly, which was a good start, getting through the queues was also a big plus. It was crowded with waves of tourists but we could still hear her and move through the crowd. The buggy ride was definitely worth it - and fun-as you could imagine walking in the garden could turn into a traipse. Wear trainers as there hundreds of steps and large uneven cobble stones in the main courtyard at the front. The time went so quickly I would have liked more time to explore and reflect in each room. Although the weather was unfortunate and golf cart unavailable to us on the day we visited, Jennifer our guide was outstanding. She is personable, kind, extremely knowledgeable and offered excellent insights, history and entertaining stories on our tour throughout the gardens and the palace, pointing out intricate details and information from the sculptures and fountains in the gardens, to the the many, many stories behind the history of the palace and its people. If you are able to request Jennifer for this tour, I would highly recommend to do so. Our teenagers faces with some of the stories were hilarious & they are often bored on these types of tours but were thoroughly engaged and really enjoyed this purely because Jennifer made it so interesting. Having the headpieces so we could hear only Jennifer throughout the tour was also great; we were able to hear all the details no matter if we were a bit separated in the crowds. Thank you Jennifer.

Laurent was excellent in all aspects of the tour. His standard talk at all locations was informative and at the right level for our group. But better, he knew how to respond to our multiple questions and comments. He knew exactly where to stand in crowded rooms so we could hear. He was brilliant at maneuvering through the surging crowds in a way that his charges, all in their late 70s, could weave around the selfie takers and those with sharp elbows. A wonderful, informative, and mind expanding time.

Great tour with Grigor. He made the Versailles experience a memorable one. His knowledge was a combination of history and pop culture. It made the tour truly different! Highly recommended especially if you’re lucky enough to go with Grigor.

Fantastic from start to finish. We opted for the car service pickup at our hotel and it was seamless from there. Our drivers, our greeter and our tour guide were all exceptional. We saw all the highlights, learned so much about the history and still had energy to spare at the end. Highly recommend the golf cart - Versailles is incredibly expansive!

Our tour with Giovanna was great! She is extremely knowledgeable and a delight to be with. She has a wealth of knowledge about the gardens and the palace. What made this tour so wonderful were her stories of happenings in the Royal families and her deep knowledge of France’s history to make it all fit together with the gardens, amazing art and palace rooms and design over the centuries.

My husband and I did the “Versailles Royal Palace and Gardens Private Tour by Golf Cart” tour and it was worth every penny!! Our tour guide “Z” really made the day. We enjoyed hearing his wealth of knowledge, he welcomed all of our questions and he really shares his enthusiasm for the history of Versailles with us. Versailles is so huge and it was packed, but Z did a great job of knowing when we should enjoy the gardens outside and when to dip inside to avoid the rain. And he has a way of delivery that also kept us amused throughout the tour. We just loved his style! And we really enjoyed the tour!

We had an absolute blast on our first trip to Versailles, and Meng made it truly special! She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the history, turning it into a fun learning experience that gave us a whole new appreciation for the art and style of the palace. Our family enjoyed a morning with Meng at Versailles— she toured us through the gardens (with golf cart) and in the palace. Meng was WONDERFUL! Not only was she very knowledgeable, but her sense of humor as she explained the history made the experience that much more memorable. I loved that she provided us with headsets we could hear her clearly during the tour as it can be difficult with so many crowds. She also took some beautiful family photos for us, which we really appreciated! Highly recommend touring the gardens this way as I’ve been in the past on foot and was not able to see all the fountains due to the short time frame given by most tour companies. The palace is very impressive despite not being completely furnished. 10 out of 10—- highly recommend and request Meng!!!

We loved this tour! Half the time in garden, half the time in palace. We were very happy to choose the golf cart option; the grounds are so vast it would have taken multiple hours to see everything on foot! Giovanna was a wonderful guide.

We toured Versailles via golf cart and public areas with Achille guiding us. I can't imagine touring any other way or with any other guide! Achille was very knowledgeable, guided us through the crowds with ease, and explained the history in ways that made sense. The golf cart portion was fabulous as it gave us an overview of the size of the property.

Our tour of Versailles gardens and palace was outstanding. It included a golf cart for the gardens which was helpful for our older family member. Our guide Alex was exceptional! He was friendly, helpful, had a good sense of humor and, most importantly, extremely knowledgeable.
