The tour through the palace was great. However, the gardens were disappointing. The map we were given was useless because nothing was marked. In the gardens, there were no bathrooms we could find, no place to sit down, no place to get or buy a drink or food, and no one to ask - other than other tourists who were also looking for the same things.
Omar and Khloe were incredible. Omar taught us so much while keeping it fun! He was very polite and attentive to the whole group. Khloe was also super kind and helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting!

Omar was magnificent and he was very informative. He apologized for his accent but he was the easiest to understand when he spoke English. We are from Toronto, Canada and sometimes it was difficult to understand some Parisians because we couldn’t speak French. He also, introduced everyone in the group so that we were familiar with each other.
This was my third tour with city wonders and yet again was an excellent experience! Going through the company was well through it and helped beat the crowd lines, so you were able to get in faster and spend more time exploring. You have plenty of time to visit the palace and if you do the garden (which highly recommend to include) you also have plenty of time to explore them.
Was a great tour and worth the money. Omar was our tour guide and skipped us to the front several times. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with the group. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We had Oomar, very knowledgeable and gave great background insight prior to entry to make the tour more interesting. After the interior tour we saw the gardens and explored the shops.
We had Omar as a guide who was amazing, really made the tour exceptional with his knowledge and involving everyone in the group. He remembered everyone's names! The tour is the perfect amount of time to look around the building, and we paid extra to look at the gardens which was well worth it. Would highly recommend this tour and hopefully you'll be lucky enough to have Omar as your guide.

The guide: Giovanna was FANTASTIC. The earpieces are epic. The guided tour was very informative and educational. It lasted about 2 hours. The Garden access which which was in used with our ticket didn’t allow for us to take in as much as we hoped. Lucky for us we paid and boarded the Petit train for 9 euros. The length of time left over to explore the garden is not enough time. We only rode the train and had no time to see or visit Marie Antoinette’s hamlet or Grotto etc. it was still fun being on the train, but it felt rushed, almost like being on a Universal Studios backlot tour, but without the commentary. Overall, I’m glad I went, wish I had more time.
Great day - easy pick up, informative and amusing guided tour by Eric, stunning artwork and gardens to enjoy. My only critique would be that it was a bit rushed; another hour or two to slow the pace down and enjoy some more of the gardens would be great. Overall though, absolutely worthwhile and can certainly recommend

We really enjoyed our trip to Versailles, there so much to see! Eric our tour guide was really knowledgeable and funny, and he guided us through the palace well as it can be quite crowded. The staff at City Wonders were polite and helpful and very attentive. Everything ran on time!

Our palace guide Mauro was superb! He was knowledgeable, personable, funny and always professional. He educated us even while standing in line. The garden portion of the tour was enjoyable but due to a lack of electric carts some of our group were limited by how much walking they could do. Overall this is a tour worth taking.

Our excursion to Versailles Palace was awesome! Only weather could have been better. I recommend renting a golf cart for getting around the garden. It is a very large maze and it needs time to navigate, walking is not enough time if on a guided tour with bus schedule Thank you to our outstanding guides Cleo and Marcus!!!!
Great tour and guide, I would recommend this excursion. We had a very enjoyable tour of the Versailles Palace. We 1st met Cleo at our arranged bus pick up location. Cleo escorted us on the bus (both ways) to Versailles Palace where she handed us over to our fabulous guide Marcus. Marcus is extremely knowledgeable about the palace and it's history. We had free time to explore the gardens on our own. We did not rent a power golf cart and I wish we had. The garden is very large, overwhelming and difficult to navigate...it's a maze! The golf cart would have made it easier to see more. We enjoyed a very small part of it and could not cover all on foot. After our visit we enjoyable a ham/cheese croissant & coffee in one of the side buildings. We would have enjoyed lunch in the garden but we could not find the restaurant...even with the map🤣 Thank you Cleo and Marcus for making our day & palace experience awesome!

Omar was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and was able to navigate the palace with ease even when it was standing room only.
The tour was excellent and Omar was engaging and insightful and down right hilarious! The only issue we had was that the meeting place confusing- they really needed to just report that it was in front of the church that is diagonally across the street from the giant Hyatt Regency hotel.

This was a great experience. Our guide, Carolina, was amazing. She gave us the history and interesting facts; it was never boring! And helped us to navigate the crowds and see all the places well.
Traffic in paris with alot of blockages. Late one hour due to road blockages on route to meeting place. Very disappointed with road blocks.

Everything was great left on time very welcoming greeters and bus driver. Tour guide very knowledgeable with history of Versailles great positive attitude would answer all questions. The gardens a must rent the golf cart or take the train. Only reason was not perfect was the amount of groups allowed at one time, way over crowded and we had an early tour 11 am.
Unfortunately we left an hour later with very little communication as to why we were all still standing outside on the street waiting for our bus to arrive. Meant to leave at 10am but finally left at 11am. On the bus there the guide mentioned once we get to the Palace they will confirm meeting time for departures. Once we arrived they had confirmed this would be at 3. We had to rush to be there on time and as requested, however still waited a further 20mins for others to arrive. Eventually the guide said we are leaving, however 10mins into the trip back to paris the guide makes an announcement that we are turning back to collect the others ad their guide had told them 4pm collection time. We turned back and waited another 20mins. We unfortunately lost another hour due to poor arrangements and communication which would have been valuable time that we missed in the gardens. Very disappointed
Despite a shaky start, this was a great experience that I would highly recommend. Our bus drive was about 45min late for our initial pickup, but City Wonders added that time back at the end so that our experience wasn’t cut short. Our guide Omar was AMAZING!! He was so knowledgeable and so personable and he was the real star of the show. If you have the pleasure of him as your guide, you won’t be disappointed.
This was an excellent tour of a magnificent site! Our tour guide was very talented in providing history on the royal families who resided in the palace; including sharing very interesting familial stories. Lunch options were good and we enjoyed eating out on the balcony above the courtyard. Our only disappointment was not having enough time to visit the gardens as thoroughly as we would have liked.

It was too crowded with few places to sit for people who are older or have trouble walking and standing. The tour was too long. We had to skip the garden tour which we had paid for. Truly a disappointment
We had a great time. The guide was very informative and explained everything really well, and the whole experience was very well organized. It’s also possible to skip the return bus and stay longer to enjoy the gardens.

Great to see the largest palace in the world and an excellent historical walk through from a highly superior guide Omar. If you can see Versailles do it with Omar he is extremely knowledgeable and personable and professional as well.
Our guide Mauro was informative, thorough, humorous and pleasant... He really put the art and architecture in historical perspective, although the crowds were awful and you can't pause for more than a few minutes before being rushed to the next room. The gardens merit a trip on their own, as they are vast and beautiful, and the separate Trianon gardens are not to be missed.
