Versailles Palace And Gardens Half Day Guided Tour From Paris

Juan was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about French history and shared so many interesting facts.

We had booked with a different company that used the train to get to Versaille. The trains went on strike today, Nov 5th, 2026 so the tour was canceled. This company went by bus, much better and cheaper than going by taxi. Good tour.

Florence was delightful and an excellent storyteller

This is a great tour! You need to know that the address brings you to an alteration shop. I lake around the corner and look for the flag with people in middle of triangle. We would have been left if it wasn’t for a lovely woman and her daughter who saw us looking lost!

Florence was great! She was very informative and polite.

Tourism agents who met us were very unfriendly for a tourism company. They all looked very Unhappy to be there! It was difficult to understand the guide as the palace was extremely overcrowded which made the experience underwhelming.

Florence was not a bad girl, and she is a very professional tour guide. We love her, and she’s very knowledgeable. We love you, Florence!

Camille was a superstar who made our experience so memorable with her intelligent commentary, wit and enthusiasm! The tour was a great juxtaposition between the humble home of a Master Artist, and the spectacular set-piece of the Absolute Monarch. Lunch too was greatly appreciated in a charming rural location. We thoroughly recommend the tour and Camille in particular who was génial! Lastly we want to mention the driver Hakim who drove with skill and safety all through the day.

Florence it’s an amazing tour guide

Tour was a disappointment. Departure location for the non- French speaking was very hard to find. Guide was ok within the palace, but the palace was unbelievably crowded such that it was difficult to hear the commentary and visualize what was being featured. Departure was a problem. We were told to be at the departure point at a certain time. The bus did not show up for another 30 minutes or so. There was very little seating in the parking lot while waiting.

Mr.Julian was excellent and very knowledgeable!! Very good sense of humor..Very courteous and ever smiling..Pls go with him to ta ke tour of the palace of Versailles if you get a chance! Pooja, Deepak & Family

Mathis was phenomenal, very knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting. Worth booking, bonus points you skip the long lines. Bus was great easy to find. Lots of walking so wear comfy shoes. They let you explore the gardens on your own.

Florence was a great tour guide

It was great. We did have to wait for the strike of the day to end, so we got in late, but we went to a great little to wait. It was lovely. When we got in, Hugo Hermer was able to get our tickets and maneuver on our behalf because of the temporary shutdown. He’s a really great guide! I highly recommend him for any tour in France. He’s very knowledgeable. Two of my friends left their bags on our bus, and he personally brought them to us. It was a wonderful day, and he made it great. Make the trip, and hire Hugo!

Monet’s garden and house was incredible; such beauty all around. The lunch was delightful. The tour Palace of Versailles was good, but was so crowded it was hard to enjoy it, thoroughly. Our guide, Alex, was outstanding; very knowledgeable and responsive.

The day was long and the itinerary was perfect. Alex explained everything well. The pace was good for me, a 70+ yo woman traveling with my sisters. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.

Florence has a lot of knowledge! She is very animated. She did a wonderful job. The only thing that I can complain about is sometimes she didn't speaking the microphone and it was hard to hear her Otherwise it was wonderful.
