Very personalized experience with just the two of us. Our host was gracious, knowledgable and shared lots of information about French wines, cheeses and the various French wine regions.

Absolutely one of the best times ever in Paris. It’s off the usual tourist path but happened to be right next door to my hotel. Guide was adorable, personable, knowledgeable and fun.

Charles was accommodating, friendly, funny, and very knowledgable about wine. He took all of our questions, however small or large. The event was just my friend and I, which was great, but this would also be fun for couples. The store is beautiful, and in a lively part of town. The cheese pairings were also brilliant. Overall, we left the experience knowing a lot more interesting stuff about wine, and with a few bottles of our own. The experience felt less like a lecture, or snobby, and more like a presentation from a very knowledgeable friend.

This wine tour was fantastic. There was a slight hiccup with the 3rd party booking agency that almost left us without a tasting, but the staff at Le Vin Qui Parle quickly and enthusiastically made things right with an impromptu tasting. This experience was the perfect blend (no pun intended) of fun, learning, laughing, and of course, sipping some wine. As American tourists, we found the staff at LVQP to be warm, welcoming, and not pretentious at all. No prior knowledge of wine is needed to have a good time, but for those who know a bit more about winemaking, the staff is happy to go in depth about any questions you might have. Overall it was a delightful afternoon; I would recommend for any group or family looking for a couple hours of sipping and relaxation.

First we got told we were 30 min late but we were on time according to the information from Tripadvisor. We were told there would be a big room with other people, but were sat in a small shop where people came in and out and shopped for wine. So the employee had to run and hep them the whole time. The instructions were also incorrect, we were told it was in an industrial shop and in the cellar. But we were just in a wine shop. Good wine and cheese and the employee was very knowledgeable, but the rest was a let down.

Such a nice experience! It ended up just being my wife and I, so we had a 2 hour private wine and cheese tasting in Paris, so amazing! Not only did we enjoy all of the tastings, we learned so much about the wines and different growing regions of France. I would highly recommend!

This was the best thing we did in Paris! Max is so much fun and so knowledgeable - we learned so much about the cheeses of France and wine and pairings. The portions were generous and delicious! A must do experience if you are visiting Paris, even if you’re not that crazy about cheese!

Unfortunately they cancelled our experience the day before which was a shame as there were no other days we could then book for. We did get a refund quickly.

Absolutely fantastic wine tasting experience! Nico is so knowledgable, we not only tasted amazing wines and cheeses but also learnt a great deal about the history and fundamentals of wine. We felt really comfortable asking questions and Nico really gave us his time and attention. Couldn’t recommend this enough for anyone that is interested in learning about wine, regardless of your existing knowledge.

Nestled in an unassuming neighborhood in the 15th, this small little storefront looks to be a wine shop but turns out to be a classroom. The room is small but comfortably accommodated 12 people. For the first hour, Nicolas shared maps and spoke of the various wine regions and appellations. My wife and I are wine enthusiasts and consider ourselves knowledgable, but we still learned a lot. And you really don't need to know anything about wines to enjoy this. He caters to all levels. Although the focus is on French wines, of course, Nicolas' knowledge extended to wine making regions around the world. The second hour was the wine with cheese pairing, and it was so worth the wait. All 6 wines were excellent (generous pours), especially when paired with the appropriate cheese. I was impressed with how well our host engaged with the group. He did a great job asking questions and soliciting opinions so that the experience wasn't a lecture. I'd highly recommend this to anyone visiting Paris and looking for a wine experience.

Nico was SO knowledgeable. Really fun to learn about different wines rather than the same old same old . The pairings with cheese were perfect.

Very educational experience. Nicolas knows a lot about wine and tailored our tasting to the group. The cheeses he selected paired perfectly with the wines we tried and the bread was the best I had eaten while in Paris. I learned about wine drinking etiquette, how wines are regulated throughout the world and how to properly try a bottle of wine. I highly recommend this experience. You won’t be disappointed.

The wine and cheese pairings were absolute perfection! The selections were expertly crafted and he guided us through the experience with care and attention to detail. I can confidently understand where wines come from, pair them with sumptuous foods, and interpret their flavors.

We had an amazing experience at Paris Wine Co with Nico! He’s an incredible teacher — we learned so much about wine, from understanding why it tastes the way it does to pairing it with food. Nico’s explanation of appellations and terroirs changed the way we approach wine entirely. Plus, I’ll never hold my glass the old way again! The session was both fun and incredibly educational. If you’re just looking to drink without learning, this may not be for you — Nico’s expertise is worth every bit of attention. The pairing of cheeses to wines was exceptional, and the wines themselves were top-notch. You walk away with an education and a truely enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

This was the best wine tasting we’ve ever done. We had an amazing time here with a great selection of French wines and cheeses to try, but on top of this we also learnt a great deal from the host. Thankfully we had a 1 on 1 tasting thanks to no other bookings on the day, and this was a great result. Nicos (apologies if there is a misspelling) truly is an expert when it comes to wine and to teaching others about it. Friendly, informal, hugely insightful, and overall a great celebration of French wine and winemaking as a whole! You’ll feel like an expert Sommelier who has travelled around all areas of France after leaving this wine tasting. We ate, we drank, we learnt, and we laughed. The best thing was that it was at such a great price! If you have a free day in Paris and you love learning about and drinking wine, this is essential. Recommended for couples, families, friends, old and young, any nationality!

An abundance of information about wine, wine characteristics, how to taste, how to evaluate wine, matching wine to cheese and foods. A taste of multiple cheeses matched with wines was experienced.

I went here with my father and my brother and the host was incredible. Don’t come here if you just expect to drink a bunch of wine and leave, because this is more than that. This was more of a class, where the extremely knowledgeable host teaches you how to properly appreciate and select different wines. The host was very accommodating and we had just a great time learning about everything. You must try this experience if you like wine and find yourself in Paris!

A high class review of and learning about wines in general and French varieties in particular. Over around three hours, we were given six very good sized samples, some excellent cheese and bread to accompany them and a most interesting education. This wouldn't be quite as appropriate for the really casual drinker, I think. There were only two of us taking part: I think it would have been even more interesting if more of us had been there to chat and share our thoughts.

We had the most incredible time with Nico! He brought such an incredible amount of knowledge to the table and was clearly very passionate about teaching about what he loves. He wad very patient with our less than elementary understanding of wine and wine tasting. We learned so much about wine and its rich history that plays into things we see today. I could spend an entire day learning about wine from this gentleman but would need much smaller tasting glasses to make it back to the Airbnb afterwards. Overall would highly recommended this to anyone even remotely interested in wine.

Nico is so welcoming and knowledgeable - we left feeling like we had learnt a lot without realising as it had been so fun! The cheese and wine portions are beyond generous, which given the quality of the products he offers is a true testament to giving guests an unforgettable experience even over profit. The location is super cool (good area, comfortable, well decorated) and it’s such a carefully thought through and tailored experience unlike some other wine tastings I have been to. Nico if you are ever in Lisbon let us know, we really enjoyed getting to know more about wine and you across the tasting. Anyone considering booking this, it 100 percent is a must (great value for money too)!!

Nicolas was a great instructor. Very knowledgeable and engaging. You could definitely tell he loves being a Sommelier. I feel like I now have my masters degree in wine. He was very nice and I did enjoy the wine and cheese as well as his vast knowledge.

He was incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job tailoring the information to our level of understanding of wine, even incorporating our various interests in politics and biology as they relate to wine. The wines were excellent, the cheese pairings were perfect, and all really high quality. We had a really fun time, full of laughter as well as learning loads. Highly recommend this experience!
