We received our ticket which indicated that the meeting place was the Pont au Double at 14.00. We arrived a quarter of an hour early and remained there until 14.20. There was no sign of any meeting place or of anyone who looked like a tour operator. We were eventually forced to join the general queue. This is a scam.
Overall quite happy, but they give bad info regarding the times, as the guide told us the line would last 15 minutes max, but in the end we finished the line in over 30 minutes, which is twice as long as promised, so don't listen to the guide on this point.
Very difficult to find our guide through a large crowd. We thought we could get into the cathedral, but we couldn't. The guide was good.
Nice weather. Interesting circuit. Historical knowledge of the guide not always accurate, but good architectural knowledge.
