Sergio the best guide ever! Best of the best. Try to book with him.
The tour was terrific from start to finish! Our guide Lee was friendly, clearly has an outstanding depth of knowledge about the artists, their works as well as general history, and was fun too!
Thyago was an exceptional guide. Very engaging and articulate with all the pertinent details. Best experience we’ve had.
Not clear about the meeting place. I waited in line at the wrong door. O liked Pasquale? but she was very soft spoken and it was hard to understand the accent.
Our guide was excellent and the museum is amazing. It was well organized, on time. Highly recommend !!
This was a perfect experience for people who may not be avid art lovers. Our guide took us to certain works of art which was wonderful for us. She had a wealth of knowledge of the artists. You also had time wander the museum after the tour if you wanted to see more.
Christophe was fabulous and very knowledgeable. It was my mom’s first time in Paris and he made it a wonderful first experience at the Musee D’Orsay! Thank you!
Our guide, Ana, was outstanding. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She hit all the highlights of the Orsay and gave us an in-depth discussion for all the art. Bravo! A+
Wonderful tour through Musée D’Orsay. I highly recommend using a guide here even though it’s more approachable than the Louvre. Brian was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable not only about the paintings but the progression of the styles through realism, Impressionism, and post Impressionism. He added valuable insight about the artists themselves and how their stories and relationships grew art out of the stodgy past into the beauty of the late 19th Century. Highly recommend.
Nancy has outstanding knowledge of art history and a wonderful engaging personality. She navigates Musée D’Orsay like a starship captain with clear focus.
Lili was a great guide and gave us so much interesting information and context about the artwork we were seeing at the Musee D'Orsay. She did so much to enrich our experience of the museum. Recommended!
Informative tour that covers highlights of the museum. Our guide, Emmanuelle was engaging and knowledgeable. There is so much to see that you should plan on spending additional time after the tour in the museum.
Our tour was excellent. Lili exuded deep knowledge and passion for the art in the museum and was a joy to tour with!
Tina had fabulous positive energy! Tour was organized and informative. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend!
Sergio was very informative and made art history interesting. He knew the art in the museum and was able to show his love of art.
We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the Musée d’Orsay with Fraçois yesterday. The 2/12 hours flew by and propelled us to revisiting paintings after our tour had finished as well as talking and reading more into the evening. History, humor, context and super fun. Could not recommend him more. 6 stars!
Great addition to the museum to have this small group guide, Manu--who had so much knowledge of art history to compare the changing times and the transition of art
Paloma was the absolute best guide! She’s super knowledgeable but also really fun and engaging. She really gave a historical context and depth of knowledge you miss without a really knowledgeable guide.
Paloma was an incredible tour guide! She was super knowledgeable but also very fun and engaging and really put the works into context which you just don’t get without a really knowledgeable guide
Intimate experience with highly knowledgeable guide, Manu. His enthusiasm and passion for Art History made learning fun. Manu also gave additional facts and comparisons using his I Pad.
Emily was wonderful! She was knowledgeable and great at showing us the highlights!
A very personalized tour of this wonderful museum. My guide was knowledgeable, engaging and adept at navigating the many art works to prioritize essential pieces.
So much iconic art and so little time, was our conundrum when considering a visit to the Musee d’Orsay. The reality was, without a personally guided tour we would be spending our valuable time searching for the art instead of admiring it. This tour by Babylon Tours Paris fit our needs perfectly. Zdravko (I think?) our guide, using his obvious Art History education and artistic personal experience made quick work of the maze of halls, corridors and galleries to efficiently put us in front of many major and popular masterpieces during our two-and-a-half hour tour. At each stop he would gather us in close to explain the unique features of each work, the background of the artist and the era in which it was created – which added significant depth to our experience. I’m mobility challenged, so without any big announcement to our small group, Zdravko would gather the group near a low wall or bench so I could sit while he spoke. A very nice touch and much appreciated. My wife and I found this tour to be money well spent and would highly recommend it! Michael & Cynthia McDowell, Austin Texas.
Christophe was fabulous. His knowledge of the Musee D'Orsay was impressive and he provided an outstanding overview of the Impressionist art period. The pace was great and we had adequate time for a mini-break. Highly recommend!!
Dina is so knowledgeable, keeps a good pace and gets us close to the important art. Helped educate us about the time period, artists relevance and differences! She liked how the exhibit rooms on the first floor helped her explain the transition of art style.
Our guide, Franseca, was extremely knowledgeable and the time spent with her was well worth it. She took us thru the history of the museum and the evolution of the impressionists. From 19th century artists to Van Gogh, Monet etc.
Musee D’Orsay is a beautiful building with even more beautiful artwork. The 6 person tour was the perfect size to move freely through the museum. The tour guide, Paloma, was the very best tour guide we have EVER had for any tour- and we have done many tours.
We loved this tour. Emily was so knowledgable about each art piece, explaining history and meaning behind each one. She captivated us and the time flew by. Plus this museum is special.
Adrien our guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us lots of attention! He took us to the very best pieces and explained the historical and cultural significance of each.
My sister and I (both early 60’s) thoroughly enjoyed our museum tour with Marcel. I appreciated how he told the story about the pieces he chose-they were engaging and thought provoking. Merci, Marcel!
Florent really helped 6 non-artists understand and appreciate the treasures in the Musee d’Orsay. He is passionate about art and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot and will have great memories of our visit thanks to him. We would recommend him highly.
Tina was one of the best guides we’ve ever had and we travel quite a bit!! Her English is great, her supplemental pictures on her iPad helped illustrate the point , and she was super informative about not only the art, but French history and historical politics. She gets an A+ from us!! Jim and Susan
Guide was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Many insights and art history lessons. Would recommend to anyone.
Our small group tour was over the edge. Ivana’s enthusiasm and knowledge invigorated us and made our first visit memorable!
We had a fabulous 6 person tour of the Orsay Museum with Miriam, our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, & she really made the experience very memorable for us!!

Stan was an excellent guide. We really enjoyed his tour!
Excellent tour of Orsay Museum! Our guide, Stan, provided up with interesting information. He was able to make sure we saw all the highlights of the museum and I really learned some art history. Would highly recommend!
Two hours could feel long for some but it worked well for us. We learned so much in the 2-hour time period. Our guide Christofe was knowledgeable and set a good pace seeing different works. We particularly enjoyed the insight on the artists’ motivation for painting their different works. All around enjoyable time spent in the Musee d’Orsay.
Pierre was a fantastic guide. We enjoyed a very well curated tour explaining the history of the Musee D’Orsay as well as a grand tour of impactful artists and their works. Very enjoyable and informational couple of hours. Pierre was so knowledgeable and thoughtful of our time and energy!
Stanislas has an excellent grasp of impressionist art and the Musee D’Orsay. It’s like taking a class, which is wonderful.
Our guide did a great job. He had a very detailed knowledge of all of the paintings and of the eras depicted by the paintings. I learned a lot.
Our tour guide Francois was terrific! He made our experience unforgettable!! So much knowledgeable and fun insight!! Loved this tour!!
Augustina was great! She was informative, knowledgeable as well as funny and personable. We enjoyed the tour.
