Jill was a wonderful tour guide. Her coverage of history from medieval to current times was a living walk in history! The pace was perfect. Jill was able to help us immerse ourselves in the experience!

Very cheerful, charming young guide. We really wanted the bare historical facts of Le Marais as there is so much to learn. We were slowed down by drawn out visits to 2 churches. It was very cold and we needed to keep moving. Rather too philosophical for us. More details of the Jewish history would have been interesting

I would give a 0 stars if it was an option. My tour guide never showed up. I waited 30 minutes in the designated spot. I called the support team who kept me on hold for 40 minutes while trying to figure out where the tour guide was, with no luck. I texted directly with the tour guide he did not respond, four times! I shared all of my screenshots of this communication with viator, in addition to a detailed explanation of events. To add insult to injury, Viator rejected my refund request without even LOOKiNG at all of my supporting documentation. This is outrageous! I will NEVER use viator again and am considering legal action for the waste of my vacation days, time and stress that this hs caused me.

Paolo was an amateur tour guide. His enthusiasm and deep knowledge of Paris / the Marais was truly impressive. Around every corner was another great story and in addition he answered all our other questions about French history and culture. Our tour ran very late but felt very short. Thanks for a memorable afternoon.

Paolo was a great guide to see a part of Paris. He was able to show us Le Marais through a wide variety of lenses - historically, architecturally, and the current culture and community. He shared his personal insights and experiences as well which helped paint a fuller picture both of the area and of Paris overall. It was a truly enjoyable morning and a wonderful opportunity to experience this beautiful city in a new way. I wish we had more time in the city because I would love to explore other areas of Paris with Paolo - he would be an excellent guide to check out Montmartre or St. Germain with too!

Our guide Isabelle was just THE BEST! She really knows the heartbeat of Le Marais- she gave us tons of recommendations for shopping food the best coffee the best cheese. She knows so much about the history of the area- we learned a lot! She is very personable- we loved our time with her. Please pass this onto her!❤️

The private tour covered the entire Le Marais area well and the guide was very good and provided detailed explanations. We were able to cover leisurely all the points of interest.

We had a wonderful walk. As Lucien learned our specific interests he quickly made sure to include information and locations of interests to us for an area with an overwhelming amount of history. We understood his English with no problem and he answered our questions thoughtfully and tied together hundreds of years of history.

Can’t recommend this tour enough. We toured Le Marais with Christianne. She is not only personable and pleasant but had a lot of knowledge to share about people customs and where to eat and what treats to sample (several of which she bought for us). We had a throughly enjoyable time on our 2.5 hour tour. Oh and she is also a photographer and got some great pics of us too! We thought the whole idea of touring with a local was pretty genius. We would use this service again if only we could stay longer 😢

Maxiime was a lovely young man who truly tried to provide a good tour. But sketchy English and poor knowledge stood in his way. This was his first English language tour. He had one set of directions for where we were to meet; we were provided with different instructions on the meeting point with the result that we started the tour at least 30 minutes late. As we walked along, with many fits and starts in finding the Jewish History Museum, we learned that the “guides” for this company are not professional, certified guides. But the company charges as though you were getting a real guide. Save your time and money.........only book certified guides when in the market for a tour.

Christianne was simply brilliant, she showed as little hidden gems that we simply wouldn’t have found by ourselves. She has a marvelous command of architectural and cultural history which she delivers in the most engaging way. Our two hour tour flew by and we left wanting more! Highly, highly recommended. Christian next was great. She adapted the route and pace to my wife’s mobility issue arising from breaking a bone in her foot shortly before departure on the trip. We learned so much about life in Le Marias area before and during the French Revolution in 1778. I was interested to see the flaunting of wealth by the aristocrats in their “hotels” which were huge mansions covering full square blocks. It is no wonder the impoverished masses were upset. The walk took us through the neighborhood with tasting options along the way. We experience the high end shopping area as well as the historic sites. I highly recommend the tour with Cristianne.

Lucien was just a pleasure to spend the morning with. We met him at a very easy location and we walked and he talked and gave us a beautiful tour of the Jewish quarter and the surrounding areas. This tour was fascinating and very enjoyable. Emilie was so friendly and flexible when arranging the tour. She tailor made the tour to include the specific interests of myself and my sons. She came to our hotel to meet us and her love and incredible knowledge of Paris were clear to see. Ana was the BEST! We were 4 mothers and 4 daughters and Ana gave us a tour of the Marais. She was very patient with us (the girls were first time visitors), and showed us so many interesting places tailored to the things we were hoping to see and do while in Paris. When in Paris again, I will absolutely book a tour with Ana again!

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful guide Rachelle is. We spent four amazing hours with her in the Le Marias. Her passion for Paris is palpable. She showed us places we would not have seen on our own. She introduced us to lovely shops and fantastic pastries. Spending time with Rachelle is like spending time with a friend. My 14 yr old granddaughter loved her as well. She even gave us the name of an amazing restaurant that we ate at, as well as other places to visit. Highest recommendations for Wan!! Wan was completely flexible when we wanted to change some of the sites we wanted to see. In addition, she took us to places that she believed we should definitely see. Wan taught us a lot in a short amount of time. One of our favorite parts of the excursion was our impromptu stop for coffee and discussion with her. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about our interests in culture, politics, and family life in France. We would love to meet her again to see any part of the city.

Emilie was a great guide. She gave us lots of details about the history and the evolution of the Marais. Sweets were very tasty. She was really nice and gave us additional tips for the rest of our day in Paris. We recommend her highly!

Emilie and I had a lovely tour despite rainy weather. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. I enjoyed being with her. The peeks into the past of the Marais with stories attached helped me to understand the history and changing times of the area through 4 centuries. I'm a senior and Emilie was willing to slow things for me and stop for rests when I needed them. We had a wonderful mix of perfume, honey, macarons, historic buildings, and fun dress shops. We stopped for coffee just a bit off the main areas in a place that felt like a Parisienne's Paris. I would recommend Emilie as a guide to anyone.

We did 2 tours on two different dates including the Le Marais district on Monday and the Latin Quarter on Tuesday. Lucien is a true walking encyclopedia of history, local landmarks and current events. We even asked him about several obscure historical events and he knew them all and was prepared to discuss them in detail. Full Marks. Refreshing.

We spent a truly wonderful time wandering around Le Marais with Emilie. She was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable, and we all loved meeting her and spending our time with her. Our multi-generational group needed a bit of flexibility to manage the 3-hour adventure, and she was more than willing to make everything work well for everyone, including finding a playground for my daughter to blow off steam, or prioritizing finding treats to sample. She showed us secret places, introduced us to wonderful new shops (we enjoyed the perfumerie and the marvelleux/incoryable treats! Emilie was simply parfait and we hope to meet her again!

Emilie was a delight. By the time we met up with her our nine year old traveler was just about done with traveling <grin>. Emilie altered the tour to include a playground, a look at an out of the way museum with an actual 'typewriter' and an extra sampling of macarons! In addition, Emilie was knowledgable about the Marais, its past and present and she was completely tuned to each of our questions and needs. Take any tour you can with her!

We took two tours with Lucien. Lucien's love of history and the ability to weave the points in history into a relatable story and tour was incredible. Lucien is an history fanatic, in the best sense of the word. If you let him, he’ll walk and talk you through the entire history of Paris and probably more:) But, besides the history, he knows himself too and sticks to the tour and the story, told from the ages gone till now, complemented with his own expert opinion. With the right amount of wit and knowledge he is the right person to shed light on forgotten artifacts.

I did a tour yesterday with Murielle in the Le Marais areas. She is a wealth of information and knowledge about everything on my tour. I was fortunate enough to have her point out wonderful things I would have just walked by. She is very friendly, and made my experience lots of fun. Also, she speaks English very well. Even though I wear hearing aids, I was able to hear and understand everything she said. At the end of our tour she gave me maps and wrote down other things I may want to see and do in Paris. I'm going to sign up for two more tours with her. I recommend her highly, I had such a good time! Linda
