Small-group Louvre Museum Masterpieces Tour With Access

Florence was a great guide. She took us to all of the louvre highlights and it was very informative! Great tour! She also provided information and direction for those who wanted to stay after the tour to continue the visit.

Our tour guide was Florence. Florence did a great job explaining what was going to happen. Remember ... this is a "greatest hits" tour of the Louvre. It would easily take a week to see everything. Florence hit all the must-see items and kept up a steady supply of information about the art we saw plus the history of the Louvre.

Florence provided us an amazing experience. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture. Worth the the price!

Florence was the best. There were only 6 of us and she guided us smoothly and efficiently through the crowded Louvre. Her explanations, descriptions, facts were detailed, relevant and interesting. She was not just spewing bland information. We got the how, why, where and when behind the pieces. She got us upfront and close to all pieces. She was not allowed to be with us at the Mona Lisa but she showed us how to maneuver ourselves in front of the piece. Wow. She also described and noted differences with same pieces found at Versailles. Wish we had taken her tour before Versailles. Best tour ever. Well worth the money.

Cannot recommend this tour highly enough, our guide Tinu was fantastic and without her we wouldn't have had a clue where to start. The tour was really informative and we leaned a lot about the main highlights of the Louvre. There were only 9 people on our tour so it was easy to stick together and we didn't have to wait for stragglers to catch up all the time. We had a fabulous time, thank you so much

Great overview of the louvre highlights and tips for further exploration. Right amount of time for a first visit to the louvre. Our guide was great - funny and very informative. Highly recommend. I don’t know what we would have done solo - the place is so massive and overwhelming.

Our visit to the Louvre was made so much better by having our guide as part of a small group. The heat can take a toll - so summer travelers during the heatwave should be forewarned. We saw the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo’s, and so much more. Our guide, Florence, was incredibly knowledgeable and answered our questions while maintaining order in a somewhat chaotic environment. It would have been so overwhelming without her!

The tour is highly recommended to get the most from your visit to the Louvre and enjoy the experience without getting overwhelmed.

We had a wonderful experience with our guide Florence. It was worth the price to have a professional guide us through and navigate crowds. She was fun and knowledgeable and gave us a great highlight tour. We stayed 3 hours and it flew by The most beautiful museum! Thanks Florence!!

It is difficult to hear the guide with the electronic aid. It cuts out often, and the noise level makes understanding the guide very difficult. Because of that, we nearly missed half the tour. I suggested to the guide to occasionally say where she was located, giving some sort of reference point. Her reply was that she told us three times where she would be after visiting a specific exhibit. Problem is we did not hear that due to the noise and device cutting out as described above. Recommendation would be to require the guides to occasionally say where they are located in case someone gets lost (which happened to at least one of our party).

Claudia Soto is an excellent guide. Her knowledge of the Louvre and its contents is impressive. She asked us at the beginning of the tour what we wanted to see and know about and took it from there.

Toma did a great job. She’s an art student and was extremely knowledgable about the exhibits we saw. She knew how to efficiently get to the exhibits we visited kept the pace moving despite the crowded conditions. Excellent tour of a few of the museum’s highlights.

Claire our tour guide was a true professional and extremely knowledgeable in her field. She expertly guided us through all of the highlights the Louvre has to offer. We learned so much history about the Louvre itself and the artwork we saw. She was also very helpful with suggestions of what to explore once the tour ended.

Tour guide (Addie) was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated her pace and ability to navigate large crowds to educate us and allow us to take pictures of masterpieces. Addie also provided great interaction to answer any questions the group had about any of the pieces.

We were greeted warmly by staff people from City Wonders, the company that created this amazing tour. The guide, Gregory Mavel, was fun and so knowledgeable. He kept the group moving through the very crowded museum at the perfect pace. You could see and appreciate the art and sculpture while listening to his expert commentary and never feel rushed.

Guide greatly helped us negotiate and appreciate a large busy museum. We hit the highlights but also got to learn the interesting stories behind several works.

The guide/host was Frédéric and he was excellent. The positives are that we got a view of all the highlights at the Louvre , ‘ the three ladies’ for me the low lights were the crowds especially at Mona Lisa , we would have like to have had time to admire and observe all the art but the crowds were too much.

My niece and I had a wonderful experience visiting the Louvre for our first time. Severine was a wonderful guide, so informative but also fun and entertaining. She guided us through the most famous works but also some lesser known works too. Highly recommend skipping all the lines and experiencing the Louvre on this tour.
