Itinerary
Your Champagne adventure begins with convenient pickup directly from your hotel or Airbnb in Paris. Once all guests are comfortably on board, we leave the city behind and begin our journey toward the world-famous Champagne region. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful French countryside as you travel toward the vineyards and charming villages of Champagne. Depending on the day's schedule, traffic conditions, and travel time, a short comfort stop may be offered along the way, allowing you to stretch your legs, use the restroom, or grab a coffee or snack. Relax and enjoy the ride as your Champagne experience begins, with visits to renowned Champagne houses, fascinating cellar tours, and unforgettable tastings awaiting you.
As part of your Champagne journey, you will visit the historic city of Reims, home to the magnificent Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral - one of France’s finest examples of Gothic architecture and a landmark deeply connected to the country’s royal history. Enjoy approximately 30 minutes of free time to explore this remarkable monument at your own pace, admire its impressive façade, capture memorable photos, and, if open and accessible, step inside to discover its beautiful architecture and famous stained-glass windows. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the cathedral’s history, its role in French heritage, and its importance as a symbol of Reims, adding a deeper cultural experience to your Champagne adventure.
After exploring Reims, continue your Champagne journey with a visit to a charming family-owned Champagne house. This intimate experience offers a unique opportunity to discover the passion, traditions, and craftsmanship behind small-scale Champagne production. During the guided visit, you will explore the estate and its historic cellars (caves), while learning about the traditional methods used to create Champagne and the story behind the family’s heritage. The visit concludes with a Champagne tasting, where you can appreciate the authentic character and distinctive style of a smaller producer. This personal experience provides a wonderful contrast to the larger, internationally recognized Champagne houses and gives you a deeper understanding of the diversity of the Champagne region.
Continue your Champagne experience with a visit to one of the region’s renowned Champagne houses, such as Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Taittinger, or Nicolas Feuillatte (subject to availability). Discover the fascinating world of Champagne production as you explore the cellars and learn about the expertise, traditions, and precision required to create some of the most celebrated Champagnes in the world. During the guided visit, you will gain insight into how these prestigious houses combine centuries-old traditions with modern techniques while maintaining the highest quality standards. This experience perfectly complements your visit to the family-owned producer earlier in the day, allowing you to appreciate the unique differences between artisanal craftsmanship and the heritage of internationally recognized Champagne houses.
You will also visit the world-famous Avenue de Champagne in Épernay — often called the “most prestigious street in Champagne,” home to some of the most iconic Champagne houses. Here, your guide will introduce you to the history and significance of the avenue, while you enjoy free time to walk along the street, take photos, and soak in the elegant atmosphere of this UNESCO-listed area. It is the perfect moment to experience the heritage and prestige of Champagne in a relaxed and memorable setting.
During your Champagne adventure, enjoy a unique and interactive tasting experience hosted by your guide in a beautiful setting surrounded by the landscapes of the Champagne region. Take part in a blind tasting where you will discover the subtle differences between various sparkling wines, including Champagne and Crémant. Your guide will introduce you to the aromas, flavors, and characteristics that make each wine unique, turning the tasting into a fun and educational experience suitable for both beginners and wine enthusiasts. As a memorable highlight of the day, your guide will also demonstrate the traditional art of sabrage — the elegant technique of opening a Champagne bottle with a sabre. This special moment offers a perfect photo opportunity and adds an unforgettable touch to your Champagne experience.
At the end of your Champagne experience, your driver/guide will return you to your original pickup location in Paris. If more convenient, you may request drop-off at another location within Paris, and your guide will do their best to accommodate your preference whenever possible, depending on traffic conditions and the day’s schedule. Enjoy a comfortable return journey after a memorable day discovering the Champagne region.

This experience was so amazing, Alex our tour guide was outstanding he was extremely knowledgeable, and flexible throughout the day. He added a surprise at the end of the trip which created additional memories for my family which was an extra nice touch. I highly recommend this tour and definitely request Alex!!!!!
Alex was a terrific driver and your guide. Great itinerary, we started with a small family winery and then moved to view a large operation. We enjoyed the tours, the champagne and personable Alex.
Alex our guide was great. After picking us up he gave us a bit of history of champagne region, gave us the plan for the day and gave us some words of advice regarding drinking all that champagne. The tastings and tours were educational and most importantly… delicious. Alex surprised us at the end with something that really made the whole trip memorable. My one wish was that we had been able to take a tour and tasting of the third champagne house instead of just seeing it … but timing clearly was an issue.
Great tasting experience. Alex our guide was very friendly and working hard. Good contrast between a large producer and small
Wonderful experience. It starts with a 1 hour tour through the best selling champagne factory in France. It was so interesting to see the process of how champagne is made. Next come the tastings at 2 places, lunch, champagne at a lovely view point and then onto the cathedral Notre Dame in the Champagne region. A full and wonderful day in the gorgeous Champane region.
Sebastian was absolutely amazing!!!! He made everything perfect for everyone. The music he played during the drive was very relaxing.
Small group of 8. Excellent guide Tomers drove us there, provided some commentary and some humour. What a lovely guy. The group was small enough for everyone to get to know each other. Well known champagne house am. For us it was Tattinger. Really impressive. A visit to the vines that had been harvested. Lunch which was nice but small portions. Then a smaller house where we could see the vats and processes. A long day with the travelling but so worth it with huge credit to Tomers who made it so memorable.
Max was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, very friendly and worked very hard to accommodate all our requests. It’s was evident he wanted us to have a great experience visiting the Champagne Region, and we certainly did. He was very relaxed, never rushed us, engaging and answered most all of our many questions. He made many pit stops for us along the way, and got us into a few additional very popular champagne houses, churches etc. He made the experience extra special for us! We highly recommend Max if you have an opportunity to get him 👍👍👍
Eric was fantastic great guide very knowledgeable

Max is an excellent guide and made sure we got the full experience. I highly recommend this tour especially if Max is your guide.
Great tour, Max was fantastic, knowledgeable and made a very fulfilled day for us! Would highly recommend!
We had a wonderful Champagne tour with Alex! He was attentive, punctual, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the entire day feel special. He even had a few thoughtful surprises for us along the way that made the experience even more memorable. The tour absolutely delivered an amazing experience. I initially expected we might visit one additional Champagne house for a glass or tasting, but our day was still full, thoughtfully planned, and filled with memorable experiences from start to finish. Alex’s knowledge, attention to detail, and hospitality made this such a special day in Champagne. I would highly recommend him—book your tour with Alex! 🥂🍾
Amazing experience with Alex. He went above and beyond to show us the champagne region. We would definitely recommend to our friends family!
Highly recommended!! We didn't book until after we arrived in Paris and were still lucky to get a trip on the date we wanted. We were also lucky to get Alex for our driver and tour guide. He was excellent!! We had such a fun day!
Solid time exploring the Champagne region. Got a good variety of exposure to different houses champagne from big to small. Our tour guide was Alex - I’d definitely recommend him.
So much fun! Alex was so fun and informative. Lots of delicious champagne + beautiful views- would recommend!
Overall, the tour was amazing. It was a once in a lifetime experience. The price was so worth your bang for your buck! Our tour guide, Alex, was so personable and amazing to be around. I couldn’t imagine doing this tour with anyone else, seriously! He really cared about making this an unforgettable and amazing experience!
It is a well organized, beautiful and unique way to experience the region of champagne and gain knowledge of history and the production process.
Such a wholesome experience. Honestly our tour guide Alex, arrived on time and had communicated a day before the time that he would be there to pick us up and he was. We visited a total of 3 champagne wineries Nicholas feuillatte, Collard Milesi and Moet et Chandon. Finally the little surprise at the end where I got to do the savor made the experience worth the money spent. Did I mention we had a lovely French based lunch too. A total 10/10 recommendation.
Sasha was a fantastic guide. He knew more than the guides from the champagne houses ! Very energetic and engaging - highly recommend the tour for both those that have little and vast knowledge of champagne and the region.
