Rodin Museum: Join our artist-guide at the entrance of the Hôtel Biron, the 18th century mansion that houses the Rodin museum. Together, we will explore the rococo architecture of the building, a work of art in itself. We will trace Rodin’s artistic evolution from his classical beginnings to his unfinished masterpieces. We will experience firsthand the feverish plaster sketches so central to his creative method and delve into his artistic alliances (to the literary genius, Balzac or former-collaborator, Camille Claudel).
Gardens of the Rodin Museum: Lastly, we will also stroll around the majestic French gardens and soak in the breathtaking perspectives. We will learn about the monumental and majestic bronze casts decorating the gardens.
Blerta was very congenial and informative. She shared many stories about the pieces of art and Rodin’s art and his life. We were able to fully explore the museum and the garden. To say Blerta was enthusiastic about her work as a guide would be an understatement. While my girlfriend was a follower of Rodin it wasnt till today that Blerta opened my eyes and mind to what a true master he was. Her tour made all the difference. One afternoon in March, i booked a ticket to visit the Rodin Museum, which l had already visited before. At first, I thought she would give me a classic tour, providing the most obvious information about Rodin. However, as the visit progressed, I realized that Blerta had a deep knowledge of the subject. I learned many things about Rodin's work process that l was not aware of. This surprised me because I thought l already knew his work well from my master in fine arts.
