Itinerary
The rooms are studded with sculptures and selections of more than 200 paintings that Rodin had accumulated over his life. You’ll explore his various studies of the human form, including numerous hands and the life-sized “The Walking Man.” Learn about his contemporaries, whom he depicted in clay, like the French writer Balzac. Discover the details of his masterpiece, “The Gates of Hell,” including the most recognizable of Rodin’s work, “The Thinker.” After exploring the inside of the museum, you can stroll the beautifully manicured gardens where more sculptures are on display. Through this epic collection of his works, you’ll learn all about this renowned artist who became, even if unwittingly, a father of modern sculpture.
You’ve seen it in the movies, but what do you really know about Paris? We’ll share its stories, secrets, and scandals with you while exploring all of the places you won’t find on your own. Wander the streets and museums of the world’s most popular city on a small group or private tour of Paris. Our English speaking guides at Babylon Tours get you priority entrance and help you skip the lines at the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay. Go beyond the Eiffel Tower and experience Paris with Babylon Tours.

Our guide, Sunday, was an absolute gem. Her extensive knowledge of Rodin, the history at the time, and the relevance of his work greatly enhanced our experience. On top of that, she patiently waited for us, as we use walkers. I would go anywhere with Sunday!
Ana was great. She was able to show us the highlights and was knowledgeable about his life story.
It’s very professional, not rushed, very informational, it’s great that you have the option to do a guided tour with six or less people.
Daniel did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining!
Hugo L. gave an outstanding tour of the Rodin Museum. He was enthusiastic, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about art history. His storytelling really brought the museum to life, with fascinating details and context that made the sculptures even more meaningful. What stood out most was how he connected everything with great stories and insights that kept us fully interested the entire time. I was there with my 15-year-old and a friend, and Hugo did a fantastic job making the tour accessible and engaging for all of us. We both learned a lot and genuinely enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend Hugo L. to anyone visiting the Rodin Museum!
From coordination, to friendliness, and to knowledge of the museum exhibits, our guide Anatole was top notch! His knowledge of the details around each piece was impressive and he answered all our questions.
After nearly 30 years using Viator this was our first unsatisfactory experience. The tour guide was not very friendly. And while there were only three of us on the visit she did not make any effort to keep us together and kept constantly repeating herself and telling us how many minutes we had left.
Sunday was amazing! She had an excellent understanding of the history of Rodin and his works. I would book another tour with her! I highly recommend.
Semi private tour became private due to our lucky timing of our trip. Bel was amazing. Easy going and pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. By the end of the tour we thought we’d earned diplomas from the vast art history education she shared with us. She was very flexible and really clued us into the truly valuable sculptures, their background, their meaning. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Incredible experience. Julian was very knowledgeable about Rodin's life and he himself was very charming and humorous. Great job Julian.
This was an excellent in depth tour. Our guide Dunya was extremely knowledgeable and therefore added such dimension to the artist and the man that was Rodin. Without her expertise, the tour would not have been nearly as multidimensional or insightful as it was.
Malaika was an excellent guide. She provided interesting anecdotes & answered all of our questions. It’s clear that she enjoys serving as a guide.
Amazing tour guide getting her phd in art history, loved the Rodin museum. Our tour guide had an amazing knowledge of Rodin and was very personable.
Hugo is the best guide! Funny, knowledgeable and flexible - what more could you want? My wish is to go to every Parisian museum with Hugo as a guide
What a terrific tour. We expected the Rodin Museum to be special, and it was. But what kicked it up to an even a level higher was our guide, Anatole. Knowledgeable, bright, funny is the best way to describe him. We've had many tour guides. but none have been better. Highly recommend Anatole to get an inside picture of Rodin and what made him tick.
Anatole was an excellent tour guide. He shared interesting and informative facts. We saw the way Rodin could have been thinking as he created his masterpieces.
What a great experience! Anatole was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and engaging! His passion for his work was evident throughout the tour. 10/10 would highly recommend! Thank you Anatole!
A great informative professional tour where we learnt from a passionate Rodin, art historian devotee. Thank you Anatole from a fabulous afternoon.
Anatole great guide space great the presentation. Having to write more here is very annoying blah blah blah!
Anatole was incredible! Very informative and this was my third time to the museum! I would highly recommend this tour.
Florent was great clearly gave interesting facts about the artist and his inspiration Took his time to answer all our questions, and even served as our group photographer
We had a fabulous private tour and Malaika kept all of us, including my two 12 year olds engaged throughout the educational tour.
Our tour was great, mostly because our guide, Taylor, was wonderful. She was deeply knowledgeable about Rodin, his technique and impact, and his story. She provided context of the time and of Rodin's peers to make the tour fascinating. We had a great, informative, and fun tour!
We went on a tour of the Rodin Museum with Lucien and we were very impressed with the depth of his knowledge. He was very engaging and not only shared facts about Rodin as a sculptor, but also included interesting anecdotes about him as a person and those that he influenced. Lucien answered all of our questions in detail and provided an excellent tour experience. 5/5 I would go on another tour with him!
Very good tourist guide Sunday and with a very good explanation in everything we saw we were very grateful to her Thank you very much.
