We were unable to access the tickets to get on the boat. There was someone to assist us and they were also unable to get to our tickets through the Viator app. Now we will need to request a refund through our credit card. It would have been easier by far to purchase the tickets at the boat. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

Cruise was very good but unfortunately the monologue that when with it wasn’t. The crepes after were lovely. Would recommend.
The whole experience was fine, however the boat ride was good and informative, but the crepe experience was bogus. It was like 2 miles , and up a lot of staires , kind of a run around . Not clear where that was so never got our crepes
The ticket agents are not helpful. We arrived over an hour early to get a spot in front, upon opening the booking in the Viator app the ticket agent reported it wasn’t a “ticket”. She made us get out of line to “find” the ticket, while 100s of people went by. I asked her to help me and she told me I had to call Viator. I tried calling with no avail. I finally opened another section of the app and she accepted it. It didn’t matter, my evening was ruined. The experience was not what it should have been.
Cruise was amazing. Beautiful city and sites! We were only there for a short time so getting to see so many sites from the boat was perfect! The walk to find the crepes was a bit far but otherwise, we had a fabulous time!
Had trouble finding area to get our tickets. Also, had to walk quite a distance to find the crepe place. I would not have purchased the crepe had I known that it wasn’t convenient to where we disembarked.
We were supposedly to redeem our tickets on the pier, there was no place to do so and the staff would not help us in anyway. They were rude and corrosive and we were unable to go on the cruise we paid for. Very frustrated with this experience.
Our guide Sara was AMAZING! Very knowledgeable and engaging. Highly enjoyable experience.
Great experience. Good way to begin our Paris visit. Everyone was friendly and the crepes were delicious.
Well worth the crowds, seeing the night life along the Seine was great and seeing the landmarks was an excellent introduction to our first day in Paris. Merci
The cruise on the Siene was wonderful, perfect break from all the walking you do in Paris. Communication with the provider was not consistent, they did not send the tickets in time and we had to come back twice to enjoy the tour.
We experienced the river cruise during the heatwave in Paris, the river cruise provided some welcome light breeze! Overall we had a wonderful time, being able to view Paris from the river was beautiful and we took full advantage of the French crepes afterwards. Great value for money and would definitely recommend to others.
The coat ride brought you to a lot of sites but the on ship audio guide was not working. They had a decent downloadable version but I don’t have a headset with me so listening was difficult. Crepes were good but they were a bit p minute walk to the food stand to get them.
Extreme heat lingered into the evening and a mass of people had gathered at the quay. I missed getting a crepe as the tour participants and general public had access to the one food cart. The tour boat overfilled on the upper deck due to heat; very crowded. Great way to see Paris floating the river.
The cruise itself was nice, although the audio was hard to use. The crepe tasting was NOT at the foot of the Eiffel Tower as described. It was a 15-20 min walk away and very hard to find as no clear directions were provided. Once we found the place, the views were awesome and the crepes were very tasty.
I booked our River cruise several weeks in advance, so I was very surprised when we arrived at the port that we were forced to stand in line with thousands of other people, many of whom were purchasing their tickets on the spot. We stood in line for at least an hour before we were able to board the boat. I think priority boarding for those who purchase tickets in advance would be helpful. Maybe I expected too much for an experience that was low cost, but I was stunned at the number of people who were in line. The cruise itself was great! Plenty of seating and great views all around- even from the bottom deck. I would totally do this cruise again, but it would’ve been helpful to know what the situation would be beforehand.
The boat ride was an hour long, they were flexible with the time so I was able to do the ride when it was convenient to me. The crepe tasting experience was uncomfoftable and not very welcoming but overall it was a good experience.
The cruise itself was fine, but there was no crepe tasting as advertised
Pack comfortable shoes and an open mind. Be prepared to learn the unpublicized truths surrounding Black people in Paris. Antonia was a delight, well informed, and kind enough to allow a woman of a certain age to take a few breaks between steps!
The tour was great. We received an email with two PDF documents, one that was a voucher and the other one was the tickets with the barcode. This email had all the instructions and link to find the cruise and the crapes. 5 stars!
It’s difficult to give this trip a single star rating. The boat trip and views of the tower were amazing. I went with my two teenage daughters at sunset, got some amazing pics/vids of the ET at night and we will have life long memories. However, despite purchasing a ticket beforehand we still had to queue for about two hours during the May heatwave with little information about what was happening, there was nothing to eat or drink on the boat as the vending machines were out of order and there were no crepes in site. So I would give the Experience 5 Stars and the Service 1 Star
My daughter is sixteen and I had so much trouble getting the QR code we got stuff at the reader it was awful so many text and information but not the QR code easily found
River cruise was great. Saw a lot of famous sites and got some wonderful pictures. got the royal run around to find the crepe place. Never did find it. Just went to a place right across the way and bought our own 5 euro each. Should have listened to the other people reviews. Would be a 5 star review if not for that wasted walking.
BUY THE TICKETS THERE DAY-OF FOR THIS. If you buy through Viator, you have to walk far away for the crepe and away from the Seine instead of the cafe literally right in front of the boats. It’s ridiculous. Otherwise? The boat is fine. The photos of this event in Viator are misleading.
Great views. Paris is beautiful. See many sites. Would recommend to others for a wonderful time day or night
We got to the Tours area very early and we’re waiting and the tour guide never showed up. We proceeded over to where the boats launch and did not see any tours. I ended up booking another tour. Beware about some of the Tours guides who are not where they’re supposed to be and you will miss your tour.
We did this as a first experience of Paris when we landed with our family, and it was worth it. Yes, the crêpes were at the Place du Trocadéro, which is a bit of a walk from the pier, however, that is the best view of the Eiffel Tower and it was a good place to both begin and end our first evening in the City of Lights. The crêpes were okay (we had much better ones later) but, you do have the option of getting waffles instead. The lines for the boat can be long, but, they are longest if you want to see Paris at night, or just at sunset, so plan accordingly! We waited maybe 1/2 an hour, and this was around 17:00, and the views were great. The cruise was good, however, the live explanations on the boat were lacking and, if one does not have data, it's difficult to know what you're seeing as they do not always give the explanation. However, if you download the guide to your phone, you can listen along as you go through the different landmarks. Sit on the starboard side (right side) of the boat and you will see everything in the order that the guide puts them. Even if it's chilly, sit up top and you will get a grand experience. It's a nice taste of the city before you begin to see it in detail.
As my friend was disabled we were immediately taken to the front of the queue and allowed to board quickly - excellent service I had difficulty with the headphones but no one was around to help. The info given on speaker wasn’t clear so I feel didn’t get a clear idea of what we were passing
While it was nice to have the app so it was tailored to your language, no one on the boat spoke to you. Also, we never received our crepes. They never told us where to go and by the time we found someone to ask, they didn’t know what we were talking about. Being on the Seine is a lovely experience though and I would suggest experiencing that.
Wonderful experience. Me and my wife had fun. Highly recommended and very easy to book and navigate too.
The river cruise was fun and informative. There was so much to see and the audio version of the tour helped describe the history of the location and/or building. The weather was unpredictable that day, but the cruise kept the cabin cozy and warm.
Awful experience. They oversold the boat we bought because it was Valentine’s Day. Told us we likely wouldn’t get on even the last one that night despite showing up an hour early for our ticket time. Someone came around and gave us a slip of paper saying we could get a full credit. When I emailed for my full credit, via said no you cannot have a full credit. Horrible service. Will NEVER USE AGAIN.
Boat was fun, but our 6 pm boat reservation didn’t leave until 7:30 pm… and no crepes. Overall, my kids and I had fun- just think it could have been organized a bit better!
Wonderful cruise along the Siene River. Christmas in Oaris is already magical. We had a great time seeing the city from the river
I have been on this tour 4 times!! I love it so much, this time it was TERRIBLE!!!! Everyone was moving around the boat, no one would stay in their seats. Children were unattended, running up and down the stairs, screaming, and yelling at. The guest on the boat were absolutely obnoxious, rude and unruly. The boat staff completely ignored our request to ask the people to stay in their seats. It was absolutely so disruptive and very distracting. Not to mention that the.Crepe place wasn’t even there!! there were no crêpes on the tour although they advertised it! This is the first time this is ever happened. I will be requesting a full refund.!!
Great time on the river cruise but in order to get the free crêpes, you had to walk a little bit of a distance. It was freezing and rainy and it wasn’t worth walking that distance to get the free crêpes. But it was really nice seeing the Eiffel Tower and the different areas on the river. Did have a difficult time understanding whoever was speaking on the loudspeaker telling us what we were seeing when we were on the river.
Viator did not release paid tickets so it took us over an hour if denial in lines to finally receive our tickets that were paid for two weeks ago. The local worker at boat gate who was trying to assist us advised us that Viator sometimes has scammers involved. Boat ride was very nice. Had to walk over a mile for the crepe which the vendor who made the crepe actually had already made crepes that looked more like a thick burrito that he warmed up. We did mor have the chocolate or cinnamon and sugar option as noted on the tour information, we had lemon juice from a bottle and sugar. We took one bite and threw them away. Horrible! Would not recommend this tour.
Wasn't a bad cruise chilly, a lot of people, someone giving some data and history, packed but not stuffy safe, nest clean s solid 4 try it once
We wasted a lot of time looking for the kiosk for the crepe tasting. Would have been helpful to have the name of the kiosk. Even then the staff at the kiosk were not familiar with the voucher. The boat cruise was enjoyable. Washrooms on board could have been cleaner.
Enjoyed the cruise but the crepe shop was closed so we didn’t get to enjoy a crepe although the details stated it opened until 10pm and we were there at 8:30.
Great cruise but had to fish for our crepes. The walking was too far for a two euro crepe. The gentleman pointed across the street and up the stairs.
It was difficult to locate my actual tickets for the cruise and crepe tasting using your app. Luckily the people at tha bateau Parisienne were helpful. Directions to crepe tasting were not specific.
Fantastic experience. Followed directions on the website and everything was perfect. So easy to get around. Great tour.
Cruise was excellent - be aware that the 'French Crepe Tasting by the Eiffel Tower' is misleading. The crepes are actually across the river about a 1/2 mile away. Ironically, there are crepes available at the dock (by a non-participating vendor). We opted not to walk the distance and felt the 'tasting' upsell was not convenient and somewhat misleading.
Awesome experience! It was a little unclear how the tickets were supposed to be downloaded from a different site beforehand. That needs to be made more clear and detailed. Otherwise, we had a lovely time seeing the eiffel tower. The walk to the crepes was not at the base of the tower. It was across the river and quite a distance away. That was a little deceiving.
The boat fills up quickly and the prime seats are up on top. We weren’t fortunate enough to sit up top but were able to find seats below beside an open window-which is what we wanted for picture taking. The have a QR code you can scan for audio commentary but were never able to get it to work. Someone did do commentary in several languages but by the time they got to English we were past whatever they were pointing out. The lights weren’t working in any of the restrooms and that was a nightmare. Thank goodness for cell phone flashlights. The crepes were quite a distance from the boat. Once we got there I was surprised that it was just a food truck. The crepes were pre-made and they just put filling on them and heated them up.
Great quick overview of Paris from the water. Hits a lot of key architecture. Helpful to orient you to the city and see some of the big landmarks.
This was a great experience! We had time to take great pictures around Paris, France. We also didn’t wait too long in line either.
I did not get a QR code sent to me and when I contacted them they said they sent it with no other help for us. No refund either. We wanted to do the cruise, so we paid for it on our own.
Bought my ticket the morning of the river cruise - battled to redeem the ticket via the app - most frustating 😠
