Diego, our guide, was awesome. He picked us up on time at the airport, and had a 5 hour tour planned. When he found out our son was a huge Paris Saint-Germaine soccer fan, he took us by their stadium. Diego saw some local kids wearing a team scarf, so he asked them about it. It happened to be the day that supporters could sign up for the fan club emails, look inside the stadium, get a free scarf and buy t-shirts. This thrilled our son, and the fan club organizers were excited to have a new member in the US. He also adjusted our tour so we could have an early supper at an outdoor cafe. Diego spoke English very well and definitely customized our tour to show us the highlights we wanted to see. Great way to spend some time during a long layover!

We disembarked our cruise ship in LeHarve and needed a transfer to Paris. I contacted Rachel at Paris Connections and asked if it would be possible to do a Versailles tour the same day. Rachel did an amazing job. Our driver Fabien was waiting for us at the port when we got off the ship and drove us straight to Versailles where we were introduced to our guide Martine. She expertly led us past the lines and through the crowds and her knowledge was invaluable. Rachel had arranged priority access to the chateau and we had plenty of time to tour the gardens first. When we were finished in the chateau, Fabien was waiting to take us to our Paris hotel. It was a perfect day!
We used Paris Connection for two jam-packed days of touring. Our driver/guide, Valeria, was very knowledgeable about every site we visited and we had a great time discussing history and culture. The trip to Versailles was a highlight; Valeria pointed out some interesting features we may have otherwise missed and had some interesting anecdotes about Louis XIV and Louis XVI. The owner, Rachel, was very helpful and her restaurant recommendations were excellent. Would use again.
Having been impressed when we used this service a couple of years ago we were equally so on this occasion. John, the bilingual driver, was well presented, friendly and gave a knowledgable, humorous commentary on our Paris tour. Rachel, the proprietorix could not have been more helpful, particularly when our flight was delayed. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
As we realized we would not make our connection to Athens due to the weather, we learned our new itinerary had a nine hour layover in Paris. Before we took off, I quickly sent an email to Rachel at Paris Connections requesting a driver guide for five hours touring our group of five in Paris the next day. When we arrived I called Rachel and to my delight she had a driver on the way to meet us at CDG. Arthur was wonderful. He was very accommodating and friendly. We drove to the city with our hand luggage in tow. He took us on a grand tour of all the major sites with stops at the Eiffel Tower and lunch at Notre Dame. We saw the Opera, Madelyn, Louvre, Invalids, Left Bank, and many other sites. It was a wonderful surprise. My daughter said I made lemonade from the lemons. I say Rachel worked a miracle over night. As a matter of fact, I'm booking with them again in August when we have a 23 hour Paris layover. Thank you Paris Connection.
We booked a tour with Paris Connection to Monet's home, Giverny. We had not booked a private tour but we were the only ones who had booked that day so it was nice that we had the van to ourselves. The driver picked us up at our hotel very promptly. However, that was the issue--our driver/guide was pretty much just a driver. He offered very little information or commentary on our way to Giverny and not much at the property either about Monet, his life and career. In addition, the driver was extremely soft spoken which made it difficult to hear him when he did speak. Overall, we were glad we decided to make the trip from Paris but felt that, for the high fee charged, we should have had a true guide rather than just transportation. I would not recommend this tour company for Giverny.
We chose Paris Cnnection for a private all day tour to see two castles outside of Paris and a small art village. The booking was very easy and they were very responsive in customizing a tour to Foundtainbleu and Vaux le Vicomte and the town of Barbizon. The driver picked us up on time from our hotel and answered a lot of questions during the ride out of town. He took us first to Barbizon a wonderful village with art galleries and little cafes. We walked around and from there went to Fountainblue which is very I,preserve and no crowds like Versaille. He took us in and got us settled and then we took the tour and he picked us up afterwards and we enjoyed lunch in town. We then went to the second castle which was wonderful as were e gardens. We then drove back to Paris and were dropped at the hotel. Very professional and interesting tour which we thoroughly enjoys.
We had our best vacation ever with the excellent tours we incorporated on our trip with "Paris Connection". We have traveled many times to Europe and in the beginning we went on tour buses. The last few years we have taken private tours which makes for an extremely private and catered experience, and surprisingly the price is not much more. "Paris Connection Day Tours" were so great to deal with. We started by contacting Rachel by email and she let us pick multiple tours and arrange them in the order and days we wanted. Everyone was extremely pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable and on time. We were picked up at our hotel for each tour or excursion and were treated like a King and Queen. We chose to start with "PARIS CITY TOUR & EIFFEL TOWER LUNCH" because it was our first time visiting Paris. Our tour guide, Arthur, was so nice and knowledgeable. He gave us a city tour that was great and lunch at 58 Eiffel was fun and of course had spectacular views. We also chose "GUIDED LOUVE MUSEUM TOUR" with tour guide, Agnes, who was again, so nice and knowledgeable and really helped us to understand so much about the beautiful and breathtaking art work we were seeing. We chose "GUIDED VERSAILLES TOUR" with Arthur and again, Wow, excellent....you can't miss this. The last tour we picked being it was our 20th Anniversary was "SEINE DINNER CRUISE". Our driver picked us up and dropped us to the river boat, which was very elegant and the views and food were great. We just went in October 2014 therefore upon returning to dock, it became dark and the Paris lights and Eiffel towers at night was a sight we will never forget. Very romantic. After, our driver was waiting for us and returned us to our hotel. We spent the next few days on our own. Our last day, our driver picked us up and brought us to the airport. They didn't miss a beat. We so enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend "Paris Connection". It was the best vacation ever!! (and we are very picky)
I booked a 4 hour tour with Paris connection This was a hotel pick/ drop off. It was excellent! Our tour guide was informative , pleasant and made sure we were on our next destination by taking time to she each of us on a map how to get there I can't say enough . This was superb!
We were traveling as a family of five, one of us with mobility issues. Paris Connections made our trip possible by helping with our advanced planning and by executing on all their deadlines with amazing promptness. Rachel and Feriel were wonderful via email for months in advance, and this warmth translated to the various connections we took during our visit. Both airport transfers were flawless, even with our pickup location in a hard to find neighborhood location. We took a City Tour, which was a great way to jump out and take a few pictures while getting oriented. We took a Day Trip to Versailles and Chartres, and another to Vaux le Vicompte, Fontainebleau and the village of Barbizan. Both were highlights of our week. Highly recommend Chartres for a breath of uncrowded air and a break from Paris (it's amazing!), and we were delighted with Vaux le Vicompte/Fontainbleau as both were great to visit and a wonderful way to see a little of the countryside as part of our trip. Our guide to the two chateaux was in addition to the driver, and was a stand-out addition to the experience. Paris Connections was just what we needed!
We had book with Paris Connection from their Website from home prior to our trip to Paris. We took the Saturday morning visit to Versailles which included the fountains. It was excellent service, punctual and we were a group of 3 couples. It is mayhem at the main entrance of Versailles as tour buses pour their load of tourists out to the chateau but our licensed tour guide being recognized by the front entrance staff let us in first so the wait to enter was minimal. This company and the guide have a very good reputation. On a different day, we took the Vaux le Vicomte, Fontainebleau & Barbizon Tour with lunch at Vaux le Vicomte or Fontainebleau. Again, we were 3 couples and the young lady who is a licensed tour guide and full of knowledge and anecdotes made this tour truly enjoyable. She took us not only to the chateaux, but to the village of Barbizon, gave us quite the history and tour of the village, took us to the woods of Fontainebleau and pointed up many details and stories, we got to see the "sleeping elephants", drove through the town of Melun. She did not lack information and knowledge, she was very eager to answer any questions and stop along the way for pictures opportunities. The lunch at the chateau was fabulous and included wine. It was a time to share with our travelling guests. We recommend this company and will book with them again. I find that visits to less visited sites is great with Paris Connection as this become more personal thus memorable.
We booked the City Paris Tour with Lunch at the Eiffel Tower. Our tour guide picked us up at our hotel. He did not introduce himself or exchange any introductory pleasantries which we are used to in the U.S. Instead, we followed him out and got into the vehicle. He proceeded to drive around Paris telling us very little about the City. We had to encourage him to tell us more and that we wanted to hear everything he knew about the history, etc. We also had to strain ourselves to hear him speak. He was not animated or enthusiastic at all. When we arrived at the Eiffel Tower, I will say that this part of the tour was the best. Because we had pre-booked lunch, we were able to get to the front of the line to take the elevator where we did enjoy a nice lunch. So, for the money, the second half of the trip at the Eiffel Tower was worth it...but...as for a "City Tour", we could have done something else with our time and probably learned more.
We used Paris Connection for a last minute trip to Giverny from Paris. In all fairness, we booked only one day in advance, so perhaps the company did not have a lot of choice for tour guides. The van was lovely and clean and the tour guide was a good driver, but he was not a great tour guide. He was more like a quiet uncle who accompanied us on our trip(nice guy though). We paid 500+ EU for this trip it was not worth it. I emailed the company before typing this review as a courtesy, but they did not write back---
We took the Versailles and Giverney tour after doing some research on Trip Advisor. We only had a short time in Paris so needed an efficient and reliable tour operator. We found this in Paris Connection. Our driver, Rudolpho, picked us up on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. He spoke English fluently and answered all our questions We had a fabulous lunch and had plenty of time to wander around. we would not hesitate to recommend this company and this driver.
Our "kids" gave us this "private" trip, after hearing that we [both 61 years] plan to take the metro, then the train from St. Lazare, then the bus to Giverny and vice-versa. They decided that at our age, we should pamper ourselves and paid for this. Our communications with Rachel were very promptly replied and she patiently answered all our questions. The driver/guide [sorry, didn't catch his name] arrived at exactly 08.15, as promised. We were alone in this trip, he explained everything, waited for us to tour the house and the gardens, and when back in Paris, he graciously offered to drop us at our "next" destination - Musee d'Arts Decoratifs... Very recommended, merci Rachel & co. for a memorable journey to Giverny.
We booked Paris Connection for a Transfer from Le Havre where our ship docked to our hotel in Paris. On the way we stopped at Giverny and took a tour of Paris. We were 6 people With a lot of luggage.the vehicle that we had was large enough to accommodate us and all our luggage comfortably.our driver guide Rodolphe was polite and helpful, he made our day very enjoyable. I would highly recommend Paris connection and Rodolphe. Arlene S
In April our family of 6 arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport early on a Wednesday morning. We couldn't get into our apartment until mid afternoon. Paris Connection picked us up promptly and did a city tour in combination with the pickup. It was perfect. Our Guide arrived promptly and did an excellent job in our morning tour. His english was exceptional. He made an attempt to answer every request. Paris Connection was the perfect choice for our family and it probabky would be a good choice for you.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our city tour of Paris with Rodolphe with Paris Connection. After picking us up from the airport, he took us on a 3-hour long city tour of Paris including stops near Notre Dame for breakfast and a trip to Montmatre. Our guide provided us with a host of tips for our trip to Paris and helped us get our bearings in the city.
We were thrilled with Paris Connection's personalized service. We booked two excursions with them, both were real highlights of our stay in Paris. The Paris tour gave us a true sense of Paris lifestyle, our English speaking Driver Guide was absoultely delightful & we certainly saw the greatest parts of Paris. We had the Eiffel Tower dinner & Seine cruise excursion on our last evening, everything ran superbly - from the fast access to the restaurant, splendid dinner, friendly service, great veiws, fantastic Chauffeur - it was a truly memorable evening.. We highly recommend the Paris Connection experience!
We bought these tickets online from home before we left for France. The trip included being picked up at our hotel in Paris, driven to the Seine tour boat where the driver arranged for tickets (late- which meant we had to wait another hour). He then ran to the Eiffel tower and got us lift tickets. The tickets allowed to bypass the much longer line because we were also having dinner on the second floor (included in ticket price). Side note* The food was "okay" not the best we had in France by far. The Eiffel tour restaurant was very "touristy". After dinner we purchased tickets so we could access the top floor of the Eiffel tower. We had to meet our driver at 11pm. We ended up being about 15min late because the trip down the elevators in the Eiffel tower took much longer than expected. We ran to the car and apologized profusely and explained the delay to our driver. To which he proceeded to shout and lecture us. The comments were "In Paris, time is money" "I was just about to leave you here" "We should charge you extra money" and so on......Needless to say this ended our enjoyable tour on a very poor note.
impeccable service, worthy of a 10 out of 10, from which we benefited from you. Everything went smoothly, you did a great job and we are grateful.
