About Activity
We offer you high-end, private and exclusive tour in English with a certified WSET level 3 wine expert (on the way to level 4) . He will travel and stay with you all day long for giving you any explanation on Champagne wine and region (wine making process, history, economy and private funny stories about Champagne).
We pick you up at your accommodation in Paris, travel to Champagne region in a luxury Mercedes van, then enjoy a worry-free relaxing experience, your guide will take care of all logistical details for you. You will see both sides of Champagne: a well known famous Champagne house, and an independent family owned winemaker. Both are high-end quality classified as "Grand Cru" or "Premier Cru" or "Cru".

Stop At: Paris Duration:
1 hour 30 minutes We'll pick you up at 8.00am at your accommodation and head to Champagne region in a luxury Mercedes van with your wine certified guide; he will stay with you all day long.
While driving, your guide introduces the agenda and gets some information from you to make sure your day will be tuned according to your expectations.
Stop At: Chatillon-sur-marne Duration:
1 hour 30 minutes First visit will be at a family owned independant winemaker:
You will have a chance to discover the work and spirit of an independent winemaker, winemaker for the sixth generation. They have a unique story to tell, a terroir to share, and the fine bubbles of their labor to make you taste.
You will discover a real french winemaker, the vineyards that are closed to their estate, the process to produce Champagne, the production site and the cellar. You will taste three cuvées (different Champagnes) with explanation on what makes the difference between the three.
Stop At: Chatillon-sur-marne We will have a promenade in the vineyard and discover the most beautiful panoramas of Champagne.
Your wine certified guide will give a presentation of the terroir and the vegetative cycle of the vine and will answer your questions.
Stop At: Epernay We will head to epernay, twenty minutes driving accross typical Champagne landscapes, stil with your wine certified guide.

1 hour 45 minutes You will have lunch in a bistronomic restaurant. You will enjoy a fine french cuisine. Table will be booked for lunch which is not included in the price.
Stop At: Avenue De Champagne We will walk through Avenue de Champagne where some of the most prestigious Champagne houses are located.
Your wine certified guide will share history and stories about this avenue and all these famous Champagne houses.

1 hour 30 minutes Visit Moët & Chandon:
Dive into the Gallo-Roman cellars of one of the most prestigious Champagne house, dug between the 4th and 15th centuries where vintages are refined, sometimes centuries old. You will be guided by Moet & Chandon guide.
You will taste two cuvées (different Champagnes).
Stop At: Hautvillers We will head to Hautvillers, still guided by your wine certified guide.
If there is one place where Champagne really has a meaning, it is Hautvillers. The village, typical of the Champagne vineyards, is the cradle of Champagne. It was here that a certain Dom Pérignon perfected the champagne method, which transformed the wine of Champagne into the king of wines.
Stop At: Abbaye Saint-pierre D'hautvillers Hautvillers, Cradle of Champagne:
- As you follow the winding lanes, look up at the original panels created by wine producers on the facades of their houses
- Part of a former Benedictine abbey, the Abbaye St-Pierre d'Hautvillers, founded in AD 650 by St Nivard, bishop of Reims, this church is liberally decorated with 17th-century woodwork. This is where the good monk Dom Pérignon is buried.
Stop At: Paris We will get back to your hotel in Paris.

The tour exceeded our expectations in every way and was both delicious and educational (in the most fun possible way)! We can’t want to put our newfound knowledge and appreciation for champagne to use by drinking plenty more champagne while thinking about the history and hard work that goes into this wonderful beverage.
Our tour guide Jean-Philippe was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed our time with him as much as we did our time in the region.
We highly recommend this experience - must do if visiting France!

From start to finish this tour was exceptional!
Jean-Phillipe was very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. We toured both a smaller and larger champagne house and had a lovely lunch. The knowledge we gained about the champagne production process was amazing and eye opening! If you’re looking for a special day outside of Paris where everything is taken care of and arranged for you, this is the tour for you!

Jean-Phillipe was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive to our needs and an outstanding wine educator. His knowledge of wines and the Champagne region made the day totally worthwhile. He explained the region and the various requirements for each plot within. We even got to visit and pay homage to Don Perignon, the father of all champagne.

Jean Phillipe was an amazing host, driver, and champagne host. His driving was safe. His knowledge of champagne was incredible. Fun, nice, flexible. I highly recommend it.
I would advise you to book in advance to get the champagne houses you most want to book. Ruinart and Laurent Perrier closed for example on the day we booked. But he arranged interesting stops. He booked everything and had a perfectly planned agenda. We did Moet, Lamiable, and Mercier. All were lovely. We paid separately to do Dom Perignon and Caviar. Delicious.
Highly recommend this tour and I have traveled the world and used Viator.
Champagne Region tour with Le Tour de Vigneaneeshagovind
We did a tour from Paris to the Champagne Region with Le Tour de Vigne in mid July 2024 and it was AMAZING!!! Jean-Philippe was extremely helpful and knowledgeable... he picked us up from our hotel and drove us in a comfortable car and told us all about the champagne making process and the region as we drove there. We did a tour of the Veuve Clicquot champagne house which was amazing, and a small producer tour which was equally amazing. We also had lunch in between and did a tour of the Cathedral too. What an amazing day! Worth every penny :)

Jean-Phillipe took our family of five on the tour of a lifetime in Champagne. We saw the important parts of the region, toured and tasted at Henri Giraud and Moet & Chandon, and dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant with an amazing view. Jean-Phillipe was personable, knowledgeable, and great to be around. It was the highlight of our trip!

We did this private tour with Jean-Philippe who picked us up at our hotel in Reims in the morning. We were 4 cousins sharing this.
He took us to visit a small champagne house which was really interesting and intimate so really got a great idea of how it all works . There was some tasting
We were then taken to Haut Villiers home to Dom Pérignon where we had a nice lunch in a restaurant serving traditional food .
He stopped us in the middle of the vines for a session of “sabrage » of the bottle and another dégustation .
We then went to Épernay and visited the Moet et Chandon house .
He then drove us back to our hotel in Paris.
Jean-Philippe was very friendly,courteous and professional and a very good driver .Was very knowledgeable about the champagne industry and the region

"The current generation winemaker and owner was a prima ballerina before taking over winemaking on their family's land. Once in a lifetime experience!

He explained us a detailed description of champagne while he was driving from downtown of Paris to Moët Chandon So the tour was more meaningful.

We are a family of 5 with older college age children. We're picked up at our hotel in Paris. Jean-Philippe was on time with a pleasant greeting. The mercedes van was very clean and in great condition. Went to a very small winery 1st. The host was just wonderful. Wasn't sure how I felt about going to one that small but we as a family enjoyed it so much, we wouldn't wanted have missed that experience. Had lunch, stop by the town where Dom Perignon is buried and then off to Moet Chandon. That was also worth seeing the extreme difference of the giant in the industry. The education was ok given we already learned everything from the first smaller winery.
Overall we really couldn't be happier with the trip and Jean-Philippe. He isn't just a driver....he really knows the industry and provides great insight. I would highly recommend him.
