The wine was good and Sasha, our substitute host (normal host was on vacation), was wonderful. However, there were 3 of us and we received a total of 2 individual slices of cheese and 3 pieces of meat for the entire tasting. Insufficient/skimpy for 1 person and definitely not at all appropriate for 3 people and the price we paid. In comparison, we did a tour, wine tasting and tapas event in Old Town Valencia for $85 a person -and had 10 courses of tapas, including paella and dessert - with 5 wines and a dessert wine. Here we paid $90 to taste four wines and essentially got no food. If we had paid $40 - $50, I would say it was worth it but, at $90 a head, we were taken advantage of - and I therefore can not recommend. We were disappointed by the event even though Sasha and the wine were very good.

I used to work with wine before, so I know a bit about it. Sylvia surprised me - she really knows her stuff! Not just French wines, but international ones too. It was nice to remember things I’d forgotten. We tried 4 wines - all very good: one sparkling, one white and two reds. The food pairing (cheese, bread, butter, charcuterie) was fresh and delicious too. The restaurant is perfect for hot days: shady, with some trees outside, and air conditioning. Location is ideal - right on the Place du Tertre, in the heart of Montmartre. If you want a relaxed wine tasting with a true expert, go to Sylvia. Just good wine and a friendly atmosphere.

We truly enjoyed this experience. Sylvia was extremely knowledgeable and sweet and taught us a lot without it being at all overwhelming. The wines were all delicious as were the accompanying local meats and cheeses. Such a lovely way to get off our feet and recharge! Highly recommend.

Montramarte is such an amazing place and a wonderful place to explore! Sylvia was knowledgeable and answered all our questions! We even tried an “orange wine” the following day thanks to her advice and thoroughly enjoyed it. If we are ever back in Paris we would do this again!!!

We’ve been to many wine tastings in Europe, and this one is absolutely our favorite! Cozy place with beautiful decor on the second floor in a typical cafe/restaurant in Paris. We tasted 4 wines (1 bubble, a white, 2 reds) and had a cold cut board, which was delicious. Our sommelier, Sylvia, guided the tasting and answered all our questions. She’s not only knowledgeable about French wines and wine culture, but also wines we usually drink and buy at home! Fantastic experience and one of our favorite activities during our stay in Paris. I went to this tasting with two friends and we all agreed it was one of the most enjoyable experiences we had in Paris. Sylvia is a fantastic host—smart, funny, and deeply knowledgeable about wine, but in a way that feels very down-to-earth. We learned the basics of wine tasting, explored different styles from around France (and even a couple from other parts of the world), and tasted four unique, organic wines that I’d never find back home. The cheeses were incredible and added so much to the tasting. What I loved most was how interactive the whole session was. Sylvia welcomed all our questions and made sure everyone felt included. I even found a wine I now want to order online! The location was easy to find, and the vibe was relaxed and friendly.

Fantastic au natural! So many different options abound when looking to enjoy wine in France but not so many have the focus on natural wines and leadership! Sylvia was engaging, friendly, playful and very professional as well. Wine tastings can be a gift and a curse - sometimes you feel like you are being talked down to but Sylvia made everyone feel included - from newbies to connoisseurs.
