Time stands still: you are transported into the lush, vibrant world of South American landscapes, among parrots, penguins, jaguars, giant otters, capybaras and many more! Allow at least half a day, and ideally the whole day: depending on the season, up to 12 different animal encounters led by our educational guides are included in your ticket, adding up to 3 to 4 hours of activities. Also enjoy the Ranch des Enfants, our mini farm: wallabies, alpacas, Cameroon sheep and other farm animals. Good activity , only took us a morning to do. Good selection of animals and other things to do
I didn’t even know this place existed until it was mentioned on our Airbnb detail listing as being only 8 minutes from our accommodation. We had visited Disneyland Paris on Saturday 10/10 & went here on Sunday before returning to the UK. What an amazing place with a great ethos. Friendly staff. Beautiful birds & animals - there are so many to see. Plenty of information available in French & English. Fantastic environment. We didn’t get to spend as much time here as we would have liked as we had a ferry to catch. They went to town on the Halloween & Día de los Muertos themes, too. Would DEFINITELY recommend & return.
Worth a visit, I just wish there would be more signs in English.
Had an incredible day at parrot world. Highly recommend going with younger kids. Huge play area for 6+. Immersive zoo, you walk through the parrot enclosure. Was beautiful to see them upclose. €58 for a family ticket which includes 2 adults and 2 children but can be used for 1 adult and 3 children. There is a petting zoo with, goats, pigs, alpaca. It's 50c for feed from the machine outside of the enclosure, so take coins!
Great place. Kids loved the animals, especially the interaction with the pigs. Lovely play park and good food prices. Very clean and tidy. Definitely recommend. Great few hours out
Absolutely amazing experience, beautiful animals especially the jaguars. We fed the penguins too which was so much fun. We really loved this day out.
A great way to spend half a day with a young family. It cost 18 euros per adult and young children under 3 are free. We took our 18 month old to visit the zoo because we were staying nearby and had spent the previous day driving, so wanted to give her a chance to run around and have fun. We didn’t know what to expect from the zoo but it was a great few hours. Our daughter could safely run around and there were loads of things to keep her entertained. She particularly liked the parrots flying over head and the area where she could pat a very tame and patient Pygmy goat. There is a playing area although it seemed suited for older children (aged 6+). And there is an open air cafe that sold a mixture of food, drink and ice creams. Food was things like pizza, hotdogs, fish & chips. We had brought our own lunch and had a picnic on one of the many available benches so I cannot say the price of things, although I did not think it looked too unreadable (what you expect at a tourist attraction). We navigated the site with a pushchair and pretty much had no problems (one flight of stairs near the jaguars and one bird area where we had to leave the chair outside). But it really wasn’t a problem because our daughter wanted to run around anyway. Decent weather is needed to enjoy the zoo because it is mostly outdoors (fortunately we had a nice day). My only one slight moan was the carpark was so faraway from the entrance to the zoo. It was a good 5 minute walk. A good size carpark, and it was a pleasant walk with animals to see on route.
Visited for a day trip (only about 70km from home) in August. Bought the family ticket for the 4 of us which is good value. Very popular with young families. Parking is free - but a bit of a hike to the entrance. The presentations were a little limited - just talks versus the animals doing anything (we did the jaguars, penguins and parrots) and only in French (exclusively). Good play areas for the kids - climbing frames etc and farm walk areas (goats, alpacas etc). Overall very good value and well worth a visit!
We chose the 'jaguar lodge' formula for our trip to Parrot World and would say it was definitely worth it! The room we stayed in was beautiful, with lots of exotic wood and the kids' beds were upstairs, as if they were sleeping in a treehouse. The huge window gave us a great view of the jaguars' enclosure and only about half an hour after checking in, one of the jaguars suddenly appeared on the balcony and lay down only inches away! It was really impressive to see such a beautiful big cat so close to us and he stuck around long enough for us to get some great photos. Our formula also included a delicious three course meal and breakfast in a beautiful restaurant about 5 mins' walk away (with options for gluten-free and vegetarian even vegan diners). We were honoured to meet the owner of the zoo there, who invited us on a private visit the next morning (not sure I'm allowed to say what we saw, but it was magical!!) We also got to join an hour long activity with the other lodge guests which involved feeding some of the animals alongside Juliette, who was really nice and full of energy and explained everything really well. We also felt the rest of the zoo was worth visting : the aviary with all the parrots flying around and squawking was really lovely, and we were big fans of the giant otters. There are talks about the different animals regularly which really help get the best out of your visit and plenty of picnic tables if you bring your own lunch. For us, this was quite an unforgettable experience, which we would definitely recommand !
Is nice but I catch bad weather, was wind and rain is good to going there in the summer period ,but was nice experience I see something new
Very nice experience in the immersive modern zoo. Almost no fence between visitors and animals, very nice scenography and ideally located 15 minutes from Disneyland Paris
Truly a beautiful day with the family. We will be back.
Fantastic trip among the parrots! And other animals
A welcome by welcoming, attentive, and caring staff. A large, comfortable, pretty lodge with a view of the birds without interference. super interesting activities about the life of their residents
We saw more rats than parrots. Is this normal? We were shocked by the number of rats present on the site. Beautiful aviary with flamingos, scarlet ibises, roseate spoonbills, and other beautiful birds.
Very good for children, we did it in half a day, good value for money, we will go back when the new "submerged forest" sector is open.
An experiential animal park that really hits home because most of the rescued animals have stories. You see the animals in semi-freedom very close to the public You can become a zookeeper for a day or an hour, or even feed the animals
Very nice day with activities, the staff present were ready to answer our questions on the side. Well-maintained park, descriptions everywhere, Picnic tables, on-site dining. The children played photographer. Very nice.
In Jaguar Lodge and Pantanal Lodge, the animal show is really superb. The Panoramic restaurant was also very good. The only downside, the front desk took forty-five minutes to bring the luggage to a family with young children who were in a hurry to eat and get on the road... When you love animal conservation, you have to go there..
Great park to visit and the nature is very beautiful. Activities are light, it depends on the activity leaders and if you see the animals.
A very pretty and pleasant park, but you can go around it quickly. The “farm” side is quite fun and the play area for children is nice. We also enjoyed a nice area for a picnic. On the other hand, you mostly see birds: if you are looking to observe other animals, that is not really the case in this park.
We went there as a family with a 2-and-a-half-year-old child. Very beautiful park and the ranch for the children is really great. We did the park in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
A well-thought-out and educational trail. Feeding the animals was particularly appreciated
Very pretty animal park, ideal for a family outing!
Really nice park, where it looks like the animals are well and have larger areas to move on. We could both beat animals and see exotic animals. There were different feeding we could see. The only minus was the food, which was typical tourist food.
I brought my little daughter there, really very disappointed, poorly maintained park. Lots of rats everywhere. Very few animals due to the heat. It would be better to close during the heat wave.
It's a horrible animal park to see: we were really let down! For Parisians who might be discovering animals, the sanitary condition in the pools is not up to the standard of an animal park: the poor fish in green, unsanitary water to the point of not being able to see them 🤔🫢😩 it's shameful, as it is for the birds that are in there! As for the general maintenance, where is it? Where are the paths for people with reduced mobility who might have the chance to see the animals when there are any! They tell you there are 600 animals: rest assured you won't see half of them because the number announced isn't there: with photos, it might work, many must have gone on vacation given how few animals are visible: we still had the luck to see 1 black panther! And what's more, they ask you to make a donation to the Park, and it's also offered to pay to feed the animals, that says it all! Keep your 20 euros and go elsewhere!
Even in very hot weather, I went to this magnificent park that is growing day by day. The animals are in a 5-star hotel. Thanks to the founder and his whole family for allowing us to travel to this idyllic place. Loved by young and old alike!!!! I recommend it 200 percent!!!!
Nice trip with ample parking, friendly prices and a nice park. Especially the open feeling in the ‘largest aviary in Europe’ is fantastic. Nicely dressed, too. Nice playground, a little rickety, however only suitable for larger children. If you come with your little one there is little to do here. Also bring your own food/drinks; there is a place to buy a snack and the menu is (especially unhealthy and) limited.
A wonderful day with our little girls Many animals to see, a playground, and green spaces. The tour route is well designed and allows you to miss nothing. Only jaguars are difficult to see because they are reserved for the lodges.
We appreciated the tour, the activities with explanations about the animals, the parrots are fabulous! We will keep a good memory of it!
Animal park small area but very well designed. The immersive side is a plus for young children. Do not hesitate to follow all the animations that punctuate the route, especially to see the jaguars. Very nice playground to complete the day. A great experience.
The children were delighted in front of all these animals..especially the bright color of the parrots...the spectacle of the penguins and the nice biquettes...but a little disappointed not to see more monkeys....
Great discovery at the gates of Paris , a lodge with jaguars , dinner , a visit and extra staff . To do with children or for a romantic we.
I went to the park with my wife and 16-month-old son, we were delighted to see our son blossoming and happy to see the animals. Great day at Parrot World.
Our 11 year old grandson enjoyed this first experience during which he was accompanied by an animator as part of an outing "animal care", within a small group. He had a preference for the jaguar enclosure he entered to hide food while the animals were of course home. The encounter with otters, pink flamingos and capibaras was also highly appreciated. A great performance!
Beautiful experience and so relaxing. My daughter was in love
Great animals are treated very well. We had a great day. We saw a lot of parrots but also other animals 🙂
Elysabeth, our Zoologist Professor, has just returned from a preventive visit to a nature reserve in the Paris region, Ile de France, department of Seine et Marne, in the countryside of Crécy la Chapelle, rue de Guérard. This animal park, was founded by Eric Vignot, entrepreneur and frantic traveler, in 2020, on an area of 10 hectares, green and exotic, which is called Parrot World. Animal park, immersive, dedicated to the treasures of South America, for a fun and educational experience. Animals, emblematic, nature reserves of Amazonia, Patagonia, which live in a setting, close to their natural habitat, with 600 animals of 120 species. Rich and fragile ecosystems and wild animals threatened with extinction. Eric Vignot’s passion for his parrots, facetious birds, with incandescent plumage, who are our ambassadors and guides, to discover realistic landscapes and all these animals by: 1 - Birds, Black-faced Ibis, Black-bellied Dendrocygne, Widowed Dendrocygne, Fox Dendrocygne, Caribbean Dendrocygne, Chaco Ortalid, Pink squirrel, Rale ypecaha, Humboldt penguin, Darwin's rhea, Cuban flamingo, Chilean pink flamingo, Red Ibis, Heron herding oxen, Blue-throated Penelope, Gray birch, Rigdway's Ibis, Ring-necked Kamichi. 2 - Mammals, Thônes and Marthod Sheep, Highland Cow, Bennett’s Wallabys, Guinea Pig, Chaco Pecari or wild little boar, Maras, Tamarind labié, adorable and cute Giant Otter of Brazil, Red Coati, Guanaco, Capybara, largest rodents in the world, majestic Jaguar black or speckled. 3 - Reptiles, Tortoise furrowed, Florida Turtle, Wheat Snake, Rainbow Bao, Cayman dwarf vat, Canine Bao, Boa gardens. 4 - The Amphibians, Dendrobate to tap. 5 - Pisces, red Piranhas. 6 - A cloud of 200 colorful Parrots, Gray Parrot of Gabon, Waved Parakeet, Calopist Parakeet, Buffalo Ara, Blue Ara, Red Ara, Chlorocopter Ara, Military Ara, Illicer Ara, Golden-necked Ara, Aourou Amazon, Blue-fronted Amazon, Yellow-shouldered Amazon, Amazon of Cuba, Lulacine Amazon. Two immersive routes, the Amazonia Trek, with large aviaries, on 1 hectare and 15 m high, species of the Amazon rainforest and the Patagonia Trek, for wildlife. Erin of greenery, tropical, with araucariaa, conifers with big thorns, palm trees, banana trees. Animal caregivers look after the welfare of the park animals, and they pamper them. They work with the Parrot Wildlife Foundation, an organization that is involved in the conservation and reproduction of endangered psittacids and all species in their natural habitats. Expertise by veterinarians in breeding programs, overseen by the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums, to prevent their extinction, should they become extinct in the wild. Animal behavior specialists to create living spaces, perfectly adapted to the physiological and psychological needs of animals, and educational activities to enrich and stimulate their natural hunting instincts, and foraging. The park has a large playground, three dining areas and a picnic area. Elyzabeth’s move was motivated by the preservation of 4 Rhesus macaques, in the service of science, in laboratory experiments, for their care and insertion in the reserve.
Value for money not at all at the meeting Park completed in 1 hour Lodges taken to see the jaguars we see nothing Run frankly it sucks
Little break out of time with the family. We were able to stay in the lodge of the jaguars. A great experience. Family park, a surprising immersion with parrots. We were also able to feed the grays of Gabon before the park opened. Young and old have been conquered. We were able to eat at the Panoramic. The kitchen is excellent,
Perfect birthday for my daughter. The park is very well maintained nicely decorated and the Animation and Welcoming Team are very kind and professional
Very beautiful zoo, we are passionate about parrots and jaguars, very interesting because there are also entertainment all day, I strongly advise
Very nice to walk among the birds and to be able to observe them very closely. It is better to come to the opening. Small flat: Allowen period to avoid if you are not a fan of skeletons.
We had come to the opening and it was already very nice to circulate among the birds. Parrot World has become a magical haven of peace for all members of the family: the aviaries are very well appointed with beautiful vegetation and the animals seem peaceful. It’s crazy to see the macaws flying so close to us. Magic really!
I went there with my kids on a beautiful Saturday in October. They were very happy to see lots of animals. It's very quick to do. In an hour and a half, it was full circle. I put 4/5 because there are plenty of places not accessible by stroller especially at cheetahs and that I find uuuuuunnn cheap for what it is. There is a fast food corner, very convenient. but it was really great. I'll be back.
Overnight in the lodge jaguar, meal at the panoramic , activity in the morning with care....a great weekend in this new animal park
Experience "caregiver of a day" with my 3 grandchildren. Welcoming, friendly staff. Stroking the capybaras, supervised by Laure, they will remember...
We had a great time with the family. We've seen the panther, the parrots and the penguins. The staff is professional.
