The Musée des Arts Décoratives is fabulous, and well worth visiting with a wonderful visual presentation of the progression of the decorative arts from the Middle Ages thru the 20th century. The VoxCity app, however, which handles the ticketing for this visit, is difficult to navigate. Essentially all we got were our entry tickets, which would have been easier getting directly at the museum. There was supposed to be a City Audio Guide as well, which we were directed to yet another app, the PopCity app, which we were never able to actually enter, despite being provided with a username and password. VoxCity gave a phone number to call, but when we called, no one answered. There truly must be an easier way to acquire entry tickets. And honestly an audio guide for the museum would have been helpful.

The Special Exhibit was excellent but set up in a very confusing way- on different floors in different directions with no clear signs to indicate how one was to go. If that is how the museum is organized then I rate it a 3 but the special exhibit was a 4.
I was very disappointed with the whole process of using Viator and wish I’d gone directly to the museum to buy my tickets. I was not able to open my ticket in my phone, but thankfully one of the museum staff members took pity on me and offered my partner and me 2 free tickets to the exhibition that was the reason I traveled to France from the U.S.
The experience allowed the visitor to the history of clothing and interior design had evolved over the centuries. I especially liked the exhibit on the orient express and the plan to recreate it like the past with all its luxury.
Viator is not a partner of the museum and it was a nightmare to retrieve our tickets and the audio guide was on another app to download. Not happy.
Fantastic exhibition of The Orient Express. The skill and craftsmanship was beyond anything I’ve ever seen before. Art Deco presentations were well worth the visit.
I arrived at the museum and I was told that there were having a lot of issue with tickets from Tripadvisor, after waiting on her queue for about one hour I was told to wait because they could not identify and verify my tickets on their system. After a long wait they let me in however they did not provided the audio guide which was included on yeh package I purchase. A terrible experience!
Had to go to three museum entrance staff to find one who could recognize this ticket - as opposed to one bought on Museum site. And I didn't ask for a ticket "agent" on line, I was looking for Museum site and was bumped to Viator. So be careful
Note that we did not visit on an organized tour and this museum is not operated by the Louvre, so your amis du louvre membership doesn't get you in! This museum is huge, outstanding and little known--the lines at the Louvre extended to the Mediterranean but there were very few people in the decorative arts museum. It is organized by time period and includes many model rooms. it also has a lot of ceramics, wood carving, painting, clocks (also--more clocks), jewelry, clothing. If you like looking at beautiful things and would like to get away from the crowds: This museum is for you!
Beautiful Expo I especially enjoyed the Orient Express
The Museum of Decorative Arts told us that you should have sent us tickets to print and that the reservation we printed was not valid and in addition we paid you 20 euros for admission and audio guides that do not exist in this museum. And that the museum entrance is always 15 euros regardless of the number of temporary exhibitions or not.
Beautiful exhibition with objects that make you dream and that you would like to have at home.
I ask you to unsubscribe from Tripadvisor. Remove my email address from your lists. I wanted two tickets, once, to a museum, not to be revived for trips I never make. Thank you.
Beautiful exhibition, beautiful organization with a final on the express orient that closes this course punctuated by wonderful objects.
Unable to download tickets too complicated there is easier with other sites. Forced to call the service provider several times, who had to come 15 minutes before the museum to unlock our tickets , nobody came ... A little stress knowing that the price is more expensive than the museum is really exaggerated!!!! Fortunately, competent people from the museum unblocked the tickets saying that they had a lot of problems with this provider ... I will never go through this site again.
FYI the TripAdvisor ticket is 5 euros more expensive per person than at the museum directly and the audio is free anyway so do not believe it is included in the price!
We froze waiting outside to get home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of people for the second day ..................
