Juliann was an excellent guide. You could tell that she loves art and was she knows her art! She was cute and friendly and on task. She was very informative and shared lots of interesting facts about the Lourve and works of art. I would recommend her as a tour guide anytime!!

My experience with GYG was pretty terrible. The Louvre tickets they sent me were not actually Louvre tickets, but QR codes for something else. If we hadn’t arrived very early, we would have literally wasted our money and been turned away. Unable to find a solution online, I finally had to call support (in the US state of Wyoming!). I talked to someone with very poor communication skills, but finally managed to get them to send me the actual Louvre tickets, which were for 30 minutes later than the original tickets. After such a lousy experience, I asked the rep for some refund but she refused citing the fact that they had already purchased the tickets—as if that meant they couldn’t refund some of the cost. This is clearly an organization that is just barely legitimate. I would stay away.
Our tour guide (Janet) was friendly and knowledgable and navigated us through an extremely busy day at the Louvre with skill and grace! We had an extremely enjoyable tour and would definitely recommend.
Great experience. Martina is a wonderful guide. Highlighted the main attractions at the Louvre in 2hrs, but did not feel rushed. We got plenty of time to take pictures. It was seamles. It was a bit confusing to find the tour group initially as the tickets were sold by Viator but the guides were from get your guide.
It was ridiculously hot in the museum. The crush of the crowd wasn’t really worth it. I his is not organized, no lines just a mosh of people pushing so hard you aren’t standing on your own. Later may be better. Our tour started at 10:15 but by the time we cleared security etc and to the Mona Lisa it was about 11am. Rene - Get your Guide was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable not just about the pieces but the process of how original art was done and the many layers of it. He also explained general artistry terms so the novice could learn about the care, thought and preparation it took. Listening to him and feeling his love for art made the tour worth it.
You will enjoy this tour. Guide was great. He is very knowledgeable. You will tour with a small group. Guarantee you will walk away happy.
Do not utilize this company. It provides fraudulent services and no customer service to support people when there are mistakes. I bought tickets from them to Louvre in Paris today and they were not able to provide access. What’s worse is that it’s my wife and I’s 10th anniversary and bc we booked with them vs directly with the Louvre now we cannot get tickets and it is all booked up during our stay. When inquiring to see if they will just book me with another tour they have they said I have to pay again for another tour and it’s even more expensive. Please do not go with this company. I have screenshots with their customer service if you want to see how they treat customers (terribly).
Get your guide are useless, we had a booking for the Louvre which they cancelled, then wouldn't return our calls and then didn't give a refund. We won't use them anymore and we had up to today spent alot of money with them. Do yourself a favour book direct
It is a great tour to see the highlights, but the tour guide we had, Ahmad, we awesome. Highly recommend him. Was great!
Our guide Myriam was an excellent tour guide. Came on time and was very organized. She situated us efficiently by giving directions on what to do first and when the tour ends. The tour itself was very informative and interesting
Truly a great experience and the way to go! We learned a lot through the guide and had easy access skipping the long lines. Fantastic experience!
Very informative for only 2 hours and easy and fast access plus semi private bathrooms at beginning of tour so again small lines, huge time saver all around.
Excellent highlights tour of the Louvre. Tour guide highlighted the main pieces and expertly navigated us through the exhibits. Great to get priority access with no waiting at all. Excellent tour and exactly what I was after.
This is the way to go! Our guide was very nice, very knowledgeable, and made the tour a great time! It was worth the price just to avoid the lines and to be able to get in, see the major attractions, and then have time to meander through the rest of the museum.
Tour guide Andrea was pleasant, knowledgeable, and courteous. She pointed every important painting and gave a very good history of louvre.
This was a great way to see the highlights of the Louvre in a very short period of time. Our guide Martina was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot from her.
Very crowded. Had to stand in line even though we had sighed up for skip the line. Our guide was personable and had knowledge but just about ran through the exhibits. By the time we caught up, he was off to the next one. We had to go back through on our own. Not happy and would not recommend.
Our tour guide was wonderful and made the whole experience interesting a relaxing. She navigated the crowds perfectly and lead us to all the right places. Highly recommend!
Great guide and tour. Straight to the masterpieces, didn’t waste any time. Highly recommend, I would definitely do again!
What a wonderful experience to learn about some of the most famous works of art and outstanding commentary by our guide. We had a great time!
Very informative - Maryam was a great leader. Got us tix to get into museum quickly and stay inside after the tour was over.
Wonderful tour of Louvre with a humorous guide. Loved the headsets and explanation of beautiful pieces of art.
Gabriella was lovely! Just the right amount of history with interesting details and discussion throughout. She showed us the highlights of the Louvre in 2 hours - which would not have been possible without a guide. The only hiccup is that because it was a larger group we had to wait around quite a bit for people who were lagging or didn’t show up - but overall was a great tour!
Fantastic tour guide and tour! It was a perfect amount of time with the tour group then time on our own. The guide was great! Book this today!
Heading to the Louvre with 2 teenagers can be intimidating. I didn’t want them to feel overwhelmed by the enormity of the museum, so we opted for a tour so there would be some structure. Our guide, Benito, was amazing. He was so passionate about the museum and the art and kept our small group interested and engaged. He asked and answered many questions and was very knowledgeable. The skip the line feature was great as it was very crowded. Would definitely recommend.
The tour was incredible! The guide did a great job keeping everyone together, explaining the history of the different pieces. It was particularly helpful to get a lesson on da Vinci's earlier works before seeing the Mona Lisa.
Our tour guide was amazing as his knowledge of the masterpieces we saw brought the piece alive. The museum was full but he gave us such incredible attention and included the children that were in our group by asking them questions and giving such praise when they answered even if they weren’t correct. He truly was the highlight of the tour.
We had a wonderful experience touring the Louvre with a very knowledgeable and engaging guide, who truly brought the art and history to life. However, our visit took place on a Saturday afternoon, and the museum was extremely crowded. The sheer number of visitors made it difficult to fully appreciate the artwork, and the galleries felt quite hot and congested, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the meeting point for the start of the tour was not clearly defined. Everyone in our group found it confusing and felt that this aspect could be improved for future tours. Despite these challenges, our guide remained professional and enthusiastic, making the best of a tough situation and ensuring we still learned a lot. I would definitely recommend this tour for the quality of the guide, but I strongly suggest booking during a less busy time to make the most of your visit.

I had a fantastic experience on the Louvre tour with Gabriella! She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the artworks to life with her storytelling. The organization of the tour was excellent from start to finish—everything ran smoothly, and it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully planned. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Gabriella as your guide!
Group access worked well, keeping the time in que very reasonable. Our guide, Aurelia, was very knowledgeable, but moved very quickly - way too quickly for some in the group to keep up - so the group spread out quite a bit on the way to the entrance. The balance between Aurelia's discussion of the building was out of balance with discussion of the art. And, other than at the Mona Lisa (you will see it if you brave the crush to get close enough), she spent way to little time in the area with Italian and other painting genre, and moved too quickly for photos, other than in the Greek statuary. But, she was energetic and interesting along the way, and there was time after the tour for us to slow down and move at our own pace. .
Imad was amazing. Great history and passion The “3 ladies” was the highlight. And the sphinx. Well done!
Our guide was amazing. He took us to the most important aspects of the museum otherwise we would have been lost. Hecws very knowledgeable and made some jokes and kept us entertained. Awesome experience
The Louvre was extremely crowded. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to show us the highlights of the museum. She did a great job of explaining all the details. I highly recommend having a tour to help navigate this massive museum.
Very knowledgeable guide. Enjoyed the banter and solid tips. Great to understand the context of what we were seeing.
This tour was a nice way to see the high points of the Louvre. Given how much there is to see there and given how big it is, it is easy to get lost. Our guide, Leticia, did a great job navigating us to the key high points without rushing us through. We learned a lot from her about what we were seeing both in the palace and the art. She was very pleasant and patient with our group, even helping an older person find elevators and still keep up with our tour. I will note that the headphone was uncomfortable for my 12 year old son. It might be good to have a smaller or different type of earphone for children. We also enjoyed the fact that we were able to explore the museum after the tour ended until we decided we were done. and Letticia gave us some tips about how to see that areas we were interested in.
We enjoyed the Louvre tour. We were interested in the history of the building and the artworks. The skip the line was great, and we were early enough (and off-season) to snag a coat locker. We saw the more famous artworks of the Louvre as well as some lesser knowns. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared very interesting information. She offered ideas of areas to visit after the tour ended.
Seeing the Louvre and having the most famous pieces of art shown us by our very knowledgeable guide. We appreciated her enthusiasm and explanations!! So very helpful for her to point out details we would have missed!!
A must when in Paris and also a must to book with a guided tour! When we left at 3:00 pm the entrance line to buy tickets was about 3 hours. Our guide Sophie had impeccable English and her love of the art and the Louvre and ultimately her job as a tour guide were very obvious. She was great! The crush to get pics of the Mona Lisa was insane. Probably could visit the Louvre every time you go to Paris and study some new aspects.
The Lourve is huge and cannot be covered in a day. The tour provided a chance to view a great many masterpieces. I enjoyed hearing about the history, the perspectives and the back stories of the many masterpieces. The guide Laetitia is knowledgeable and a great story teller which made the whole 2.5 hours very enjoyable.
Isabel was a great tour guide. Very nice and knowledgeable. Great art history that she shared with us on the museum and the art we saw.
Our trip was again confusing .The meeting point was hard to find . Phone calls had to be made on my international phone to find it . Again as with others it took 1 hour to reach the entrance and enter museum. So after 1 hour tour was finished. Tour was 2 hour 10-12pm. I don't know why Viator guides waste so much time on arranging different places for meeting and not the actual place .eg top of the glass dome
Our guide was Ugo and he made us fall in love with art. Knowledgeable, available, kind, and passionate, he told us many interesting anecdotes and helped us discover some of the treasures of the Louvre, a highly recommended experience!
The tour guide arrives on time at the meeting point, detailed explanation about the history of the Louvre Museum and details
Nice tour, good tour guide. Can recommend. Stayed after the tour to explore further. Nice stores in connection.
Bad experience. We didn't actually see anything. The guide spoke and told only anecdotes
It was very nice and the guide was very good. You have to keep a lot of people in mind, and so it's pretty heavy.
I'm very disappointed and upset right now. I booked a visit to the Louvre for 12.30pm and as we stand in line there, the entrance checks our tickets, which I understandably did not check again. What does it say? Not 12.30!!! 🫣 We just got different times. Why? The tickets had not been changed for 12.30pm and without announcement simply to 4.00pm?! Why? We were traveling with child and had planned our day differently! I can no longer recommend GETYOURGIDE for the Louvre! 👎🏻
