Very good. Tour guide Author was great. We enjoyed the champagne at the small house. The bigger house was a bit too much. Tour too long and too many people.

Itinerary
Your day begins with convenient pickup directly from your hotel or Airbnb in Paris. Once everyone is on board, we depart for the beautiful Champagne region. On the way, depending on timing and road conditions, we may make a short comfort stop at a service area where you can use the restrooms, grab coffee, or buy snacks if you wish. After that, we continue our journey through the scenic French countryside toward Champagne, where your experience truly begins.
During your Champagne journey, we stop in the historic city of Reims to visit the iconic Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral — one of the most important Gothic cathedrals in France and the traditional site of French royal coronations. You will have approximately 30 minutes of free time to explore the cathedral at your own pace, take photos, and, if open and available, step inside to admire its stunning architecture and stained-glass windows. When possible, your guide will also share insights about the cathedral’s history and its significance to French heritage, making the visit more meaningful and engaging.
After visiting Reims, you will continue to your first Champagne house — a small, family-owned producer. This visit is designed to give you an authentic, more intimate look at Champagne making. Here, you will enjoy a guided tour of the estate, including the cellars (caves), where you will learn about traditional production methods and the history of the family business. The experience finishes with a tasting of their Champagnes, allowing you to experience a more artisanal and personal style of production. This visit is an important part of the tour, as it offers a direct contrast to the larger, more commercial Champagne house you will visit later in the day.
During the day, you will enjoy a traditional French 3-course lunch included in your experience. This meal is designed to give you an authentic taste of French cuisine in a relaxed and comfortable setting. You will be served a carefully selected menu featuring a starter, main course, and dessert, showcasing classic French flavors and regional inspiration. This lunch is not just a meal, but part of your cultural experience in Champagne — allowing you to slow down, enjoy the atmosphere, and fully immerse yourself in the French way of life.
After lunch, you will continue to one of the renowned large Champagne houses in the region, such as Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Taittinger, or Nicolas Feuillatte (depending on availability). Here, you will discover the contrast between artisanal production and large-scale Champagne manufacturing. Your visit typically includes a guided tour of the production areas and cellars, where you will learn how Champagne is produced on a much larger, more industrial scale, while still maintaining strict quality standards. The experience highlights the difference in style, scale, and philosophy between small family producers and world-famous Champagne houses — giving you a complete understanding of the region.
You will also visit the world-famous Avenue de Champagne in Épernay — often called the “most prestigious street in Champagne,” home to some of the most iconic Champagne houses. Here, your guide will introduce you to the history and significance of the avenue, while you enjoy free time to walk along the street, take photos, and soak in the elegant atmosphere of this UNESCO-listed area. It is the perfect moment to experience the heritage and prestige of Champagne in a relaxed and memorable setting.
At one of the scenic stops during the day, your guide/driver will host a fun and interactive blind tasting experience in a beautiful setting in the Champagne region. You will compare different sparkling wines, including Crémant and Champagne, learning to recognize differences in taste, aroma, and style in a relaxed and engaging way. As a highlight of the experience, your guide will also demonstrate the traditional art of sabrage — opening a Champagne bottle with a sabre — giving you a unique and memorable moment to enjoy and photograph.
At the end of the day, your driver/guide will bring you back to your original pickup location in Paris. If you prefer, you may also request a drop-off at a different location within Paris, subject to your guide’s approval and traffic conditions. Throughout the day, feel free to discuss this with your guide so the return can be arranged in the most convenient way for you.

It was a lovely day despite the rain. Alex was amazing!!!! Restaurant for lunch was good but underwhelming. We really enjoyed our day!!
Alex/Alexander was the best tour guide ever! He was so knowledgeable, kind, and generous! From helping us off the vehicle to guiding us through the tours and taking us to a view, he made the tour unforgettable. We could not be more grateful for his guidance and support!
It was a lovely tour but a very long day. Lots to drink and an excellent lunch. Nikita was an great guide.
Tomer picked me up from my airbnb right on time and we headed out to wine country. He made a comfort stop along the way and we carried on to Notre Dame in Reims. WOW, what stunning architecture in the cathedral. Then we toodled over to a winery for a tasting and a fantastic lunch, followed by another winery stop. I felt he made the trip super enjoyable for everyone on board no matter their age. He finished our day with a stop in a beautiful vineyard where we enjoyed more champagne and took some photos. Honestly, this was the best day I had in the week I was in Paris. I'd recommend this tour 11/10. Tomer was a phenomenal guide and just a delight to be around.
The tour was amazing! We visited a small, cooperative champagne house where we learned about the entire champagne making process. Lunch was served in Epernay near the Avenue de Champagne. Our guide then took us up on the hillside among the grapevines where we sipped champagne and took in the incredible views. The next stop was in Reims to see the Notre Dame Cathedral where nearly all of the French kings had been coronated. Our final visit was at Tattinger. The tour there included going down into the cellars where two million bottles of champagne are stored. Overall, this tour is one I would definitely do again.
Excellent tour. Lovely experience enjoing the scenery, history, great weather and wonderful champagne.
Good organisation, everything on time, all according to the initiatory, with extra things like tasting videos and photos! Good guides and good memories!
Well organised with a variety of experiences provided. We had so much fun as the day progressed. Big thanks to our guide Arthur.
This tour was absolutely amazing! The small size of the group makes it so you get to know each other and make friends while sipping on delicious champagne! Can’t think of a better way to spend a day.
Arthur was phenomenal very knowledgable very personable very entertaining a real treat we throughly enjoyed his guidance and whit
Alex was fantastic tour guide. A very enjoyable day including lunch. He has a great insight into the world of champagne and champagne houses. Highly recommended
fantastic experience on this tour! Everything was very well organized, from start to finish, and our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly.
It’s a wonderful trip. Our guide was outstanding and very knowledgeable, lunch was delicious, and finally the pick up and drop off was seamless.
Spent a wonderful day in Champagne with two other couples and a driver/guide TJ who was excellent. Started at Nicolas Feuillatte with excellent overview of champagne making. Then had delicious lunch in Epernay. Afterward, we drove to picturesque overlook of vineyards and Marne River. TJ had one of our group open champagne with a saber. Very cool! Also tasted a port-like after dinner cordial. Then went to cathedral in Reim, where most French kings were crowned. Ended at boutique winery - Dom Caudron - where we had a few more tastings. TJ originally from US, so spoke excellent English. He had a warm, engaging personality that made the day a huge success! Highly recommend this tour with TJ from GoGo Tours.
Sasha was a fantastic guide and was punctual, entertaining and informative!
Picked up and dropped off at door-no thinking involved. Great guide Tomer who loves his job and communicated well. Unreal landscape and tasting/winemaking/historical experience. Well worth the money.
Excellent outing! Our guide Alex was extremely knowledgeable and kept the champagne flowing. Highly recommend!
I wanted to present the Reims Cathedral to my wife and visit cellars, enjoying some champagne tasting. All our objectives were fullfilled and we were very happy at the end of our tour.
Tomer was a fabulous tour guide! He was so knowledgeable and funny and great company. You can tell he was passionate about the champagne history. He was a great guide and would highly recommend him! Such an amazing experience! Doing this excursion is a MUST if travelling to France!
This champagne day tour was amazing! We did the semi private tour with hotel pick up. Arthur our guide and driver for the day was fantastic! He was friendly and helpful. He explained everything we were seeing along the way. The other 4 people along with us were friendly and we got along great . The Taitinger Champagne tour was so interesting and informative. The caverns were amazing. We learned a lot about the whole process of making champagne. We visited the Reims cathedral in all its glory. The history of the church and architecture were so interesting. Then we taken to a restaurant for a delicious 3 course lunch. Our little group sat together and had nice conversations about where we were all from. Afterwards we were taken to two other Champagne houses for more tastings and tours. Thank you so much for organizing this wonderful day for us. Having the option to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel was a big plus! We highly recommend this company and our guide Arthur was fantastic!
The day trip to the Champagne region was wonderful. TJ is a great guide sharing lots of information about each of our stops. The tour of the Nicolas Feuillatte champage house was so interesting and the three champagnes that we tasted were great. Our next stop was the small family run champagne house with a tour and exceptional lunch wth 3 more champagnes to taste. Then on to our picture stop at a park overlooking the Marne valley. Great picks to send home. The last stop was a visit to the Reims Notre Dame cathedral, a rival to the Paris Notre Dame. Truly breathtaking. Thank you TJ for a great day
TJ is an amazing tour guide! He is extremely personable and very knowledgeable. I highly would recommend TJ specifically as a tour guide..
Arthur was a kind and fun guide! The stops were a perfect balance of larger family and small family wineries. Highly recommend this tour.
Spent a wonderful day learning about Champagne. Alex did a super job of getting us to the various vineyards and was very informative and entertaining along the way. Very professional… i will send my friends!!!
Was an awesome experience with Max as our guide. We visited a wonderful quaint family champagne house with delicious champagne, authentic cuisine at lunch and outstanding French ambiance. Max is an expert at explaining the champagne business as well as meeting the needs of the group. Wonderful day, tres bonne! Don't hesitate!!! Take the tour.
Best tour I have ever done… great wine, Great food, fantastic guide… I can’t wait to visit Paris again so I can do it again
Max was our guide - nothing was too much trouble. We were picked up on time from our hotel and shared the tour with 6 others. Our visit to Taitinger was fantastic & we got to try several champagnes. The visitors to Reims and the cathedral was great and then onto lunch at the local champagne producer was superb - the food & champagne were excellent. We made a last and unexpected visit to Moet & Chandon and were able to experience another tasting (at our own expense). One again Max was very knowledgeable and a great guide for the day. Highly recommended this as a day trip.
This tour was once in a lifetime! Our tour guide, Max was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting France. I can’t say enough good things about it.
Very nice experience. Our guide Malsim is perfect to explain and help show us around. Not too packed on schedule and a lot of champagne
Max, our guide was amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable and totally catered the day to the experience we were looking for. I would highly recommend this tour and this company!
Great day! Spent the day in the beautiful region for my husbands 50th. Alex was great and went above and beyond.
We had a great tour with Max. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the region.
The four of us had an outstanding tour of the Champagne region, including visiting two champagne houses, the Notre Dame Cathedral if Reims and a delightful lunch featuring local specialties in a beautiful open air setting. We went into the cellars where we learned a great deal about the history of Champagne and details about the process from the vineyard to the aged bottle of fine champagne. We enjoyed two tastings of a variety of types of champagne. We had comfortable transportation from our hotel in Paris and back. Nikita, our guide and driver, was great and had a great fund of knowledge to share with us. We would definitely recommend and would do it again.
An amazing tour. Nikita drove expertly and did not talk too much on the way, allowing us all to enjoy the ride and scenery. He made the day so much fun and returned my hat to me. I left it in the can and he returned it to my hotel the next day. WOW! What a great day.
I had a fabulous time traveling with Arthur to the Champagne region for multiple tastings, shopping, site seeing and cultural visits. Arthur made us feel comfortable and kept us safe on the road. He taught us all about champagne from pressing to production. I had a DELICIOUS lunch at a beautiful small champagne house with 5 of my newest friends. Loved the personalized pickup and drop off to the hotel and the timing was perfect. Highly recommend this tour and Arthur as your guide!
Wonderful tour! You get a LOT of value in this tour- we tasted 7 champagnes plus a liqueur as part of the tour. The included lunch was FABULOUS! Our guide, Tomer, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and had great energy throughout the day. The countryside is absolutely beautiful as you drive between the different champagne houses!
Our group of 7 had an absolutely incredible day on this champagne tour from Paris to Reims! From start to finish, the experience exceeded all of our expectations and was filled with wonderful surprises. One of the highlights was visiting the historic Veuve Clicquot Champagne House, which had been at the top of our wish list. We also toured the magnificent Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral, where our guide shared fascinating historical stories and details that made the visit so much more meaningful. The day included a fantastic lunch, a lovely stroll along the famous Champagne Avenue in Épernay, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful scenery. To top it all off, we were surprised with a sabrage lesson, where we learned how to open a champagne bottle with a saber—such a fun and unforgettable experience! Everything was perfectly organized, and our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire day enjoyable. If you’re looking for a memorable champagne tour from Paris, we can’t recommend this one highly enough. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip!
This was such a fun experience. Tomer was the best guide/driver. We recommend anyone curious about champagne to do this tour and enjoy every second. It’s all so beautiful…
This was a really good tour. Tomer was our guide and he is very knowledgeable and friendly. the only thing to note is that the 8am start is the expected time to be on the road towards Reims. this means if there are multiple people to pick up your start will depend on the order the driver is picking up to be on the road in time. My start was 7:15am. the driver will text you sometime the day before so look out for that.
Arturas was very dedicated and fun driver, everything went smooth and interesting for us, would recommend to all of the couples that like champagne and easy going trip:)
What a great day!! Everything was excellent! Our guide Sebastian handled everything perfectly, super nice guy. Highly recommend this tour with Sebastian
Alex was a friendly and knowledgeable host. We had a great time even with extreme heat that day. The champagne caves were enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Timer was an excellent driver and was well informed about champagne the region and its history Visit to taittanger vineyard and caves built by monks was really fascinating Wish I was better informed how cold it would be in the wine cellar as I did not bring a jacket Lunch was great and more than enough Would highly recommend
TJ was an incredible guide—so knowledgeable, engaging, and he made every part of the day fun and memorable. The tour was perfectly organized, with visits to two wonderfully different Champagne houses, a stop at Notre-Dame, and a special visit to the vineyards with absolutely incredible views. We learned so much about the Champagne region and the production process, while also enjoying the beautiful scenery and history. TJ’s passion and expertise really brought everything to life. This was easily one of the best experiences of our trip, and we’re so glad we decided to do it. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the region! It was a really nice change of scenery from Paris!
Long but fun day trip out of Paris. Our guide picked us up at the hotel, and was a great driver and guide for the day. We saw a few champagne houses, got a great tour of a production facility, did several tastings, and even had time to self-tour the cathedral in Reims. We were back in Paris by dinner time. If you can’t do an overnight in Reims, this is the next best option!
Overall we had a great experience. I wish we had more time to visit some of the houses like Moet and Veuve to sit at the bar and have time to properly buy things. Nonetheless, it was a great experience overall.
We had an absolutely fantastic day touring the Champagne region with Sebastian. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel in Paris, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. He made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Throughout the day, we visited several wonderful Champagne houses, each offering a unique experience and excellent tastings. Sebastian was knowledgeable, organized, and happy to tailor the day to our interests. We also enjoyed a delicious multi-course lunch that was a perfect complement to the tour. The entire trip exceeded our expectations. The scenery, the Champagne, and Sebastian’s exceptional service made for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Champagne region from Paris. Thank you, Sebastian, for such a memorable day!
The two champagne houses we visited were great. The group size of 8 guests was the perfect size for this trip. I appreciated being picked up and dropped off at my hotel (not all tours I looked at did this). Lunch was very good. The tour description was a little misleading, as we did not stroll the Avenue de Champagne. My main disappointment was the tour guide, who was on his phone for the majority of the time and seemed very distracted. I expected him to interact more and give us history and insights into what we were seeing along the way, which he didn't do much of. He also pretty much ignored us during lunch. I don't feel this was worth what I paid.
He was so informative and made us and the children feel Like VIP. The tastings and lunch were amazing and the sites were breathtaking. Thank you Tomer!
